Make sure the windows and mirrors of the truck are clean upon pick up.
The text message with links to follow before and after were a problem. I was told, at the desk, not to bother with it then. Later, I couldn't follow the link; it had expired. When i returned the truck, i didn't know I was supposed to follow a link BEFORE I turned in the key (no one explained that). Then, I couldn't get on wi-fi and the link wouldn't work on my LTE data plan. Later, when I got home and used my own wi-fi, it wouldn't respond because I was at the wrong location. There seemed to be a threat of a $20 charge if I didn't do it right! You shouldn't assume that people know how to deal with your tech protocols. AND you should explain things before a customer leaves.

Pick up was too far away. Didn't have tow dolly. Had to drive over 2 hrs round trip to pick up. The guy was very nice at pick up.

Dropped the truck off after hours. Was never called even though I left a message to call me.
Improve the scheduling process. I Mede reservation on Monday to pick up on a Saturday. I got a call at 5:30 Friday night telling me that I would have to travel an an additional 100 miles to get the trailer I had requested. Absolutely ridiculous! This added almost 3 hours to my already 10 hour drive. If I had been contacted sooner I would have had time to alter my plans. I could have picked the trailer up on Friday instead. Not a good way to run a business!
The young man operating the store was professional, polite and helpful. Someone give him a raise!

My brother dropped Off the trailer for us because we had to go straight back. Don't have much info but he said everything went well.
The numbers on the vans were not visible, or had fallen off, making it difficult to find the right one that was reserved for me. There was also some confusion on n the website about which van would be mine, and by the time I finished the mobile checkout, someone else was given the key for the same van and drove off with it just as I was about to enter the office to collect the key.
It was very difficult to find this location. Google Maps was completely wrong. Need even bigger signs to compensate. Other than that frustration, I found the cargo van very easy to drive and load, and the staff were very nice.
The older gentleman who "greeted" me was rude and demanding. The email I received from Uhaul only gave me a date, not a time, to drop off the Uhaul truck. I figured I would drop off the truck during a normal business hour, so long as it was the date I was told to drop it off. The person who greeted me yelled, "You are late! I called you and left a message." I had just moved to Santa Cruz among some other issues that occurred and because of the world's chaos, I expected I was able to plan when I'd drop off the Uhaul truck. I experienced at this location the most hostile employee to customer experience I've ever had. The older gentleman proceeded to lecture me about the price of his location's gas despite me repeatedly saying I understood. I will not be patronized by anyone, especially an employee of a business. Not normal for Uhaul, but this place is an exception to your standard. .

Moving in itself is hard enough. There is no added stress from this location. Good customer service and the van I rented was well maintained.

The UHaul App is incompetently made. Clickable buttons wouldn't click. Customer service representatives took a long time to reply in the chat. It made me delayed by over an hour.
