Blinkers worked only intermittently despite a mechanic attending he said just wiggle the stalk and they'll come on, some times they did sometimes they didn't. One thing doing this when stationery but when your travelling down the free way not something you want to have to worry about and I considered it dangerous. I'm from the UK and had enough to think about driving on the other-side of the road in a foreign country. VERY DISAPPOINTED. In addition in my emailed final invoice I've been charged an additional $145.45 which I dont understand it says credit card charge but I paid by debit card. Could you please explain this charge.

Much better experience that prior times. The office staff took my reservation and was very helpful. The yard crew got me hooked up and solved a lighting issue. They also carefully explained how to load the flatbed car hauler. When I returned the trailer they met me in the lot and quickly took care of the check in. The prior day I had accidentally left an extra ball mount for my hitch at the shop. The employee had tagged it for return and ran me down in the lot before I left to return it to me. A very good overall experience.

A/c did not work on a very hot day when we were moving. Agent was not concerned about the issue when I returned the van. The van smelled really bad inside, and the outside was dirty.

Make sure the truck is all in working order. The passenger side door would not open from the outside (unlocked). We had to crawl over three seats in order to open the door from the inside. It was a major inconvenience.

For anyone getting the auto transport, I recommend having the Uhaul team provide their loading assist service at the start and at the end of your move. The team not only ensured that my car was safely loaded and locked down, but gave me great pointers and safety suggestions for driving the truck while towing the car behind.

I reserved a trailer and purchased the equipment needed to haul it per your website recommendations. The equipment was not right, nor did you have the type of hitch I needed. I had to wait almost an hour after my reservation time to learn this. I was contacted repeatedly re the return of a trailer I never had. but no one called yo advise me, per my request, what type and length of hitch I needed. I tried to get the SJC office to help with a one way rental, but they did not.

People were still there even though it just closed. I asked for help to checkout online this big heavy guy was rude didn’t want to help he just has a job for the pay check he can care less. Seen him walk out like he was arguing with another employee. Toxic environment will never use it again there’s plenty of other locations I can use. I’ll also tell friends and family the place sucks.

I reserved a 17ft truck. Less than 24 hours before my pickup, I received a voicemail stating a 17ft was not available and my reservation would be converted to a 15ft. I called the number back within 5 minutes and spoke to someone who said they could give me a 20ft truck if I picked up Thursday night rather than Friday, so i agreed. Less than a minute later, I received a call and was told that a 20ft was not available and that I would have to settle for a 15ft or drive to the next UHaul location, while still paying per mile for the rental. I agreed to the 15ft for a discounted price. When I arrived at the UHaul location, I had to wait for more than 10 minutes to be helped. The employee went through the registration process, which I had already done online. When we got to the price, he did not initially include the discounted price. I asked him about it and he agreed to change it. Instead of reducing my price by $10, he raised my price by $10. I called him on it and he blamed the computer system, even though he clearly entered $10 in the price adjustment rather than -$10. He finally corrected the mistake. When I got to the truck, there was a dolly in the back of the truck taking up 18in of room that I did not order. So now, I have a truck 2ft smalled than I reserved and there is a dolly that I don't need taking up spaced. I asked another employee about it and he said as long as I didn't break the green seal, I wouldn't be charged for it. I explained the situation and he begrudgingly removed it. I took the truck and completed my move. When I returned the truck, the employee the received me, still tried to charge me with original rate that I booked for a 17ft truck. How does a computer system that I signed the day before not carry forward the agreed to price? The employee had his earphones in the entire time and didn't explain to me what was going on, but he eventually manually changed my rate to the discount I was promised the previous day. Overall, my experience was terrible, It seems that UHaul was trying to nickel and dime me for everything they could. In most cases, I'm sure this strategy works, but it is I believe it is very dishonest and will avoid using the company in the futures.

Someone from uhaul called and said this location didn’t have my truck (the day before my move - VERY unprofessional) and the sent us to a different location. We went to the different location and they didn’t have a truck! Then our original location called us and said they DO have the truck. We wasted time and gas. When a person reserves a truck - make sure you have the truck !! People hire movers and move dates are set ! People are busy and don’t have time for unprofessionalism and mishaps on an already stressful day !!!!!



They do have their faults..they are not perfect. I returned my trailer early, yet their system did not register. When they called asking if I wanted to renew I said I'm sorry I returned the haul. They said I'm sorry and will look to make sure. This oversite costed me nothing. This is the first time in 3 years I have been with them they made a "mistake". I will continue coming here. They are great and I can't wait to come back! Thanks for the service! We are all human!
