The van that I rented required maintenance which was neglected. The rear brakes were squealing, required oil change, the passenger front tire wobble over 60 miles an hour and vehicle was always pulling to the right. I complained to the return department and the gentleman did not care.

I have rented with Uhaul probably a dozen times. This was by far the worst experience I have experienced. I made my reservation 10 days in advance. I received a "casual" voicemail 2 days before my pickup date informing me they were cancelling my reservation as they did not have an auto transport carrier available. After calling Uhaul back and having to make a big stink about their lack of empathy or concern for the fact that I cancelled a vacation, relying on Uhaul's ability to perform I was provided two alternative pickup locations. This made my business feel undervalued as Uhaul clearly could accommodate my rental but was choosing not to (via the initial cancellation). Additionally, my pickup location was changed THREE TIMES, including a change 45 minutes before my scheduled pickup time (I WAS ALREADY driving to the location!). When I finally picked up the trailer the staffing was poor and under-trained, their "system" was slow at processing AND because I was there 15 minutes early they tacked on an extra day of rental charges and fees, without any care or concern. Had I arrived on-time I would have not received the trailer until 20 minutes after the rental time due to the slow system, under staffing and under-training. I am currently debating about sharing this experience across social media as well as sites such as yelp. How does Uhaul plan to rectify this atrocious service experience of mine?

H, Pls always check the gas level of your system print out with the vehicle. You demand to charge for gas when we return even if we fill to the same level and we will have to disagree. I had this issue twice with your location. Pls check

I didn’t have anywhere to park the trailer and I left the truck with the trailer on location for a few hours (during the night) and I was going to return before they opened. I got a call from the manager that if I didn’t move the truck before they opened, there was gonna be “big problems”. I actually got there before they opened and the guy that helped me was very rude. I will not be going back to that crappy place.
