I was charged for the use of the pads and folly but never used them. I called the location I got it at (Shine Towing in Sandy Utah) they said the would call me back to get a refund and never did. I really don't like paying for something I didn't use. The zip ties wore never broken. Please adjust this ASAP

Had a great experience at Shine Towing and U-Haul. Tracy was super helpful and a delight to work with. Moving is super stressful and chaotic at times. The guys at Shine made at least one aspect of the move smooth and seamless.

I dropped the truck off then 2 hours later got hit with a $200 cleaning bill. For what?!?! I actually cleaned the truck with Clorox wipes twice because it was so gross and dirty.

Very pleasant experience with the folks at Shine Towing. Check-out was a slam dunk, in and out in no time. I had to return a trailer after hours and the proprietor was very flexible about it and provided simple instructions on what to do. When I picked up the trailer it was clear that this team was prepared for my arrival and appreciated my business. Highly recommend this U-Haul location.

Person there really did not care. When I came in did not even turn to face me until he needed my license. Did not tell me to look for damage and that a link was coming. Had to hook it up mainly by myself since he has some very old gentleman help that couldn’t lift it. Was told it would only be 18.95 for the 24 hours however receipt showed $40. I’m now getting charged $40 when on the phone reservation and at the site they said it would only be $18.95.

The company keeps the door locks as it’s a impound lot and I sat there for a while before I called them to get the door unlocked. They should have some signs to let you know that

If you need to rent any U-Haul equipment in Sandy, Utah, go to Shine Towing! They will get you all set up with the equipment you need. During our move to Idaho, we have rented U-Haul trailers four times. Each and every time, the fine folks at Shine Towing helped us out and were a pleasure to work with.

Tracy at Shine Towing provides wonderful customer service. We have had to rent three times in the past month and each and every time the equipment we requested was ready and they made sure everything was in good repair and that we were safe to go. We have to rent one more time next week and we have already contacted Shine Towing and they are ready for us to show up on Tuesday.

I was there early 9:15 and tried to use the app provided. It didn't work. Over and over again. It didn't work. I have a group of people waiting for me. The manager showed up after 10:00. He said that the app will only work 5 min before your schedule time and only 5 min after. SO the keys to the truck were still locked inside the office. And all the pads that I paid for were still in the office. So if the app worked I still wouldn't have had any keys or blankets ready for me. This was not a spur of the moment decision. All my planing with movers and being early went up in smoke. Never EVER again will I ever deal with them, and with U haul (if I can get away with it) again. No one lived it to the promises you told me that you made. !!!!! Dam right I'm mad!!!!

They charge us for gas even with it being full to what our paper shown. The whole experience with uhaul was horrible.

The app wasn't working and no one was onsite. It took nearly 45 minutes to get the app to work so I could pick up the truck. It then took nearly an hour to return it.

The front strap that was put on over the drivers front tire by a U-Haul employee damaged my vehicle rubbing a wire cause an electrical short out to occur.

Extra fees for fuel even though it was at the same level I picked up at and $225 cleaning fee for maybe 5 minutes of work. What a scam.

The drop off location doesn’t have anyone onsite during the day to check the equipment in with, and there was no explanation that this is a repo business, so they check the equipment in each morning, only at 9am, then they leave. Add to that that your mobile drop off app would lock up and not let me take a required picture of the trailer, and I didn’t find this out until contacting customer service, this was pretty a pretty frustrating experience.

I was originally supposed to return it somewhere else. No one told me until I went to drop it off, and I had to drive an extra 15 minutes each way. Then UHaul sent me an email saying I hadn't returned it, and I had to spend another 10 minutes calling and explaining that THEY told me to return it somewhere else. No one ever called me to warn me it had to be returned elsewhere, and you would think they would pay attention to the location THEY told me to return the truck. Moving is stressful enough, they shouldn't add to it.

Uhaul corporate was not helpful at all on the help desk for a 24/7 pick-up. There are some glitches in your software that caused a 1 hour 45 minute delay and redundancy... I will go back to Enterprise next time.

