this location is a gas station/convenience store/u-haul. paperwork was done at the counter where all their transactions are done. felt like renting a u-haul was an an afterthought, standing at the counter while other business was conducted

The owner was VERY nice. But the location was hard to identify beyond the trucks parked in front of a mobile office. There were no signs that explained the Uhaul personnel were in the gas station one lot over (though connected by a parking lot. This would be a 4-star, if there was better signage showing where to go to be checked in/out and/or dropping off a truck (there is NO key drop-off box).

I was offered one this one the web site of 1.29 per mile for the whole day rental and then when i returned it is was charged1.59 per mile dont think that was right to offer me one thing and then tell me because i didn't use 100 miles

My original 26ft truck that I rented was cancelled on me less then 24 hrs before my moving. date. This left me no choice but to rent smaller truck . It was terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone renting from uhaul

I was promised a $50 refund because the day before I was told to go to 2151 Arthur kill rd and original pick up was scheduled for Bay st. They said they did not have truck I needed and sent me totally to the other side of Staten Island which I incurred extra mileage and inconvenience to get their. This was a terrible experience. It took over 3 hours and 2 phone calls to customer service to pick up a vehicle I had reserved well in advance. The employee at that location was dismissive and difficult to work with.

The people running the location were not helpful. We were called to confirm our order for a 20' truck at 7:30 am on Monday. When we arrived we were told they didn't open until 8:30 and that they only had a 17' truck. We came back at 8:30 and got that truck. We needed to extend our truck for a second day and the phone did not work at that location. We went in to the location and asked if we could keep the truck overnight for another day. We were ultimately told we could return it the next day after 8:30 am, but would be charged for a second day. I said we would need it another day, so charge us and put it in the computer. I asked if we could keep the truck until 8 pm the following day and was told yes. When I brought the truck back at 7:57 pm, I was charged for 3 days! I did not even have the truck for 36 hours! The people that worked there told me there was nothing they could do and that I was late. They didn't care about customer service or helping me solve any of the problems we encountered.

only got 6 of the moving pads and paid for 12 also was no garment box which they said i would have to pick up in Edison NJ. I didn't go of course but otherwise the people there were very nice and helpful

Myself & the group of buyers I deal with have rented from U-Haul many times before & this will be our last. I was told at the counter that because of the expeced mileage I was to be doing that I would receive the discounted rate after 100 miles. I never received it. If that was not enough to turn me away. I was given a truck with 110,000+ mileage that broke down on the way home & added over 3 hours to my trip. The trandmssion locked up in 3RD gear & would jump in & out of gear. This also caused me to burn more gas then normal & drve well under the speed limit. I called the night before to reserve telling the man on the phone that t was imperative that I have the truck for 7AM understanding that they do not use the computer till 8:30. He said t would be ready for me. When I got there it was not ready making my tip go into rush hour traffic whch was no fun at all. I would have picked up the truck the nght before f that was what was needed but agan I was assured it would be ready. This was the worst rental I have ever had. Total it cost me over $600 for the rental & well over $100 in gas. With all the other truck companies out there payng more then a fair rate for a truck I should have gotten better service & vechile
