I was scheduled to get a hitch installed Oct. 4 at noon. I arrived and was told that no one ordered the necessary part. The manager scrambled to find the part at a nearby store. While he was calling around, he told me that if he was not able to find the part, I would have to figure out another way to transport my belongings. I had this appointment scheduled for two weeks prior. In my view, it was his/U-Haul's responsibility to "figure out another way." When the manager found the necessary part, he told me to come back the following morning (Oct. 5) at 7 am. I returned the next morning, and was told the hitch installer would not be arriving until 12:30 pm. This was very distressing, as I was originally supposed to pick up the trailer Oct. 5 at 8 am and hit the road later that morning. Due to U-Haul's incompetence, my cross-country trip was delayed by a full day.

The tire on the trailer was partially bald that should have been addressed beforebi was hooked up and ready to go.

1: The cargo van was not ready on time. We had to wait for 45 minutes for it to arrive. 2: The gas gauge was below a quarter of a tank. 3: The wheeled cart for moving was not in the cargo van. 4: I had to argue with the employee about the starting time on returning the van. Trying charge me extra for gas and I had to prove to him that the van wasn’t ready when we arrived. It seem everyone who worked there had no idea what they needed to do.

I would never use U-Haul again. Very disorganized. Went to pick up the trailer that I reserved 2 weeks in advance and confirmed over the phone. Went to go pick up and was told to go to another U-Haul location. When we arrived there we were told they did not have our trailer and the person who was to bring back did not return it yet and was told it would be 4 hours or more. Then they check another location and found one so we have to drive to 3rd location!!! This made our schedule for leaving 2 hours off schedule . I feel if the person did not return on time it was up to U-Haul to bring trailer from other location to the place we were to pick up from. Very disappointed ??

I waited 25 minutes to turn my truck in not enough staff

1st in line for my 7am pick up time. The manager of the store opened the doors LATE! @7:08. He was the ONLY associate as approx 6-7 more customers stood in line. It took over 40 minutes to process and get me on my way! He told me the truck smelled terrible and that he would not charge me a cleaning fee. He did not note it. I specifically asked for 24/hour rental (1) when I called direct to make the reservation (2) when I called to question why my email did not reflect 24 hour rental, and (3) again when processing rental; yet it was not reflecting on my paperwork. So I had to call and sit on hold for a lengthy wait to get it all notated properly. The truck had such a terrible odor that we had to spray Lysol multiple times to no avail, and then buy little tree air fresheners to mask the smell. It was atrocious and honestly smelled like human waste and nearly made both of us vomit! Then at return time, the app was a complete waste of time and did not work!

Horrible experience!! Slowest moving human beings I’ve ever seen in my life. No initaitive or hustle to get thru the very long line. It took me an hour and 20 min waiting in line to pick up my truck that had been pre-reserved. Unexceptable! I had a moving crew of 10 on the clock that I had to pay for doing nothing while I waited in line.

For one fix the computer issues and hire more people to work the counter on a weekend. I shouldn't have to walk around the truck to inspect it either. Other then that the people were nice

The customer service was not great. I waited in line for awhile and then was told they may not have a truck for me. When we did get our truck we found that there was a gas leak. Overall we were not satisfied with our experience.

When I made the original reservation I was supposed to pick up in Spokane and drop off in Cheney. when I went to drop off and Cheney the next day at 3 p.m. as in the contract I had they had no reservation of a drop off and told me I was going to have to pay $300 to drop it off there. So we took it back to Spokane where they claimed they were going to charge us $300 to drop it off there nobody had any clue where this trailer was supposed to go. I had to talk to 3 different people on the phone before it would get accepted at Spokane location. the original lady who took my phone call transfer me to file a complaint from there I had to talk to somebody in scheduling this whole thing was a cluster f**k and I'm not happy.
