In my opinion the service was good until the last service call when the rep said," I will make sure and take care of this for you". Well she told me its ok to drop off the rental truck and auto transport at the Curtner Uhaul location. When I arrived there the Uhaul rep said no you need to return the van to the Almaden location. Not only was I told I had to take it to the Almaden Uhaul, but was told i would not have to pay for the mileage to Almaden, which I agreed to. It was rush hour traffic time in San Jose, it took me 40 minutes and five additional miles. Which I had to pay for. Needless to say I'm upset not only because I had a hired driver with me who I had to pay additional compensation to on top of the extra charge from Uhaul. So I had to pay the extra miles, the gas and compensation for my hired help. Upset, yes I am, please have someone from customer service call to discuss this matter. Kind Regards, D.B.

We have an 8:30 PM pick up the wrong key was in the box the manager mr hector, showed up after three calls to the center he said he would be there in five minutes anyways he showed up, annoyed in 15minutes, He did not express any apologies or expressing sympathy for lost time. Then they has the nerve to fill the van with more gas than we used. I was actually expecting a sincere apology and a discounted rate for this very bad experience. my whole schedule for last night got messed up because we got the car almost an hour later than we had planned for. I am open for discussions but Hector Can use some customer service lessons and training. I’ve dealt with him in the past as well.

Very clean and well lit! Easy to understand instructions on multiple signs for an easy drop off after hours. Absolutely the best U-haul I’ve ever seen.

We originally reserved a trailer at Santa Cruz - when we went to pick it up, they said they don’t even carry the trailer we ‘reserved’. The only one available was at the Alemeda location. So, we had no choice but to get it there. Instead of returning it to Santa Cruz as planned for in our original reservation, we were informed we had to make an extra trip back to San Jose. This cost us additional gas mileage, three hours extra time, and an unnecessary hazardous drive through the Santa Cruz mountains in the rain. The employees, although efficient, did not seem to be bothered in the least by our untenable position. U-Haul needs to improve (create?) something resembling good customer relations. Honoring reservations would be a good start!

This was the worst service from start to finish... reservation was books months prior to arrival at the first location and at the final destination. Uhaul changed the drop off dates so many times without explanation and it was panic mode to get them to correct their error for lack of communication on their part. iT was the worst experience every bar none. we will never use Uhaul again for UBox. Again the worst experience.

The U-Haul app does not work, something we were not told. I had to call and it took 25 minutes to reach somebody who told me the app has rarely worked and that I needed to check out online from my phone. Proceeded to do that but I already have a file at that location so it took 30 minutes to check out with the help of one of the U-Haul workers. He couldn't access our keys, he couldn't open the door to his store, it was a complete disaster. Add to that I had to send copies of my license, pictures of the vehicle, the list went on and on. At one point at 8:20 in the morning the person that does the chat feature told me they had to call two of my friends or coworkers. What does that have to do with me renting a vehicle after providing a picture of two license and personal photos. I wouldn't recommend you all to anybody I will pay more to go someplace else next time. I even had to take a color test that she sent over seriously what the hell is that for. Ended up missing my first moving window and had to drive the van and extra 15 miles unloaded to make my appointment period at almost a dollar a mile that's absolutely ridiculous. Customer service terrible, chat terrible, phone support worst ever. The only person that was nice was the U-Haul worker at the location, but it was before ours and his keys weren't working and he didn't have access to the lock boxes. So we ended up getting our vehicle an hour late

I had a truck with a TPS sensor that was on I pointed it out to staff before I left and was told sometimes the sensor lights up but the tire is not low. After driving it for about 10 miles that tires pressure had dropped significantly. Lucky I was near location and they quickly and easily swapped out the truck. Really willing to help and provide a new truck!!

I was two hours late for my pick up. U-Haul already had my 3 day reservation and my credit card. When I got there I was told that my reserved trailer had been given to someone else because I had not showed up on time. This did not make me happy and I did get a trailer. Why would you take my credit card, reserve a trailer for 3 days and then give it to someone else because I was 2hrs late to pick up?

My reservation at a facility near my apartment got cancelled somehow. As a result, I was given a new location at 5 miles distance from my place. I could have saved about $15 in mileage if I could use my earlier facility itself.
