seat belt did not work properly, truck at every fill up required an additional quart of oil. Truck had 144,000 miles and needed attention before placed in service. Had trouble returning unused boxes as well.

As I have said in my other reviews, I will NEVER use Uhaul again. They helped making my move incredibly difficult and more money and time because of the run around I received. I will share my experience with others and warn them off of Uhaul.

Discovered a blown fuse in my truck which controlled my left turn signal. U-Haul replaced the fuse at no charge. Really good people. I recommend them fully.

They were training a new girl, which is all good, but the trainers left her alone so the wait was longer than normal. Trailer lights were not checked because it seemed there was a situation more important going on. This is the first issue I've ever had with this store, and I would still recommend them to anyone.

I had rented a 26 feet Uhaul truck from Pasadena, TX, and the passenger seat belts did not work. Uhaul should be checking the seat belts to make sure they are fully accessible and functional before they rent their trucks out, but unfortunately they do not. Who knows what else they are not checking. Are they checking the brake fluids, the tire pressures? If they can’t even check the seat belts, they are probably not checking these other important safety features. The location of the pickup was below. U-HAUL CO 3536 RED BLUFF RD PASADENA,TX 77503 (713) 475-9291 The master order number is 85265919 and truck number was JH1796B. Both the middle passenger and window passenger buckles were shoved under the seats and it was impossible for me to shove it back up from under the seat. The middle passenger seat belt was also tangled up with the buckles so it could not be pulled from under the seat. I’m only 5 ft 2 inches and could not reach the buckles under the seats. I called customer service and they said I can have one of the Uhaul workers confirm this issue when I drop it off in Springdale, Arkansas. Customer service said they will give me a discount once it’s confirmed. My wife and child had to find another ride because the passenger seat belts weren’t functioning. We had to pay for the car plus gas. When I dropped the truck off in Springdale, Arkansas, the Uhaul worker who checked the truck in, who was also much taller than me, was able to shove the passenger seat belt buckles back through the hole. Either he was taller or had more experience working with these seat belts so he was successful in bending the buckle straps and inserting them into the small hole in the back of the seat. I tried for 30 minutes to bend the straps and/or move the buckles in all directions to force it back up through the hole but could not. When Uhaul customer service called to confirm if the seat belts had any issues, the Uhaul worker told them it was working just fine. Customer service then denied my discount. I am disappointed in your customer service and request a discount or else I will publish my experience all over the internet. I will also be contacting my credit card company to refund my payment because Uhaul rented out a faulty piece of equipment to me. The closest analogy I can give is that if the brakes don’t work due to low brake fluid and we get into an accident, Uhaul will claim that after they filled the brake lines with fluid, the brakes worked just fine, so Uhaul should not be liable for any damages. This was the same case with the seat belt issue I had with Uhaul. The Uhaul worker was able to shove the buckles back from under the seat and then claimed it was working properly. Uhaul then claims that it does not owe any compensation to me because the seat belts worked just fine. How can Uhaul not even check to make sure the seat belts are accessible and working properly on their trucks? If Uhaul is this carele

The employees at the center were very friendly but there were a few problems. One, the fuel tank was less than full - two gallons. took a picture of the fuel gauge before leaving the lot and can send them to an address if provided one.. Two, they forgot to give me the furniture dolly. When i got to my destination I had to return to U-Haul to get the dolly - shouldn't be any charge. Last, the rubber on the dolly's wheels fell off of two wheels and wouldn't stay on. I think the rubber was worn and stretched and needed to be replaced.

Local U-Haul Service Center was excellent in every way. The online reservation system however needs work. Finding a vehicle gave info on vehicles which were not available. Calling customer service to make the reservation was also problematic. I was supposed to receive a text or phone call which I never received. Also when I reviewed my reservation online, my name was incorrect as well as the scheduled pick up time was wrong. I had to make another call to a different Customer Service rep to get this straightened out.

Representative did not offer to show me anything about the truck, not even how to open the overhead door. Rep changed the mileage in the system to the correct vehicle mileage off the odometer, but the system did not properly record it and at the destination they charged me for miles I should not have had to pay for.

Vehicle windshield was filthy. No excuse. I came days before to reserve vehicle providing necessary information but when i went to pick vehicle up process took way to long. The vehicle itself was great except for the filthy windshield. Need to improve on operational details

$1 a mile seemed excessive, though I know that I agreed to it. And the check-in process was long and tedious after a hard day of work. I had thought that having a uhaul would make moving much better for a short move, but this taught me that it's better to use a pick-up truck. And if the move is too far for that, then we just need to hire someone to do it for us. Uhaul is too expensive.

Very easy drop off at this location. I just had to drive up and leave the vehicle. The attendant did a few things then sent me an email receipt. Very smooth operation.

There seemed to be a process issue with checking in equipment. The dealer was not sure what equipment was available and where the guys were. Did resolve the issue, howeve, to locate available equipment.

Reserved a 10' truck, but was given a 15' truck. I know they were the same price, but I would have preferred driving the smaller truck, especially in Dallas traffic.

I called to see if there was a truck and dolly available for me to rent while I was on my way to that store. I was told yes by the employee I was speaking with. I said good I am pulling in your parking lot right now and will be inside in a minute. I got inside and there was nobody to help me for at least 15 mins befor I even saw a employee. Tried to look up the reservation I had just made and it was never made and there was neither any trucks or dollys available for at least 2 days. Wtf

The U-Haul we rented was clean and smelled good. The representatives explained everything to us and was friendly. There need to be more workers on days toward the end of the month. There was 2 guys working and I waited 15 mins to be helped. Also, there wasn’t enough trucks available so my original reservation time was moved to accommodate
