First time using uhaul and I expected to be treated excellence as a first timer. But, my experienced was not what I expected. The van that I rented has damages , scratches and uncleaned interior. The person that I talked to wasn’t really familiar to its equipment if its ready to be used. Also, didn’t bother to get out and check the vehicle. Hopefully, it wouldn’t happen to anyone else and to do a follow up more to this place.



Truck was dirty and not in good condition. it has damage on the sides and rear and there was no one to check or confirm. I was worried I would be charged for its poor condition. The price was also much higher as I was suppose to get the truck from a location much closer to my home and where I was moving but they sent me out of the way and into another part of town. More miles were charged b/c of this.

Your mobile express check in at the location did not work, frustrating, your website is faulty and instructions to find pick up my truck is "not in the dashboard" our express pick up time was at 7:30am, we had to wait until mini mart store opened at 9, loosing valuable time and making helpers wait. I called the mini-mart 2 day's ahead of time to ask about the express pick up time, he told me very little, only that we would get a code once I used the mobil express links on the u-haul website. He failed to explain there is a lock box in front of the store, we were way in the back of the store in a remote parking lot. Once we went into the store, it took another 30 minutes to get the truck. The owner of the store did not give us good instructions or details. He failed to tell us to take a picture of the mileage on the truck before bringing the key into the store, so after moving for 3 hours I had to walk back out to the truck which was far away from the store to take a picture. The mini-mart owner didn't apologize or take any responsibility, instead blamed it on me. This was my first time renting a u-haul from a mini-mart, I needed more explanations and direction. I won't be using u-haul or the mini-mart again, and I'll let neighbors in the community know about our experience. P.S. I tried to used the link below to get a response from you, at the "please use or contact form" and it does not link to a contact form just your main page, I shouldn't have to look all over your website to give feedback in a contact form. Disappointing

Terrible spot for a drop off aside from all the extra parking behind the buildings for the trucks. This was a drop off at a liquor store that was not easily identifiable from the street, you had to literally drive behind the buildings to see all the other trucks which clued you into knowing it was the actual drop off spot. Service was poor as the guy didn't know how to complete the drop off using the system and he would put me on hold so he could attend customers for the liquor store. He asked that he take my keys to the truck and that he'd complete it later. find out that later I get charged a $1 fee for incorrect drop off?? I dropped it off at the correct location. Worst drop off experience ever.

The truck had all the windows really dirty, the staff is uncommunicative, they seem annoyed and also they over charged me, they don't want to explain anything, very unprofessional staff the SUV had the "check engine" light on. Very unpleasant experience

Main cabin of van smell of cat urine and was visibly dirty. All doors were unlocked. I cleaned it myself at home after driving off with the windows rolled down. There were no other vans and I was in a hurry. Before my 110-mile return trip, I discovered the left front tire was under-filled and the right front tire was over-filled. I had to drive to 2 gas stations and 2 UHaul sites before I found the right place that could adjust them (Long Beach, Carson & Cherry). This site was not well-rated when I booked it but I had a restricted timeline.

When I received the van it was really dirty the windows were really hard to see through I actually had to stop by some Windex and clean them up also when I returned it the person that took care of my return didn't really explain to me what were the charges And she just told me that he was done with me

I rented from Morena Storage, but was directed to pick-up the truck up at a "Mini Mart" which was essentially a liquor store in a sketchy part of town. The rental agent, who doubled as the liquor store cashier, manager, and maybe the owner. The truck was filthy! There were napkins, candy wrappers, plastic bags inside the truck and a sticky mess running down the passenger side window. I would've refused the truck, but being in such a really bad part of town I feared staying there any longer. When my wife dropped me off I told her to lock the doors and get out of here! It was 10:00 AM and there were people on drugs and/or alcohol at the front of the store and then I had to walk through an alley to the back of the store to get my nasty/dirty truck. Avoid this location!!

This was my first experience with U-Haul and I could not be more frustrated with it. The smallest issue was the garbage that the previous renter had left in the back of the van. The most annoying issue was that I tried to check in online ahead of time, but after a long rigmarole of an online process and having to submit my learners permit to a Uhaul representative even though I’d already submitted the required info of the person who would be driving the van for me, I was told I could not check in online and would have to find the attendant for help. Well, the attendant decided to show up for work 45 minutes late and open up shop first before he’d even acknowledge me or my problem. He was very lazy, slow-working, and clearly has no regard for customer service at all. I will not be using this service for future moves again. So irritating.

My ratings have nothing to do with the people or service at this location. They were great. However if Uhaul wants to increase their "pick up locations" while lowering their overhead they need to offer a much more generous discount on rental rates to their customers. After all we are the ones that are left waiting while other liquor store patrons are purchasing items and we are the ones that need to navigate the vehicles into the tightest spaces because there aren't clearly designated Uhaul parking spaces. The added so call convenience of nearby locations is quickly erased by these other INCONVENIENCES

The uhaul itself was clean on the inside but reeked of beer/foul smelling odor. The inside of the drivers cabin also had a overwhelming cigarette smell. Luckily I wasn’t moving far so we didn’t have to be in it for long, but any farther and it would have been a dealbreaker. Didn’t feel like i could have kept furniture or anything that absorbs smell in the truck for very long either. Made multiple trips just so things wouldn’t sit in the uhaul and end up smelling like a dumpster when I got to my new place. The location itself wasn’t bad, just not super well kept. Only positive was the people at the location were friendly and the check in and return process was very quick and easy.

It was hard to find the site, it needs a more prominent sign. The van was dirty and needed to Hoover the inside before use. Also the gas was slightly below full but marked as full. Otherwise it was a good experience. I'd prefer if I could opt out of the insurance except for cdw, as I am already insured.

The mobile check in option is extremely cumbersome and time-consuming. Many of the steps like taking pictures of yourself/driver's license, the color blind test, and listing a referral contact can all be done prior to arriving at the location. Ordering these steps to be completed AFTER arriving at the U-Haul makes no sense and can affect people who are on strict timetables.

This was not the location closest to where I wanted to bmove stuff, ended up driving 20 extra miles , the location this place is at was too far and the attendant very rude.
