We were refused at pickup to be able to speak to a manager when getting the U-Haul truck. The U-Haul was not clean prior to giving it to us to use. The back was littered with nitrous oxide ‘Whip It’ canisters. We had to contact the police about that due to apparent substance abuse activity taking place by the prior renter. There was confusion on the vehicle being “in-tow” vs “one-way”. We were also charged for dropping the truck off Tuesday at 2pm when we returned it on Monday after 4pm. The drop off recipient simply told us to “leave the keys on the counter”. Every step of the way we have been treated unprofessionally and have been unfairly been taken advantage of. I want a refund or I surely will not use U-Haul again and I will tell anyone I can to not use U-Haul. This is ridiculous. Unprofessional.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulI only drove the truck approximately 60 miles while I had it and got charged for 285 miles. I had the truck from 9:30 am to 2:55 pm and the truck was on empty when I got it. I put $70 worth of gas in it and filled it half a tank plus the truck was filthy dirty with trash in the cab and several loose nuts in bolts on the floor of the cargo area!
Mark WGas Guage was on empty when I got it. Several empty pop cans and bottles in cab & cigarette ashes all over the console. It smelled really awful. Driver side door didn't shut well
carmen kWhen picking up the truck the clerk told me she couldn’t bring up the uhaul website to check me in. We waited around for 45 minutes with no progress. We suggested she call someone and a gentleman from uhaul customer service checked me in over the phone. When I returned the vehicle the next day I was charged $72 dollars for “refueling”. I put exactly the same amount of gas back in as when I checked the truck out. I had to call customer service to get the charge reversed and they were extremely helpful. This is my first and last interaction with the above location and I would not ever recommend them. I have used uhaul in the past and things like this have never happened. I have nothing against the company but I will never use that location again
