The truck was parked where it was nearly impossible to back out. It was in a space between two cars and then there was a truck parked horizontally behind the truck.
Cheryl BI selected "Yes" stating the equipment was clean and well maintained which is was, BUT there was a great amount of hair on the seats (driver and passenger) and the steering wheel was sticky (maybe from the cleaning solution used to wipe it down before the next customer's use). If this location (as well as others) can see to it that things like this is clear, that would be great. The representative that assisted me was great and very helpful.

ALFREDO IThe online process is completely broken and bereft of any meaningful benefit. I would have saved over an hour coordinating to pick up and drop off in person. Even the Booking was completely wrecked. It didn't send a message to the helpers I had booked. It always defaulted to evening even though they had availability on am and afternoon. When I tracked them down online they hadn't even received a notification. Days later I tried again - couldn't pay. Many times couldn't pay. You wasted so much of my time. That is before I even arrived to the cluster f@ck that was picking up via "mobile" technology. Who drives around with their lease and passport. This is such a Kilkenny will use uhaul as an example of failed technology integrations when teaching college classes.

JAMES JThose are by far the rudest workers I've ever met. Overcharging and paid extra for gas because the odometer is broken on the car. Workers were not helpful and both have very unfriendly attitudes. I would never ever recommend this location to anyone. Worst experience ever.

STEVEN GI didn't get everything I requested but I was still charged for it. I got charged extra for keeping the truck longer, but I had to wait over an hr for roadside assistance to come becaus her truck wouldn't start.
Leviticus BThe button to start the 24/7 pickup is way too hidden and not intuitive to start. I had to call the help line to figure it out. I even clicked the green tab at the bottom a couple times before calling and it did not work. So button size is too small. Just in my experience. Also the app crashed through the return process while going from portrait to landscape then the reservation disappeared from my list after bottling the app back up.

John GSeat belt was broken & came flying off the wall when I was on the highway. Screw hit me in the back. I almost wrecked & would have died with no seat belt. When I told the customer service agent at the desk she could have cared less & just said we didn't know. They obviously don't maintain there vehicles & they are not safe. Do NOT rent from them!!

The system to make the reservation sucks and the app crashed when I tried to return my truck. When I tried to open the app halfway through guy returning, my reservation disappeared so I had to call customer service to finish the return. People were great, please do something about the terrible systems.

Abdul RI wouldn't recommend location for large trucks. There is no easy way to drive into this facility's with out risking damage to vehicle. But staff was great.
Alan VThe truck was in need of preventative maintenance. Low tire pressure indicator and towing warning lights were illuminated during initial walk around and review. I was told it's a known issue yet I was still issued the truck. Concerning. The driver seat was also busted.

Matthew HPicked the truck up on empty - as in u sure if I would make it to the gas station. Plus had to refill it back at a quarter of a tank. Not knowing what type of gas to put into a vehicle that isn't yours is frustrating. I reviewed the packet given to me, and finally googled it. Then got charged a $20.00 after hours fee because I was never told to complete the electronic check in. Nothing on the key box said to, nor was it disclosed when I picked it up. I took a photo of me dropping the key into the box at 9:34 am - no where to attach to this email though. Plus I was charged $10.73 for supposedly extra mileage when nothing was documented to confirm this to be case by the person at the desk. She just reprinted the receipt which is where I found the after hours fee. Nothing on the receipt verifying the extra mileage either. All she said was "I'm sorry" with no let me see what I can do, l to help. Or to even verify when I covered my bases with the I donation I had because she failed to disclose properly. Overall frustrating that I'm being nickled and dimed for things that I am doing the work to do correctly.

Gregory SKaren was very welcoming and helpful. It was my first experience renting a Uhaul vehicle, and she made it easy and made me comfortable with the process. I was honestly expecting a worse/mediocre experience however: the truck was clean and ready (Karen held my reservation even though someone had arrived earlier to claim that particular sized vehicle--and I was a bit late) and there were no operational issues with the vehicle. I had to use the Uhaul app to extend my time slot by 4 hours and I wasn't charged any extra. I had a few hiccups with the return process while using the app. Other than that, the experience was pretty painless.

Kim WThis U-Haul experience was Poor for me due to U-Haul waiting until 1 Hour before my scheduled pick-up time to start sending me texts that my reserved truck and location were unavailable. I made the reservation 8 days in advance so there was more that enough time for U-Haul to handle this much better than they did. This Compass Self Storage of Smyrna location is OK but certainly nothing special in any way.

Deborah WI dropped off vehicle cleaner than when I picked it up. Trash was still in cab from previous leasee. Truck box had not been swept out. Gas was less than 3/8 full, I left vehicle with more gas than when I left. Light on vehicle dash alerted us to low air pressure on RR tire. Had to stop, fill up with gas and fill tire before I could even get going. On leaving the vehicle after hours, Uhaul app was not working, I did have location turned on. I tried on app and on mobile website. Still did not work. Was on hold for 30 minutes until CS rep assisted me. I have rented from UHaul many times, just over the last year or two, because of convenience and necessity. But I think I have made up my mind to purchase another means of transportation when I need to haul something.
Anthony AParking is very limited. There is pretty much nowhere to park until you move the truck out.
Davis OPlease have customer service contact me about my reservation!! I was not pleased with the maintenance of the truck and the vehicle was also dirty. During my move, I shouldn't have to continuously try to start up a vehicle because it's having mechanical issues.
