Equipment and the ground staff are fine... It's their freakin management, especially that general manager.. What a jerk.. the worst attitude.. He may not care, since he's the "general manager", but I would hope customer service is important to the company he represents.. Sucks to think like this, but maybe my race or something.. Not the first time I deal with him, so I figures it's time to say something..

First time using after hours check in. Seemed a little strange that after taking a photo of myself and my drivers license, and then the same for my husband, that I was asked to supply another person to be contacted while I waited for confirmation. I don’t see how that is beneficial at all. My sister in law did not answer her phone as she didn’t recognize the number, so I was told via the conversation to call her ask her to answer the phone. Just a very bizarre way to handle the check in. Still cannot figure out how that was beneficial to UHaul in any way. And if I had decided on a much later pick up, would you all still try to contact someone who would probably be sleeping? Plus the fact that it was extremely cold and windy while I waited and had to keep taking pictures of everything did not help the situation.

The unit roof has a leak somewhere. It rain while I was traveling and my expensive rug got wet. Other than that everything else went smoothly.

This location was amazing!!! This wasn't my original reservation spot but finding this place on my way to a second location, this was a welcome inconvenience. The staff was accomidating, apologetic, and it wasn't their fault. They really made the company look good after I was totally disappointed by the running around to different locations. The staff that day saved you a customer. Please show them some appreciation.

Online my experience was great. I was able to secure my truck within 15 minutes at a location convenient to me. My poor experience began when I arrived at the location. There were 2 men working, one greeted me promptly which was acknowledged and appreciated. However, this employee was helping another customer and I dealt with the other gentleman. He seemed irritated that he had to help me in general. He wasn't friendly, he didn't look at my order in detail because I had prepaid for a queen sized matteress bag and I was charged again for that merchandise; which I didn't realize until after I was on the way back. He assumed I didn't know that I had to return the truck to the same location and his attitude in addressing it to me was completely unprofessional and condescending. It seemed like he would have rather be anywhere than helping me. I was polite, I ignored the blatant lack of customer care because I was in a hurry to get going and I have more important things things to do than argue with your hourly employee over simple customer service; which would have accomplished nothing at the time. I paid, hauled my load and was wanting to pay my mileage excess and dispute the recharge for the mattress bag. The location closed at 7pm according to their website. I called at 6:50 and remained on hold until 7:10. I understand that more than likely he same individuals who were there at 9am were not there at 7pm. But unfortunately, this was another strike against the store because whoever was working chose to not answer the phone and probably wanted to go home "on time." As a General Manager of a business myself, I was extremely disappointed in U-haul's customer service. Although they chose to not answer the phone and charge me twice for the same merchandise without me having an opportunity to contact them during business hours, they made sure my mileage overage was charged first thing the next morning. I am aware that this comment is posted for public viewing and normally I don't leave negative feedback but I felt that the individual I had the coincidence of dealing with did not represent your company well and you needed to be aware.

The truck hood was unlatched the entire trip. The Uhaul employee doing the trip pre-check must have forgotten to re-secure the latches on each side. Also, the truck I requested was not available due to the previous customer not returning it on time. I had to return the next day to get a truck. Uhaul did nothing to help me through the issue.

Sat morning when I picked up the rental truck the line was pretty long and took some time because there was only one employee running the register. Having said that, the employee on the register exceeded expectations and worked quickly and efficiently using two registers while communicating with the other staff on his radio and everything went smoothly. Ku Dos to him. The truck was clean and ran well and the rest of the staff was friendly. My only suggestion would be to give your man up front some support at least in the weekends when there will likely be more people moving. Thanks for the service- I’ll use y’all again -dc

The van was straight out of 1975, though brand new, had ALL MANUAL LOCKS, MANUAL mirrors, NO BACK UP CAMERA. I'll be going back to Enterprise going forward.
