Gave me a 20ft first for all the 15ft was taken. Could not use the 20ft because get the truck behind my house. Took the truck back and had a cancel 15ft truck that let me use. They employees was very helpful.

I was told a total amount at the end of the entire process, which I paid, but then I was charged a late on a total that l was unaware of. I would suggest that you disclose any additional fees as part of the total so people aren't surprised by what's taken out of their accounts.

The uhaul app does not work. It's cumbersome. There are steps that should be done before so pick up is easier. That doesn't matter though bc the locater function didn't work for me or the staff person on-site. The truck itself was a rough ride + 8mpg + $1 per mile = U-haul not a value anymore.

The U-haul website was THE MOST PAINFUL EXPERIENCE!! It was as about as clear as MUD. I went through all the gyrations of updating my profile and credit card info for NO REASON! Apparently you cannot express check out a local rental which is STUPID in 2018!! The hierarchy at U-haul need to get there head out of the 1960's and join the new way to do business. Technology is driving all of our business today and there no reason that I can pay for a cross country move but not a local one online!! I could go on but this review it will go unnoticed. On the the Customer Service from the Vendor that had the truck, Compass Self Storage 2350 Atlanta Rd Smyrna, GA 30080, the person on duty was supposed to close at 3pm on Sunday but after talking with me on the phone she stayed open just for me an extra 45 minutes to help rectify the issues I was have via the U-haul website and get a truck!! 10 stars to her and her only!!! I believe her name was Melanie.

The truck was clean, but the thing ran and handled poorly. It stalled several times and had difficulty with cold idle. Not to mention the exhaust smelled of "drastically needing a tuneup"

I rented a truck a big one but it was really hard to turn so I came back and told the Lady and she was rude about it she told me I will take it for a spin and when she came back she was really sarcastic about bragging that she could drive it with no problems so I told the Lady that I will not take that truck and it look like she got really mad about that so the same lady try to take the truck to the back and she could not turned (same problem with me) and long story short the lady hit another truck 4 times trying to turn this one around I was surprised that I gat charged almost 80 dollars for a truck that I only use like 5 minutes.

I had to hook up the trailer to my car myself without any help from the company. I have rented lots of trailers from u haul and never had to hook one up myself. I knew how to handle but would be very concerned about safety for others that are not knowledgeable about trailers. If the hitch is not connected securely and the chains attached correctly, then the trailer becomes a true hazard on the road. Plus they didn’t check to see if the lights and break lights were working together. It ended up being fine for me but is a risky way to run a business.

I went in to tell the agent that I was retuning the truck a day early. She made me take the boxes out the truck when there was a clearly marked sign that says to do so if you are finished with them so another customer can. While I was outside doing that, she finished authorized my card that I didn't want to pay with for the extra day anyway. She blamed it on the system and gave me a receipt that was supposed to show a reversal. Now I have close to a $250 charge that shouldn't be there because she was too busy rushing to get back to her cellphone.

staff had trouble with the computer so pick up took a long time. did not get opportunity to review truck in advance. found it to be surprisingly old and creaky with off and on red warning lights on the dash for coolant and ABS. Should be retired.

Maintenance of vehicles is extremely important especially when someone is carrying all of their household worldly possessions. This truck almost turned over on more than one occasion. It do not have handle simple terms.
