I am upset b/c we were not told of the extra mileage charge. I just has a $37 charge on my card. We should have been told before we left. I had to call and ask.

I was sent a text message to pick truck on tiffin Ave. Went there, no U-Haul rep there, was called and told to go to Shine on Venice road. No truck there. Service rep there nice and called Perkins location where truck had been waiting.

This was the second location I had to go to. The first location had the wrong size of truck. The one that was available was bigger than would fit at dropoff. Get the correct equipment or let me know.

Fix your trucks!!!! The weather was rainy and yes items could get wet in between house to truck and truck to house BUT NOT IN THE TRUCK. My items on the mom's storage got soaked due to HOLES in roof. The ledge had water standing so we used a rag to mop the water as much as we could and put a cover to keep the boxes from getting the bottom wet, but the rain came through the holes in the roof. I called and a replacement truck was given, problem solved NOT!!!!! The next truck just had leaks in the middle of the truck but you could not see the holes. We did see the rain dripping on our stuff. U-Haul was always the go to company to move from one location to another. Your company was always dependable and safe. It is apparently safe to say that U-Haul feels safe in their position and not afraid of new competition. I know that a computer generated email will be sent to apologize and to thank me for my comments. That is another reason why U-Haul is not afraid of new competition. It will be sad to see another get icon come to shut their doors due to sloppy workmanship. Enjoy your greatness and your security of being a leader. Had to wait a long time to pick up trailer because there were computer problems. My reservation was for 8am and did not get out of the store until 915. I had even pre registered weeks earlier.

I asked if there would be additional turnpike charges for the truck and was told no it was considered as a car due to its weight and 1 axle. That info was incorrect and we had to pay an extra toll charge. If he was unsure about the toll or just did not know he should have just said so and I would have gotten onto the turnpike website myself to get the correct answer. Thankfully we had the cash to cover.

The Trailer hitch did not ride well on the ball. We questioned it and was told once it had weight in it it would ride well. It didn't. I called 1-800 # and they could not find me another 4x8 or 5x8 trailer within in a 30 mile radius. I was stuck with the one I had. My husband even replace the ball on our Traverse, and that didn't help. Our new ball is now scuffed on one side from the bouncing the trailer did on my 2000 plus mile trip.In fact part of my treadmill was broken in the process. :(

Horrible experience secondary driver was “noted” on account to pick up truck after hours and when we tried we were denied. Had to sit in dark parking lot for 40 mins and cancell original reservation, make a new one with the secondary driver which everything was supposed to be transferred over however, the representative did not transfer the drop off location to the correct location and they told me if I? didn’t return it back to the “original” destination I could be chaatged upto $200-$300 on my credit card!!!! I? called the Sandusky Ohio office back to complain about what had happen to me after after hours and the rep put me on hold for 15 mins and never came back on phone, I? called back for times later and no one would answer the phone??? Had to call the 1-800-go-haul where I? had to spend another 50 minutes arguing with a representative !! This was a horrible experience!.

Stated 24 hour drop off. Had to call the 1-800 number to make sure since this place did not seem secure enough to leave a trailer out front. also did not see any drop box for over night drop off of keys, etc.

Rethink and eliminate the penalty and fees for dropping the trailer off at a different location than originally planned!

I turned my truck in on Sunday and put the keys in the dropbox since they were closed. A week later I got a call from uhaul that I never turned my truck in because they failed to check their dropbox when they reopened Monday morning. I'd used this location about a year before as well and failed to get me the truck I had reserved after they had called me to confirm it a few days before pickup. They were only able to give me one of the biggest trucks instead of the small one I'd reserved. Hopefully I don't need a truck anytime soon or I'll be trying another location in the area if possible.
