Over all experience was great. Duane was very helpful over the phone and when I picked up and dropped off the equipment.

Contract was not entered correctly resulting in UHAUL not knowing when and where equipment was turned in. This became a multistate problem. Also my credit card was charged multiple times. All I was told was to call the regional manager.

I was told the gas tank was full when I rented the vehicle, when I got in myself there was only a 3/4s of the way full, I filled it back up to the point it was at when I rented it when I returned it and was charged by uhaul for y’all having to fill the tank up when it wasn’t full when I rented it. I feel cheated and I’m not ever going to go back to a place that cheats people like that. Very disappointed. As soon as I saw the gas gauge not full I said something and was assured that it would be okay. When I brought it back that person was not there and I was charged extra. I only drove 21 miles in the cargo van and I put 2 1/2 gallons in to replace what I drove but I was not going to fill it up since I didn’t not receive it full even though the paper work said I did and I pointed out that was false. When I brought the keys back there was a new person there who just took the keys and told me to have a good day. They didn’t inspect the vehicle they just told me I was good to go. Upon getting charged later that day I was charged for things I was told I wouldn’t have to worry about since I didn’t receive a van with a full tank of gas. That promise was not kept and I’m severely disappointed with the Buisness. No one inspected the van with me when I was done. I was just told to go and then secret charges were charged to my account that I was told not to worry about because of the company’s negligence to appropriately manage the vehicles and to charge me extra for someone else’s negligence.

Informed the person that checked the uhaul back in that the furniture dolly and pads were not used he said he would take the charge off but didn't. If he wasn't sure he could have said that. I blame myself for not rechecking with another worker. I will not be returning or recommending anyone that I know.

Did you read the miles and let us know before you left? Nope, was I told to do that? Nope. I just wrongly assumed a company would be honest. My boyfriends brother works for uhaul and he laughed at us saying, “yup, that’s the crooked crap they pull”. Never again. Also, the lady working there was slow. They guy who helped us didn’t even realize the card you use to pay needed to be under the same name as the drivers license (yeah, I figured that out by looking at their card information input screen, which did NOT have an input for a name, um, are you dumb? MUST BE A REASON FOR THAT, BECAUSE UH.... HAS TO BE THE SAME NAME AS THE ONE ON THE LICENSE. Pathetic). Crap company, crap experience.

Nothing was done correctly in the system. Everything was re-done in the system. They did not do all of the information correctly. The forgot to add my insurance back on when they re-created everything.

Only concern was tire pressure alert symbol stayed on from time van picked up until returned even though tires were appropriately aired. Made for an uneasy trip with frequent stops to check tires.

The cargo area of this unit had a section of the floor removed. The fella that handed me the keys was not intrested in helping me identify the previous damage and told me not to worry about notifing him about the damage. The app and website is not functioning to allow me to do the online photos for previous damage and when I dropped the vehicle off I could not do online check in. Martin is the facilty manager and he has been the most helpful U-Haul employee I have ever delt with. I frequently rent trucks from U-Haul and the website and rental process is the slowest process ever.

Offer at least 100 miles free, included in the base rental price. This will help people in the rural areas near San Antonio better afford to move using U-haul. As a single woman with no truck I had little options for my moving needs. I’ve always used U-haul because I’ve always had good experiences with your company. Help make renting trucks and vans more affordable.
