If same day rentals have a 4 or 6 hour limit then don’t allow the person booking to choose longer time limits. Or be more explicit and up front with details regardedIng rental length vs having them in fine print. James handled all issues well

When I did my return at 6PM Jim the manager was by far the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in my life. I had a 27' foot truck and wasn't certain where.ti park it. I saw a small car pull up and thought it was an employee so I knocked on the door. Apparently Jim the manager lives there and went off on me for knocking on the door that is part of the Uhaul facility... I had no idea and apologized numerous times but he wouldn't let it go and lectured me up and down about him living there. I was actually fearful for my safety and almost called foraw enforcement to intervene, that's how bad it was. I asked for his name and he told me he was "Jim the manager" and to include it in my review. I have NEVER been treated so badly. I was a law enforcement officer for 20 years and in my opinion this guy is a ticking timebomb ready to go off! U-haul needs to do something with him.

All was good. I had pretty much given up on UHaul with my last experience that was at the 1960 location. That location had/has an issue with integrity. This location was totally the opposite. James and his ladies were great. They should go to the 1960 location and teach that guy a customer service and tell the truth class.

I had no problems at all with the location; however, when I arrived and began the check in process with your online service I was booted out of the system and given a message that said, “there was an error on our end; we’re fixing it. Please try again later.” So that’s what I did.... I waited a few minutes, then I tried again; but this time when I tried to check in it only gave me the option to “return my truck” and I hadn’t even began the process to get the keys... so I tried to chat with someone through your online service but no one responded... So I then called customer service since my reservation was at 7pm after the location was already closed, and I was placed on hold for up to 30 minutes. I had to be to rooms to go by 8:30pm to pick up my furniture and it was now getting very close to 8pm. Thankfully, JAMES came out of the office (after office hours) and assisted me PROMPTLY! He got me the keys and got me out of there with just enough time for me to get to the store to get my belongings while I was still on hold with customer service... no thanks to anyone but James for helping me. Had he not been there I would have had to get a bigger truck than I needed and would have had to pay more money than anticipated. Even though James saved me with the truck, I requested an appliance dolly in which I was charged for, however there was no dolly in the truck at all, and this was the second time I paid for a dolly that I did not receive. I want a refund for the two Dollies I paid for and I would also appreciate some type of compensation for your companies lack of professionalism in this situation. I would also like for James to be praised by your company for his amazing customer service. I expect to hear back from a representative ASAP with a description of how James and I will be compensated. Instructions for online check-in and pick up were confusing. Was asked to wait in line even when instructions said 'dont wait in line'. Perhaps staff needs to be trained that customers checking online are expecting otherwise.

Tag this location as not being Express. I paid in advance online thinking it was a App pickup and it was not allowed. Owner is a little condescending but helpful. RECOMMENDATION: If a customer advise they don't want insurance, no story is required by store manager/owner about another customer bad experience of an accident in your truck to force getting insurance. Overpriced (owner required the insurance that I declined online) Truck smelled of urine I signed that the gas was full but actually was not. Returned it with more gas than I received I rented a furniture dolly and the owner placed it in the back on its wheels. Every time we stopped it crashed against my seat and scared the shut out of me. Owner had every ding/dent marked with a sharpie before we left (had to add 6 x marks) realized quickly not to trust this facility Drop off took too long Way overpriced....should have paid my neighbor to move my chair..... Actual office smelled of mold...I have a mold allergy
