I tried using the UHaul App. Very frustrating. It kept telling me I timed out just 10 seconds after sending me a verification code. I had to try it four times before it worked. The guys at the store were fine, but because the app was so awful, I saved no time (which was the point of using the app.) Check-in process was fine.


Get another associate. The other guy was working so hard. And he was by himself.


Reserved a 10' was "upgraded" to a larger truck since 10' trucks were all rented. The only thing upgraded was Uhaul's wallet. They dinged me for the larger truck. Approx. $70 vs. approx. $30. Nice racket.

Just remember that the customer service guy that's doing the work when a customer has to scan six different credit cards to check out there might be an issue with the guy with the credit cards and if somebody's waiting in line to call somebody else to help check out people

I just have nothing to say but good about my experiences with UHaul. Employees/service is excellent. Employees are knowledgeable and responsive and very polite. Equipment for rent is reasonably priced and great value I have never had an equipment failure Uhaul is reliable and scheduling/reservation always comes through, never late nor missed Perhaps I have been fortunate but I believe Uhaul is very well run and that's the reason for my good experience Can't beat great value on several hitch installs I've had done on multiple vehicles Availability to tow trailers on more vehicles than. Other rental yards because of built in braking systems on trailers. I can use more of my vehicles to tow Returning equipment is completely pain free.


Your “you get our best price based on the actual usage” is a fantastic benefit, I had to keep the truck and trailer twice as long as I had planned. You automatically shifted me to a weekly rate, saving me a lot of money. Thank you, but I think it would have been even better if you had stressed that when I started. I was so worried along the way about how much more I had to spend than what I had planned. Then, you gave me your best price based on what actually occurred. I didn't have to have worried so much. Would have been even better had I known to expect a better rate. In any event, thank you!

The truck was dirty especially the wind shield. That has happened a few times now. Drivers door didn't close all the way without slamming it. I was overcharged about 70 miles.

This location in Simi Valley was good. But the location at Hazeltine in Sherman Oaks was horrible. The service at that location was horrendous, the employee helping the customer was useless. I came for my scheduled time and the employee said that my reservation was moved to Simi Valley. 30 miles from my location. Total of 60 miles I had to drive. The employee did not help in any way make my situation easier. What if I didn't have a car? Would I have to take Uber on my dime for 30 miles? Totally unacceptable.

Apparently this is/was the ONLY two-wheel dolly in the county! Had to drive over 20 miles to get it, as the car hauler/trailer would work for what I needed. This dolly was definitely a little older, as the wheel/cargo net/straps were showing their age (well worn and frayed at the ends.) Overall it worked for what I needed. Very happy with the transaction. just wanted to mention that the straps could probably use to be replaced soon.


To Whom it may concern - I've used this location many times without incident. But this past rental (6x12 open trailer) on 12/14/2020 was horrible. It started out great with having availability of a trailer. I started out to pick up my load and after an hour the trailer experienced a blow out on one of the tires. I was on a off ramp for 4 hours with no one returning my calls or live chatting with Uhaul road side assistance. Uhaul road side took my initial call and took all of my information and said they would get back to me. After 4hours I took matters into my own hands and contacted the nearest road service. They were there in 20 minutes, changed the tire in 10 minutes and I was back on the road. I would say your Road side assistance requires a major improvement and because of the incident it makes me feel extremely unsafe using your equipment. It was dark by the time I was back on the road. So the location that I rent at probably couldn't tell that this tire was going to blow, but the trailer did have Washington plates. I'm assuming it had been driven from there. I was just the unlucky customer that had the blowout on the side of the freeway in a not so good location. It was a huge inconvenience and really sad roadside service. With a company as large as Uhaul you need to invest in better roadside assistance program to ensure the safety and security of your customer. Being that it was on the side of a freeway off ramp, in a area with nothing near it safety is a concern. Finally why the location that I rent from is still rated as good is when I returned the trailer the person that helped me detach the trailer without hesitation said he would reimburse me for the tire change that I paid out of pocket. This helps reconcile the incident and make it lees financially impacting but you will never gain the time and the feeling of being stranded and abandoned.

Reservation = great, location = great, customer service = not so great. We were treated more as an inconvenience rather than customers. When we pointed out the trailer given to us has ramp issues we were told they were all like that. Once I went around and saw that was incorrect as others were fine, I informed the two person helping us that other trailers did not have issues with them. Once that happened, we were treated as we were taking up there time and being difficult. I probably would not refer friends to this location if that is the level of customer service.


Give the customer two bottles of cold water with a " U- hual" lable on them in the cup holders in the truck.

Outstanding service. Was completed in less than 5 minutes and had receipt emailed to me. This same location booked my reservation (on Saturday) for pick-up in another state, making it extremely convenient.


I was very impressed with the young man who helped me. He had to deal with an irate online only customer who obviously didn't understand the system and was just plain rude. I give him props for his patience with the customer. I've been upset with customer service people before, but there is no reason to be rude. My experience was excellent!


I rented a trailer to haul construction debris to my local landfill. When I got the trailer loaded had pulled out of the customer's driveway I realize one of the tires on the trailer was flat. I am mediately called your customer service hotline. They called back and said that the roadside assistance company would be there within 75 minutes. After waiting 95 minutes I needed to get back to work and took the trailer to the dump anyway. When your company called back I explained exactly what happened and documented all The Times. I returned the trailer without incident and explained to the person at the store what happened. I not only lost 3 hours of work time but I also had to pay both of my helpers for that time. Your customer service rep called back about 45 minutes later and I explained what happened. Your customer service rep called back about 45 minutes later and I explained what happened. I honestly think the best thing your company could have done was reimbursed me the $32 it cost to rent the trailer for the inconvenience caused. I hope your company decides to do the right thing.


Everything went smoothly and the service was excellent. We have rented a few times at this location and will continue to rent from this location.


Customer service provided by a female (name?) was horrible. No eye contact. No guidance. Attitude was as if I was bothering her. How can she be representing a business. The cargo van was not clean on the inside or outside. Empty water bottles were found up front.

The check in process was very fast and painless which I really appreciated. I had driven over 900 miles in a couple of days and was really tired so it was nice to get the truck/trailer back quickly so I could get home, shower and get to bed. Thanks very much!
