Cargo bay floor had dirt/ oil on it that ended up on my white carpet. Did not use furniture pads nor did I open the bag and was still charged for them. Very poor attention.

Great customer service at that location
I don't usually make time for this kinda stuff, but when I left there the other day, I was really delighted. Honestly there was â€œnothing specialâ€ about any of it. I rented a truck and returned it. The person that checked me back in had a tone that put me in a great mood, he was quick, wanted to know how I was doing, he checked over the truck, and said he would email the receipt. He was in a medium to good mood, but I felt like he was happy to see me like an old friend. The whole way home I reflected on how easy the whole thing was and how the guy who rented me the truck was also very sharp and polite and pretty quick to get me through. It's tough to find good help; you got a great team, I hope you take good care of them. Thanks for reading this far;).

I asked for a dolly and pads. They were not in the truck. I forgot to look, but we did ok. I dont think i was charged for them. But ordering online... this should not have happened.

Staff at Bruns Lane U-Haul in Springfield were exceptionally friendly and provided all the information necessary. [When we were ready to depart on a long trip with the truck, we felt the back driver side tires were slightly low. We stopped at the Clear Lake U-Haul on the way out of town and staff there checked and filled all the tires. Our U-Haul experience was great from start to finish!
Impress upon employees honesty in returning lost items to customers. Your employee confirmed to me my car chargers (2) were left behind. When I came to pick them up only was was returned to me even though in phone conversation both were found together.
Truck was dirty. I also was charged a clean up fee and was promised a discount if I brought it back with a quarter tank of gas which I did and was still charged an extra fee. Horrible experience and needs to be more transparency with pricing.
2 employees were working. The one I assumed to be in charge was a pain in the ass. Seemed he struggled to not rent to me. Trailer was dirty inside, trailer tail lights stopped working, was pulled over with no ticket. Had to stop for the night and it put me a day behind. I have rented and purchased from this location. This was the worst experience I have had at this store. I also wanted to note that employee #2 was helpful when employee #1 was not around, he seemed relieved not to be around employee #1. Not sure if I will continue to use unaltered with other options available and where I and my party are treated like crap.
The online check in was a waste of time. I still had to do everything over whrn I hot to the store.

The address for the drop off provided initially was a shopping with no signage for U-Haul. This was confusing and led me to go to the acrtual location used.
Perhaps train employees not to be cocky or arrogant to your customers, both interactions with the same employee were terrible, and in the case of a pandemic, correct adherence to safety guidelines should be followed and absolutely was not. Over two visits, on different days, not one employee was wearing a mask when in doors and assisting customers, all of whom were wearing proper PPE. I have worked in retail management and leadership for 20 years, from what I witnessed, clearly taking care of your business (customers) is not a priority for the supervisors of the Bruns Lane location. Overall, a VERY poor customer experience.
Although I had made a reservation and checked in online there was still a 30 minute wait before getting the truck. There were only two staff members working, I think they need additional support. One of the customers in front of me had reserved a 26ft truck but the staff member had put them down for 20ft so getting that person set with a truck and trailer to accommodate their needs took longer.
