My truck was scheduled to be returned to this location at 12pm, at about 830am i got a phone call from this location saying that he was calling to make sure i was aware what time the truck was suppose to be returned and that if i needed the address, also if i had any questions on how to find the location, and that if i did have any questions just to call and the would be happy to help. Couldn't have been better service! The truck was clean and relatively comfortable enough during the 1100 mile trip. I recommend bringing your own charger/plug-in for iTunes or pandora for a long distance trip. Glad we did.

I rented a U-Haul from Complete Towing and Recovery in San Jacinto and had the worst experience I ever had at a business establishment. When I showed up at the location I asked if I could change my order and return my U-Haul truck to the delivery location instead of having to drive back to the pick-up location. I was told that it would not be a problem and that they would just have to change something in the system. I asked if the cost would be the same and was told that they were going to make an exception and would fix it so that the cost is the same. I don’t know what happened but there was something wrong with their system and they had to ask me for my address and billing information over and over. I literally handed them my driver’s license 6 times because every time they would advance in the system they would get kicked out of their system. The person I was working with finally called over her son that also works at the location as she was becoming more and more frustrated. It got to the point where they were showing me what was happening in the system so that I would believe they were getting kicked out of the system. The son working at the location apologized and said that his dad normally knows more about the systems and was not working at the location. This was the worst example of customer service I have ever encountered. I appreciate that they explained to me that the person that knows most about the business (the son’s father) wasn’t there but that should be my burden. Why was I now running late due to this inconvenience. The morning of my truck return I called Customer Service to make sure everything looked good on their end and they didn’t know what I was talking about. I explained my situation and they made the changes they needed to make in the system. When I arrived at the return location in Orange (Mitchell’s Pit Shotp) that afternoon the attendant looked at me like I had a third eye. He told me that he was not aware of me returning the truck to his location and it didn’t matter because he didn’t have room for me. He was extremely rude. I got on the phone with U-Haul and spoke to a very nice person in customer service and she spoke to him. All I heard from his side of the conversation with the Customer Service Agent was “ok ok” and he hung up with them and completely ignored me. I called customer service on my own and the person I spoke to had already gone home so I had to explain my situation over to an entirely new person. When I spoke to that person she was very nice and directed me the final location in Garden Grove a few miles away. When I arrived at the Garden Grove location (U-Haul Moving and Storage) the person didn’t know what I was talking about so we had to start over from scratch! What type of company am I working with where there aren’t notes in the system where everyone could be on the same page?! So I called Customer Service again and the person spoke to the attendant. He was very nice and
