Uhaul sucks ass majorly at this location!
It took 30 minutes to self check in after I already did pre-check in. That was a waste of time. The location was in a very sketchy part of town and we did not feel safe. The truck was just left in a parking lot with no directions. We had to pick up the keys inside of a liquor store! When we went inside the lady said the system was down and would not give us the keys. After going back and forth, she finally called the U haul manager who gave her the okay to give us the keys. Also, it took several minutes for a customer service rep to get back to us on the messenger. AWFUL SERVICE, AWFUL LOCATION, AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
The staff was great and the location was decent but the Cargo area reeked of cigarettes and had buds and ash inside. I was only able to put my furniture and no clothes because it smelled that bad.
The car had been pooped on, and no blankets were available as I had requested. The car itself was clean though, besides the area of poop on the front tire.
I rented a truck w/ no insurance coverage added, spoke to a rep over the phone to add another day and the lady automatically added safe move, not cool

Change the location. A liquor store in the ghetto is not exactly desirable. Felt unsafe as people flooded in and was not given any direction/instruction on truck.
No one checked the vehicle with me. Drivers side windshield wiper didn't work (and it rained briefly while I was on the road) - could have been extremely dangerous. Lots of homeless people wandering in and out of lot.
Bad neighborhood, parking was questionable, lock left on the truck Truck brakes make noise when applying the brakes
Wasn't walked out to the U-Haul. After finding which was mine, and taking it across town... opening up the back was horrendous. The back of the U-Haul was completely filled with cat feces, urine, and vomit. ???????? My roommate being extremely allergic to cats meant, I had to clean out the mess THOROUGHLY. Not something I wanted to do, but we were across town already, and time was a factor in getting our stuff out. A little customer service, or just checking on your inventory occasionally would have prevented this.
Don't advertise a $19.95 rental if you are going to automatically add a $28 "Safe Move Plus" fee. The purpose of this fee could not be explained by your representative and I had no option to decline. I assume it's just an unethical way to jack up the price. Bogus.
The truck had trash in it from a homeless person who slept in it from the night before. The lot for the trucks was also filled with trash.
This Uhaul charged me approximately $1100 on over the course of 3 days on a 4 hour rental that I did not put mire than 20 miles on. After several complaints they said the charge would be reversed in 3 business days it has now gone on for 11 days and in that time they put another $71 on my card. I placed a file report on the issue, was told I would hear back in 2 days and have heard nothing in over 8 days. This is the worst experience I have ever had with UHAUL and know I will never use you're services again.
This is a horrible location. It looked like people were living in the back of some of the rentals. The lot was not well maintained and had abandoned cars mixed in with the rental trucks. No drop box for the keys, so I turned them into the owner of the store but not sure he even knew where the keys went.
The place I rented the truck from would not accept the return.
The truck was clean in the cabin and in the storage, but the tire pressure was low, and I didn't have the time to be able to deal with it. It didn't affect the use of the vehicle, though.
This is a liquor store in a bad neighborhood. Homeless population sleeping and hanging out in the UHaul trucks in the back alleyway parking lot. They had trouble finding the reservation and equipment, but once they did.. no receipt printout or vehicle inspection, equipment covered with some sort of grease and filthy, and the truck was almost on empty.
No Uhaul Rep, she didn't know how to get ball hitch to lock, had to ask a random person to help me jump on the hitch hoping it would lock into place. Plus the location and how everything was set up was atrocious, I had to help push the trailer back into its spot because there was no room to pull it out or put it back in, Penske offers military discounts aswell. My first and last time using Uhaul.
Very poor location. Manager had no knowledge of how to unhook the trailer. The place was just a convenience store with a small parking lot out back. Very poor representation of UHAUL.
I drove for 31 miles in total and was charged for 4 gallons of gas.
To Whom it May Concern: Please look into my current claim that's on file. I'm extremely dissatisfied with UHauls ability to execute quality customer care. Even after â€œDanielâ€, Uhauls customer service traffic representative, making claims that yes in fact my situation was Uhauls error and a result of erroneous information listed on the website, I was not provided with a credit or refund for the inconvenience of additional expenses incurred.
I was nor given a copy of the vehicle contract and the email I was sent did not have a copy of it either. It would have been nice to have a copy of the contract in case something went wrong. The cab of the truck was sticky with a previous renters spilled drink.
The customer service isn't great at this location. But she tried.
