Frustrated that my pick up and drop off location were both changed on me. Both were farther away than the locations I chose and after moving, the last thing I wanted to do was drive farther. Your planning should be better so that you can follow through on the locations people choos vs changing them the day before.

What you guys can do for the next customer is to make sure that they give you the dolly that you had paid for. 2nd, make sure the trucks are maintained properly and checked frequently because the uhaul that I got was shaking a lot, very high rev and for some reason it downshifts when you slow down and it will one day cause an accident. Last, theres no consideration at all even if the uhaul company made the mistake or whatever happened they can’t even apologize.

So, the young man who helped me was more than helpful and very friendly both to me and my fiancé. However, the rest of the staff were very unprofessional and downright rude; not to me but to whoever they were talking to on the phone. 2 employees were talking about a phone discussion w a customer and were cussing up a storm as they whined about the customer; or at least one was while the other was listening. They were making zero effort to keep their volume down and expressed their annoyances about customers as if they were in the break room or at a bar after work. Terribly unprofessional and unpleasant to hear. These guys need to talked to about how they present your office to the customer. Other than that, the trailer worked perfect and they got it to me right on time. Even though the trailer and service was good, why would I ever recommend this office when there is plenty of other Uhaul offices to choose from?

There was no one at the counter upon arrival, wait time was longer than necessary due to understaffing. For return, we arrived 2 minutes after hour and had to attempt online check in. We received error associating account with order number and seeked help from employee exiting the office. Employee was unhelpful and left without any guidance. Thankfully customer service phone line was able to resolve the problem for us. Return was unecessarily difficult and took too long.

I was charged for an appliance dolly and received an email confirming a dolly was reserved. When I picked up the moving van, I was told there was no appliance dolly available. This was completely unacceptable and completely ruined my plans for the day. With my apartment being on the second floor, I absolutely needed the dolly to move. I was unable to move my refrigerator which delayed my moving plans and now I will not be out of my apartment until after Thanksgiving. Please have a manager contact me to discuss how I will be compensated for this experience.

I made my appointment online on my mobile phone which had a few glitches. Got to the U-Haul Santa Ana location a little early and I knew the van in front was waiting for me which made me very happy that they were prepared. The general manager helped me and he was very thorough and explained everything I needed to know about the van rental. They also had free garment boxes in front which really came in handy for me. I did the inspection and walk through of the van with the GM and everything was fine. I returned it a little after 6 and it was so easy! I definitely would recommend it and next time I know where to go for a a big move! Thanks U-Haul for making it affordable!

i reserved my trailer for lake forest. i showed up on time and the manger there was very rude stating the reservation was for costa mesa/santa ana and nothing he could do being setup thru your call center. only to find out that the reservation came thru to him and they declined without notification. not good service. had to drive extra time out of my way which added 2 hours to my day.

I ordered a dolly and my pick up was after hours...there was no dolly in the truck which made things a real pain in the ass! Make sure that you follow the order when you go to fill it since no one is there to fix the problem!
