Truck had maintenance issue.. probably alignment. All vehicles should be driven certain distances and speed ..to check for possible driving issues or taken into vehicle repair garage ..to be checked on a CV regular scheduled basis. Also.. the attendants at your locations should not be locking the entrance doors 5 and 10 minutes before the actual times made to the public & customers , especially when the customer is returning vehicles and the customer is trying enter the location. I've found that to be very unprofessional, rude, and shows poor customer service. I've also heard that from people I have personally referred to uhaul for their business needs.

When I picked up my reservation i selected that i did not want the $14 coverage. The touch screen was walking me thru the things I was agreeing to by denying this and at the last step it would not let me select “I accept.” I told the attendant and he said don’t worry that he can override it in the system. I said ok and trusted that he would do so. Apparently he never removed and I ended up paying for something I did not agree to. I spoke to manager and he didn’t even bother calling the attendant and asking him any questions. He simply dismissed me and said I could not get my money back. On top of everything I waited a long time for attendant to even load the dolly I had requested with the reservation. I did not feel good customer service from Kerry or the GM Javontius.

The 1st location needs to,give notice when the truck isn't going to be available. The 2nd location changed our reservation with no notice and charged us additional fees like insurance and 2 hrs when we originally had a reservation made online with a full day and no insurance

The return process was way too complicated and confusing. We faced some technological difficulties with the return process which was annoying.

My problem is actually not with the Memorial Drive location. They were fine. But I was sent there only after one of the worst business interactions I've ever had in my life with the proprietor of the BP Redan U-Haul location at 4794 Redan Road, Stone Mountain. I arrived at the Redan Road location at the scheduled pickup time of 9:30am. The proprietor did not show up until 10:10am. A full 40 minutes late. He made little if any apology for his tardiness. We then proceeded to the office, and he informed me that he did not have a number of the items I had reserved. He took no responsibility for this and made no apology. When I protested about this, he used profanity, and told me that he refused to rent me a truck. He demanded that I leave his store. I could not believe the level of unprofessional behavior displayed by him. I immediately contacted the regional manager, Danny Quinn. He was somewhat apologetic, but frankly wasn't very helpful. He just said he would look into it. I found this an insufficient response to the outrageous behavior of the Redan Road agent. Mr. Quinn has not followed up with me about the incident. I am planning to tell everyone I know about this incident, and encourage them never to do business with U-Haul, unless someone from the company follows up with me and tells me what measures have taken to address this incident.
