Great service. Michael was very helpful as we were using a car hauler trailer for the first time. When we first got the truck I asked about the 1 month free unit offer and the guy who was checking us in wasn't too keen on researching that for us. When I continued to ask about he called a number in a token effort to find out. The then just told us to look up U-Haul storage units at our point of drop-off. We ended up not needing the unit anyway. Also, he told me if we dropped truck off with less gas then when we started with it would be $4.50 a gallon. However, he never told me if under a quarter tank it will be a additional $35 charge. So when I dropped truck off with just under a quarter tank at the Vallejo location the guy there told me about the $35 charge. I ended up going and putting a couple gallons to avoid the charge. Not a huge deal, but a inconvenience after traveling so many miles. Thank you

This was the most frustrating experience I've ever had w/ UHaul! The 2 guys helping me didn't know what they were talking about, made me buy a 2" ball although I told them I was told in CO before I left the trailers can take a 1 7/8, 2, or 2 1/8 ball. In fact, after arriving home, I saw a tag on the trailer tongue stating exactly what I said about the ball size. We also had discussions about using an impact wrench to attach the ball and the exterior condition of the VERY old trailer we rented. Fortunately, the equipment was clean inside and worked fine. Bottom line is the move went smoothly, the trailer worked fine and the staff in Simi Valley was uninformed and very haughty when dealing with me. I am requesting a refund of the cost of the new 2" ball I purchased since I did not need it.

My experience was perfect. They had my truck ready exactly on the time it was supposed to be check in and leave was very quick they were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this location to a friend who needs to rent a truck or any other equipment that they have

Pre-registration online at U-Haul did not allow for pre-payment of the equipment rental with a valid credit card. This was an inconvenience. The email confirmation did not indicated that the pickup address had changed, so we showed up to the original preferred address to pick up the equipment, only to find that they were closed on Sunday. The facility owner where we did pick up the equipment was rude when we were delayed by 1.5 hours to pick up the equipment. He later became courteous and was fine. The equipment and hookup was excellent and trouble-free. The price was extremely competitive.

Truck reserved not available. No communication between workers. Was told we failed to return truck which was a mistake and then told we forgot to return dolly which was also a mistake on their part. Very bad experience. Would use Budget next time.

The night before, the employee stated that all the trucks were targeted and all the gasoline was siphoned out of them. I would think you would have fencing (high enough) to avoid this type of vandalizing.

The process of was a bit painful. The place was fairly busy and understaffed considering it was a Saturday. After waiting in line for 30 mjn I was asked to inspect the car and to come back in to get my receipts. After waiting in line for several minutes ago I decided to leave without my receipt. I recommend trying to figure it a structure to work with. Associate who helped us with was nice and knowledgeable. Other thing I would suggest that for customers who actually take the time to check in after website states that time will be cut in half is not true. It took just as long due to information having to be verified again.

They gave me a trailER that had three of the tires worn down where the treads are actually illegal. Every time I am there, they are most unfriendly and most In helpful doing only the minimum, and I have rented for a year now

The truck alignment was slightly off and pulled to the left My complaint was after spending over 225 dollars for a one day rental, they determined I owed a gallon and a half of gas, I told them I brought the truck back at the same gauge position. Charged me an additional 7.50 I made sure to check truck was at same level , anyways real nickel and dime way to run a business, person had a lousy disposition

The manager there was very, very pleasant, was meticulous about every detail while still getting things done in an efficient and speedy manner. Excellent manager who also seemed to be doing all the real work. I feel bad for him when I saw the non-helpful underlings working for him (other woman on register was on her cell phone and doing her nails and another worker, bit of a creepy guy, was slow moving and only asking about everyone else's schedule in an attempt to make his own questionable plans).

Allow the use of prepaid debit cards as not everyone has a credit card or bank account. Also tell your managers not to lecture people about needing to get a real bank account. That is none of their business.
