Everything was perfect except I didn't get a dolly
I would like a refund. Based on the fact that 45 minutes of my time were wasted waiting on roadside assistance. Only because the door would not come back down. Super frustrating was in a hurry. Would like some kind of rebate.
Nothing. There is no customer service because there is zero human contact. So I am reviewing your app nothing else.
didn't show up ontime, couldn't be bothered to leave the keys in the lockbox for self checkout, wasted hours of my time on an already stressful day. losers
DON'T .......... pay any attention to the previous idiot's with all their idiotic and brainless reviews they have left. They need their hands held to do a self checkout......yet they manage to pick their noses while while fumbling around their phone's, and posting their pathetic lives on Facebookbook!!!
Make sure everything is on time. I waited 3 1/2 hours past my original request. I showed up to the location at the agreed upon time and the truck was there, but the manager was not and made me wait an additional hour 1 1/2. He was nice but it was insane how long i had to wait.
I purposely asked for a check in at a counter with a person and then had to do everything myself with my cell phone which was the biggest pain! Also, the email was not marked well enough letting me know my reservation had been moved so we went to the original location to begin with. I never got a call the night before like the original reservation email said I would.
The truck was not parked in the location the pickup picture had placed it, not even on the same street. It took me 30 minutes to get my truck, I had to call because with was a remote pick up. We had requested a dolly. When I got home to start packing up the boxes the dolly was not present in the truck. I had to then drive 20 minutes round trip after waiting to no one in the lobby at the other location. Then had to go through another contract just to get the dolly. This made for a extremely stressful start to our move. I was late getting a head start.
Didn't fill out contract to let the uhaul people know I've returned the vehicle. Therefore I'm getting calls and emails questioning where the vehicle is. I've also been charged twice for my 24 hour uhaul. Out 250 dollars now.
I want to make it clear that I am not so much upset at the size of the truck or service, but the fact that we are getting charged for the gas. Seems that we are being punished for taking a smaller truck, being pleasant about it, having to figure out how to pack a 3 bedroom home into a 1 bedroom truck and laughing and convincing ourselves it was partially our fault â€¦. And then getting slammed with a gas bill â€¦ really? The reason we did not get the 26 foot truck which was originally scheduled was because the business closed on Friday through Sunday and we needed to pick the truck up on Sunday. They did not have time to get the truck ready for us because the business was closed ... the person I talked to was quite pleasant in explaining this but was still disappointed when I could see the 26 footer and not be able to use it ... and we did not get any notice
I understand you have provide service to the customer and I am very unhappy with the company, because you put abuses charge and we make immediately note in your website but don't care , it's a good answer for new customer. Thank you and never see you again

The location was great. However the app to check in was garbage. I had to restart 5 or 6 times because it kept closing out and not allowing me to continue or even to start up where I left off. Took me over an HOUR from the time I arrived to the time we were able to leave. It was awful!
The owner was 45 minutes late for my appointment the check in process was ridiculous for having to check in on our phone because he had no internet and was not very helpful in helping with the check in process I rate this location very very poorly I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone
The mileage on the truck was off by over 2,000 miles. Despite noting this and calling customer service before driving the truck, I was charged an extra $930.
The entire experience was horrific at best, first U-Haul continued to mess up my order after multiple communications to get it correct, yet your customer service staff was unable, Once it got up the chain and had a truck supposedly waiting for me, I was informed by U-Haul I had to speak with the person at Shine Towing and when I got there I found his office locked no one there. I then called him he said he was out of town and couldn't help me and actually hung up on me, I called him back but he did not answer nor returned my call. After working with U-Haul again they informed on how to pick up my truck, but I did not have the blankets I ordered and was told that the office had them ready for me I just had to go in and get them, but how could I when this office was closed/locked and no one there????? U-Haul really needs to revamp their customer service.
We will recommend and use this location again!
This was the WORST experience I have ever had with Uhaul. My reservation was completely changed without my permissions or ANY communication about it. I was charged for multiple things I didn't rent, receive, or purchase. My pick up time and rental time were totally different from my reservation, not by my doing and without my knowledge, when I went to pick up the truck. I was grossly overcharged for Uhaul's mistakes. Still waiting to hear back from customer service. Do not use the 24/7 app and make your reservation in person and print or photograph EVERYTHING.
was suppose to pick up at 4690 s 4000 w got text saying they did not have a trailer there and sent me to 9497 sandy parkway I found the address but there was no u-haul sign so I went in and they said they had one they had to ripe a truck off of it so I could take it very inconvenient they seemed putout to have to deal with me
Though it worked out, and I understand that U-haul isn't his primary business. It was still a little annoying that the manager was late. Other than that they where friendly and helpful!
The owner is very nice and honest. I would go back to his location again because of the way he treated my husband and I.
Trailer brake lights and left blinker didn't work, returned to rental location but staff couldn't swap out trailers for me even though 3 similar trailers were on sight. Ridiculous that there was no one there to update my reservation in the system and get me a fully functional trailer for my long drive out of state. Poorly managed location that doesn't staff appropriate personnel during business hours.
Didn't see any need for improvements. The people at Shine, where I picked it up gave excellent service!
