Although it was a tiny country store, we were treated with respect and the process was very smooth. The manager was training someone how to check us in and even with that it was very quick. He explained everything to us and we were on our way quickly. Overall a great experience.

The gentleman that helped me with my drop off was extremely kind and I would definitely recommend his location for a drop off and pick up.
Gas price to refill there was at least double the going rate, very old pumps could not read the price, also only offered â€œplusâ€ gas.

It was very frustrating gettin the truck with a lot obstacles.
I checked in with my phone, but ended up having to go in the store and redo every Otha today done on my phone, which put me way behind my schedule as the guy who was helping me was having a hard time getting things to go through stating it was a system problem. I'd already put in a credit card on 7/28/19 when I made the reservation, but he couldn't fond that card on file until I gave him another card to put it on. The radio in the U-Haul didn't work.
Very poor service, equipment not clean. Very bad experience

I have no gripe with the pickup location, HOWEVER I have a BIG gripe with UHaul. I reserved a 26 foot truck at a location 1/2 mile from my home 3 weeks in advance. Imagine my surprise when I get a call from a UHaul rep just two days prior to the move telling me if I want that 26 foot truck I have to drive 40 miles to get it and on top of that I have to pay the .99 a mile fee. That's 80 miles round trip just to get the truck. So $80 it would cost me for THEM to pull this trick.48 hours before the move. I ended up with a 20 ft truck 12 miles from my home. I doubt I'll ever use UHaul again.... I would think a RESERVATION means just that
Make renting the equipment quicker, it shouldnt take 45 minutes or more to do the paperwork, not just this place but other places we have used, streamline the process
Cleaner and better truck for the price. Maybe another location in the area since this was the only place for miles.

i went on line and reserved the tow dolly. I got to the store to pick it up and the person told me that everything I did online did not matter. She started everything over again. It took her about 4 times of me telling her the same information over and over to get the information in the system. She kept stopping and waiting on other customers coming to the counter. She even started to chit chat with a customer that was going out the door about something going on in his community. I told her I needed to be checked out and needed to go. This was about 40 minutes after I had came into the store. After that she told me that i could go and they will send me a receipt. I have rented from other uhual before and this was the worst experience ever.
Train staff to not assume
attendant that was on duty when I picked up the truck was unfriendly and uneducated. I had a minor accident incident when returning the truck. The owner of the store was not there. He has lied to Uhaul and told them I caused damage to the truck when in fact his employee told NC Highway Patrol that she had caused all the damage to the truck in the previous week. Now I have been charged by Uhaul $1180.00 for damages not caused by me. I have a complaint file #1856239 open. The Uhaul area filed manager, Mr Stedman, did not call me back on July 3rd as promised by customer service. I am demanding a full refund, including rental fee and mileage, taxes and environmental fee.
The clerk at the location didn't seem to be very familiar with the rental process. I was told that the fee for rental was $44.95, but upon checkout, it was $59. There was an $8 insurance charge that I was told was mandatory. If that's the case, then that should be disclosed when the price is quoted. They offered no help whatsoever in hooking up the trailer or checking to make sure the lights worked. When I returned it, they never even looked outside to see if it was actually there. I have rented a tow dolly from the Little River, SC location before, which was a completely different experience. The Little River location checked everything before I left and when I returned it.
The guy that rented the trailer to us was talking around the answer I asked after he kept pushing insurance on me that I didn't have to have because I had my own and no matter what I said he talked around it and charged me insurance anyway and told me I could call the head office to change it. Well I did and U Hall was awesome and immediately refunded my money but why did he have to push that on me?? The location was an old gas station and inside was very sketchy looking with half blocked off with yard sale items. Would not recommend
This was the worse experience I have ever had with Uhaul or any other truck renting company. I rented on line and still spent almost 2 hours to rent truck at location while being cussed at for doing it on line. I was charged completely wrong and told to deal with Uhaul about it. When I went to return I waited over an hour because someone was trying to rent a truck and like me was getting the run around. The person in front of me finally decided to go elsewhere to rent because of the attitude of the person at the store. I had a truck for 2 days went 32 miles and was charged $205 and $157. The lady told me Uhaul would have to fix charges but she refused to allow me to leave without paying. I want someone to call me. I have a lot more moving to do and will be looking for a different company with more professional people. No one should be treated the way I was treated.

You need to really work hard on your computer system. I entered all of the registration information but when I went to pick the truck up I had to provide everything again. Then the computer kept kicking the clerk out and she had to call u-haul twice to get the information into the system So I was there for an hour which is crazy being that I reserved online and provided exactly the same information that was asked again in person.
Pick up/ drop off location needs some more instruction on U -haul transactions. It took 48 minutes on the phone for the pick-up that apparently was not done correctly. I received a phone call from U-Haul the next morning asking if I still wanted the trailer. It did only take 20 minutes to return trailer.
We had to be waited on in between the quick mart customers. The sales clerk did not go over the truck with us to make sure any damage had been noted so it was not charged to us. There were moving blankets in the truck that we did not purchase. Since there was no record of these blankets we could have kept them and no one would have known. We felt the entire experience for pickup was unprofessional and would never use a non-uhaul owned place again.