Even though the guys here were very helpful and pleasant to work with, one of the straps they put on the tires to hold my car down came off half way to my destination. I had to remount the strap and by the time I got to where I was going the other strap had come off. Has you can imagine I was very upset with this situation. If the car had come off the auto transport someone could have been seriously injured or even killed by my car. I feel I should be compensated for the anguish and lost time of trying to put on these straps. I wasn't given instructions on how to use them so it took quite some time to figure it out. I will be renting another U-Haul vehicle in 10 months and I hope you send me a certificate for a substantial discount on my next rental. Thank you for your time.

it would have been helpful to have this good pick up location from the beginning and not change things around. The location and the time were both changed.

Note that although the place I got it from was very helpful and nice, the experience was not. The first place which confirmed ended up not being there for the day. I called another location and asked to move my reservation, they agreed, which I had to walk to. Then when I had almost got to that place, a U-haul rep called me and said she had already placed me in a third location and did not want to re-due her paperwork. Because of this bad organization, me, a 60 year old man with a bad leg, ended up walking for 4 miles. Then had to delay my trip due to it. The smile on the man I got it from almost made up for all the U-Haul mix-ups.

The only reason I am not giving 5 star is due to the site being a little difficult to see when driving by. Also the equipment did not get checked in on time by the drop off location and as such I received a late equipment notice when the equipment was turned in on time.

We called several times with questions before we picked up the Uhaul, each phone call was answered in a friendly, helpful way. Both gentlemen at Shine Towing were helpful and a pleasure to work with! If we need a Uhaul again we will surely go to Shine Towing :)

Called they said we could have until 315 no extra charge! Charged us double for being 30 mins over with their approval Regardless he said even at 315 the system would have charged us We would have had this back at 230 if this was going to be the case They basically just stole our money I want my money back immediately!

When I went to rent the vehicle customer service was poor. They used my credit card for another rental. They had to charge my card and then reimburse. They then charged my card again for my rental and credited it again. When I turned in the truck they billed me and sent me an email. Then they charged my credit card a second time for a different amount. When I tried to call them to resolve the issue they would not take my call. They hung up on my once and then five more times it went to voicemail. Horrible customer service and I still have not resolved the issue. I'll have to stop by and deal with the morons in person. Not happy with Uhaul and will make sure I share my story with others.

I have rented a uhaul with many locations. This one is the best and most friendly. It wasnt the closest location to me but ive had several problems or been treated terrible at other locations (the place near dannon yogurt in West Jordan is dishonest, south jordan locations have been rude too). Driving to sandy was worth the extra mileage for good service. Thanks

The truck was supposed to be on the street facing North. There were 3 trucks on the premises. 2 were on the street facing North, one was in the lot facing South. Figuring that the person giving basic instructions for pickup MUST know what truck I was picking up, even though I was wondering why I wasn't getting the one in the lot, I wasted a lot of time trying to find the numbers on the trucks in the street. Nope, my truck was in the lot. Not to mention that I selected a pickup location in Draper, and someone changed it after I made my reservation. Whatever, I had my truck. But they couldn't read a fuel gage, and the front seat doesn't adjust. Obviously they don't care. What pissed me off the worst is the signage all over the truck saying I can rent it for $19.99 per day. Why did I pay $100 more than that? If you tell me it's because of the "convenience" of renting on line, I only did that because I had to in order to get the moving help I needed. Otherwise I'd have rented it from the Uhaul on 5300 South. They treat me with respect and I know exactly what to expect with them. Shine Towing was a debacle for pickup.

Shine Towing called me to get an estimated drop off time because the truck was going to be going back out. I gave them the time and while on my way I called them to update them about a maintenance issue I was given upon checkout. They were so appalled that anyone would allow me to drive 12 hours with that maintenance issue they took my truck out of commission the minute I brought it in, and rightly so because it was downright dangerous. Shine Towing did their best to make it right. They clearly place safety and customer service over their personal gains. I can't recommend these guys enough.

I wasn't scheduled to return to this location but was told to go here because the other location was full. Boy am I glad I went to Shine. The customer service there was second to none. They did everything in their power to ensure I felt welcomed and even gave me some recommendations on how to ensure my U-Haul experience was top notch (fold the blankets to avoid a charge). These guys are seriously in it for the customer service and not the extra commission.

Good customer service. Friendly & fast. The cab of the truck smelled strongly of smoke so then I smelled like smoke when I got to my destination. Rolling down a window didn’t help much & air freshener prob wouldn’t either. I’d suggest no smoking in the truck
