Nice guy but caused a lot of issues. A lot of errors in the data entry. Made us meet him a day early (though he gave an extra day for free, but we didn't need it). Put my personal address as the drop off location address on the contract. Took an hour and a half to process everything. Charged us extra for tow dolly (no combination discount) and had to call uhaul to refund it. Tow dolly had broken light when he gave it to us but we didn't have time to change it.

Javier ZThis was by far the worst experience I have ever had renting U-Haul equipment. This dealership gives U-Hall a bad name. This was the ideal location to rent a U-Haul truck since the house was just a few blocks away and I will need to rent again shortly but I will never rent from this location. I first contacted this location at around11:30 a.m. and was told he would be at the location to rent me the truck at around 5 p.m. Around 6 pm I called again and the number was out of service. Around 7 pm I went to the location and saw another number which I called and I was told that he was an hour and a half away but he promised he would be there. We took the furniture and boxes and put them on the lawn while we were waiting to get the truck. We went to the dealership to wait and he finally arrived at the location around 10 p.m. He indicated that he was doing me a favor to rent me the truck. If he had told me in the beginning that he was out of town working and couldn't rent me the truck I could have tried another location. His attitude and customer service is totally lacking. . Charles HUHaul failed us from the start. From not having a truck for us despite our reservation, to passing us from site to site trying to find one, to finally having us have to drive over an hour to get somewhere that did have a much larger truck than we'd ordered a day later than it was reserved for. At that point, we simply grabbed the truck when it was finally available and didn't even ask why the cab was dirty with the leftovers of whoever had rented it before and the truck was scratched. We didn't even get the receipts to show how much we were charged until AFTER we returned the truck and someone emailed them to us. We also ended up paying more in gas for a larger truck and missing an expensive day of paid contract work. Apparently this is common practice with UHaul at the end of each month and I'm only glad we talked to the actual sites as we went because apparently internet reservations are worth even less than our phone ones which weren't worth anything to start with. The only highlight of the entire ordeal was how easy turning the truck in after hours was and how friendly and helpful the return site was. This was pulling teeth the entire way through and just like pulling teeth it turned out to be much more expensive by the end than the estimate at the beginning had been.
