The rental is typically 24 hours and although that's the case I did feel like I was being rushed to have it back asap, which I understand and the person that rented it to me apparently put down a return time of 6 hours. I don't appreciate being called at 7am wanting to know when it will be back being that 24 hours from my contract was 3pm. I feel you can estimate about how long you need it but if you are still within your 24 hours you should not be bothered.

Reservation was screwed! I arrive to pick up my trailer I had reserved (and I received an email confirmation), and they don't have a trailer! Can't find the reservation! How does this happen! They even took my Credit Card info over the phone when I made the reservation. Took almost 45 minutes to get in and get out.

I use U-Haul equipment almost every month. I went to this location for a first time and your associate name Jabbar Akif or something drove me crazy both at pickup time and dropping time. I told him I’m in a hurry and I checked in online to prevent waiting as you recommend in your website but he said I should do that and kept me there for 25 minutes. He did all the weird stuff I never saw anyone do at U-Haul. I was always a satisfied customer with U-Haul but my last experience was a nightmare, I felt he knows I’m in a rush and he did that deliberately to get in my nerve! I’m not saying he was rude or so, actually he was very polite but as a manager myself I would never hire someone like him at my store! Payam Larestani

While this location is closest to our home, we typically travel a little farther to the store on Hewatt Road, where the staff seems a little more organized. We've been in the Scenic Highway store before, and couldn't get anyone to wait on us when we wanted to buy moving supplies. This visit was satisfactory, the attendant courteousness and conscientious. We still like the Hewatt store better, easier to get in and out of the parking lot. It's just that Hewatt didn't have what we wanted this time.

At this location ( scenic hwy ) I felt like a criminal taking pictures of my drivers license front & back wow ! & to top it off they called my secondary phone number to see if it's really need like I rented trucks from Uhaul numerous times and I never had to go through this foolishness I always returned Uhaul equipment on time , with the gas as the way they gave it to me , never damaged their equipment so there was no need for all the extra-Ness I will not be doing business at the ( scenic hwy ) location anymore ??????

The staff at this location were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful absolutely wonderful people so for that 5 stars (excellent). The reason I gave it an average score was due to the fact I stood in line for ~ 1.5 hours (arriving at 9:30 a.m.). There was only one person working that morning (a second came at 11 a.m.) and that caused the wait time to be extended. My issue was I had movers coming (10:30 a.m.) to help unload the Uhaul into storage, but I couldn't do that until checking in and unhitching the trailer. I thought I got there earlier enough to check in, the movers arrived while I was standing in line for the last 1/2 hour. It all worked out in the end and the staff was polite so I don't want to take away from that. However, I think they should look into having back up staff if others aren't available.

I only used the truck for a few hours went to pick up a bed and bring it home .I was charged way way way to much and will never use uhsil again 19.00 truck and spent 85.00 not including gas that's ridiculous

The inside has a very bad smell that made me sick on my stomach. So I was not able to use the truck as I should. No discount for military or senior. On top of that I have been charged for fuel that I didn’t use. The truck was brought back on the level it was . And today I will be visiting the office. The truck was almost empty when I received it and it was not driven much because I was sick from the smell in truck

I stood in line for 2 hours EXACT ! Only for me to get to the cash register and the manager was the one “helping” me only he had NO answers to ANY of my questions. After standing in line that long and he couldn’t help me with anything i ended up doing it online and he just gave me the key and i had so many questions and he said once you do it online it has nothing to do with us so call customer service. I showed him the confirmation and he said yes this is your truck inspect it and you’re good to go. I left with the truck and and this man call my phone over 10 times saying there’s nothing in the system showing that this truck is out basically trying to say we took it without having a reservation. Which in that case would be his fault because i showed him everything from online and he was not interested in looking he just handed over the keys and went back inside the store. Anyways after i finished with the truck i brought it back to the drop off location and then kept getting more calls saying that the truck was never dropped off and there’s still no reservation in the system. Meanwhile i have a recorded conversation sent to me from uhual customer service confirming the reservation and everything. This manager had no patience and when he realized he made a mistake by not hearing me out and taking time to check the reservation he tried to convey his own behind by making it seem like i stole the truck and telling me that he would send my info over to police. Anyways i got everything sorted out with customer service and thennnn a few days later i see a SECOND charge from uhual ! For another 100+ dollars. What is wrong with this manager ! Does he know anything !? Wow. This was just the worse experience ever and it really gave me a bad migraine dealing with this guy that had noooo answers for me.

Worker that checked my truck back in was upset about actually having to do work. Talked about fighting other employees and customers for returning their equipment 30 minutes before closing time. Then got mad when i asked for a printed receipt.

I was very dissapointed that there was only one store sales rep with a line of people. This should never be the case considering weekends are heavy moving days. Lastly I do not like that U-haul charges the customer a dollar per mile when its already the customer's responsibility to replace the fuel used to operate the equipment. This is unacceptable. I have giving this company business for years. I will not be back. Thank you.
