We drove out of the lot and found there was no gas in the van. We were not told to check the gas gauge, only the mileage. We called the phone number on the sheet and was put on hold for a very long time. Finally, someone answered and said Paul would call me back in about one minute, but he never called back. We put gas in the van and took care of our business. We returned the van. My first time renting from Uhaul was not a good experience.

The after hours instructions need to be more comprehensive (i.e, where to drop off the keys to the vehicle). So, that clients don't lock the keys in the vehicle only to be charged $75 later for not being familiar with the aforementioned peice, or the facility in general. That's the only issue. Otherwise service was great.

The trailer lights did not work and as a result I was not able to pick of my stuff and lost over $1,000 of my stuff! Extremely upset and extremely dissatisfied! It even took 1 hour to go through the rental processs, as I had an extremely time sensitive time line, that did not help, as it only added less time to my move out time! Prior to that since 8am I was looking for a uhaul to rent to get all of my stuff out by noon that day! I went to 3 different uhaul Rentals and was given the wrong address by the uhaul on the phone! It was all a serious waste of my time! It is extremely upsetting how much I lost as a direct result of the numerous issues caused by uhaul and the uhaul trailer lights not working! Not only did I lose all my stuff but I lost 10 gifts given to me by my neighbors, which I can never replace!

The pickup location was changed last minute without my consent. This was not overly objectionable as it was still fairly close to my house. The person helping me out at this location was not helpful, spoke in very muffled tones, and kept going back and forth between talking to me and talking in his earpiece.

Took at least twenty to thirty minutes to check in. It appeared that power was out, but no one said anything about that. Cockroaches were crawling all over the cab of the truck. Gross. I rented a van so it's very possible my stuff now has cockroaches. I'll be watching my new office and storage for them. If the check in experience wasn't so long and I wasn't already at my office, I would have returned the van. I killed at least five cockroaches. I have pictures. Then I was told I paid for insurance, blankets, and a dolly, none of which were true. Not a great time.

with two phone calls from UHaul it was not clear that the requested rental pickup location had change to a location 30 minutes away. When trailer was picked up the requested dozen furniture pads where not included.

The service was great.. especially the person who assisted my husband in the breaks of the U-Haul truck.. I am so sorry I forgot his name but he is a Filipino guy. He was there to assist him when the truck suddenly stopped.. I was so glad that he was there ready to assist us. I just wish the trucks will be like the ordinary car to drive .. the breaks was confusing to drive. Good, the Filipino guy was there to assist us. Praise God!

Getting the truck was a great process. Professional and efficient. Returning the truck was a different process. No acknowledgement (be right with you or something like). Truck was very clean but there was either an alignment or tire balance problem and when asked I expressed my experience on deaf ear. So they ask and clearly don’t care what the answer is. Even with all of it still better overall then other locations locally

Your associate, Niko (sp?), went above and beyond to get my rental trailer safely on the road. I borrowed a truck from a friend and rented a trailer from you, and when I picked up your trailer Niko checked the lights...no brakes or blinkers on the trailer. He then checked the electric on the trailer and all was well, so the problem was probably on my end. He could have left it at that, but instead he checked my borrowed truck’s fuses, etc. and diagnosed the problem as corroded contacts truck-side. Again he could’ve left it at that, but instead he cleaned them for me and got me on the road with less than a 20 minute delay. Top notch dude and thanks Niko and U-Haul for great service.
