A small dolly could have been included with the van making it easier to carry stuff; for me I am a woman not very strong and my boxes were very hard to carry. I had to rent a dolly sepately. You could include a small fee in the cost of the rental if you feel you are losing money by giving it with the van , truck whatever it might be.

I think if the vehicle comes back with minimal time between rentals this place is challenged to clean but. They're very good in the store they know what they're doing yet, for this order, we had to switch vans as the original one was caked in mud in drivers area and running boards.

i booked the vehicle for a 24 hour period and when i went to pick it up the agent refused to give the vehicle for a 24 hour period. when I got on the phone with uhaul customer service then she agreed and said she doesn't want any headaches and can do it for me this time. she was very rude not courteous at all. vehicle's interior was smelly and filthy dirty. she was asking too many personal questions such as where I was going and what I'm going to do with the vehicle. upon returning the vehicle she refused to accept cash as payment. also when I went to pick up the vehicle I had to wait for nearly one hour for her to give me the vehicle as she said i have to wait because she has to serve her convenience store customers first. an absolute disaster. will never ever go there again. please avoid this location. 850 Markham Rd in Scarborough. the store's name cedar hill variety.

Store representative was a fraud. My credit card was asked in correspondence to obtain a uhaul truck. In compliance i provided all documentation such as drivers license and credit card. All of a sudden after various atempts the female representative then told me that my card was invald, out of curiousity with the same card i withdrew $100. After all the paper work had been sign this female representative told me i should keep the truck at my place (driveway), this was not listed on the terms of the agreement. After all said and done the moving was successful and there werent and damages done on the truck. The gas meter was topped up back to 1/4 tank. During the time of return this representative inspected the body of the truck. And told me everything is ok and I should return later the next day to pick up an estimate of $71, I disagreed with this female representative. The time was 9:01pm. She refused to process back all the necessary paperwork. After 30 mind of trying to get back the rest of my money I then came to a conclusion; it was getting dark, therefore I left. After the next day she called 3-5 × in regard to picking up money she owed. we spoke several times. I told her I was unable to come in the morning and the afternoon thing where arranged for the night. As i arrived she then told me the bill was $130. Smh can someone tell me how in God's name does the go from 30 too 130. Becarefull everyone that lady is a fraud she collected my credit card info then scammed me for over the price after agree that everything was on clearance with the truck, begged me on the phone to pick my money up. Total fraud.

Don't give uhaul licensing to this shop owner. She was very very rude. I asked her to give insurance for uhaul and she denied saying that she is very busy with the other customers of her convenient store. I waited for 30 mins and she didn't explain the terms and conditions clearly. When I asked her to add the insurance she told me either take uhaul without insurance or she is going to cancel the booking. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Please do take some action regarding this.

Uhaul reps and trucks consistently at high level of service. Very professional and courteous. High marks for the person that made the gas amount calculator. That was excellent for return filling.

the lady over the counter was very rude, equipment's front bumper was falling apart, scratches all around the body, has light on for air pressure monitoring service.

this location is in a busy strip mall,,,,,,,,,a convenience store,,,,,,,,,other customers take preference over you, even though you were there first,,,,,,because of that you have to move the vehicle to another location in the plaza instead of right out front of the store,,,with limited parking, this moving about could result in a contact with other vehicles,,,,,,,this should be handled by the vendor

The van I rented was extremely dirty in the back. It was full of renovation dust and scraps. It was clearly not cleaned between users, and I had to clean it before I put my furniture in it. The people who rented the van to me were also quite rude throughout the process. I would never recommend this location to a friend. The cleanliness of the van and the quality of the customer service were very poor.

The employee/owner at the location was really rude when we came back to return the U-Haul van. At the time of the rental he asked how much KM we expected to drive and we said about 15 KMs. When we returned to drop-off the vehicle, we drove 14 KMs and the fuel gauge did not move. So we said we will pay for the KMs we drove and the employee/owner said he will charge us 5 litres of gas for 14 KMs and started yelling for no reason. The overall experience was horrible and we will neither recommend nor use this particular location again. Hopefully U-Haul takes an action toards this location. Thank you.

I had used u-haul multiple times but I never experienced this kind of poor costumer service. I will never recommend this location in future. Ready to pay double for rental with good costumer service. Really worst costumer service with very poor English but she knows how to speak only rude words.

THOUGH I WENT IN WITH SELF CHECKIN TO REDUCE TIME THE NEW MACHINE THAT UHAUL HAS GIVEN TO COMPLETE TRANSACTION WOULD NOT WORK PROPERLY AND HAD TO WAIT 30 MINUTES BEFORE i COULD USE THE VEHICLE. THIS CERTAINLY NEEDS TO IMPROVE.
