This is my first time using Uhal and my experience with the manager Adam Pena was horrible. I had a issue with the closing latch getting struck when i pull the back drawer. No body explain to me how to lock the latch after unlocking it for the removal. I end up loading and unloading the boxes at home as i couldn't close the back door. I took to the Uhal location and other staff were more empathic and understood where was coming from with regard to the issue other than Adam. I am shocked by his rude attitude and trying to tell that it was my mistake and I knew about it which is kind of rude. The operator who helped knew that is was an honest mistake on myside due to lack on not know what to do after unlocking the latch. Adams attitude and behavior is un tolerable and I am not gonna to go that location and wont recommend to any one. I would appreciate if you could give some customer support training and little bit more empathic to people. If you have any footage of what happend then i would recommend to take some proper action against him.

I drove the truck a grand total of 14 miles and out 2.4 gallons of gas back in it. Then they charged me $6 for gas cause they claimed in didn’t fuel it back up. I tried reasoning with them, showing them the receipt from the gas station across the street but he was a real asshole. Never again.

It would be better if there was more than 1 person available to write up contracts. I had to wait in line approximately 20 minutes to be helped.

The truck I was given had a defective seat belt alarm that alerted approx every 3 minutes for the entire rental. The dash lights were out, the after sunset driving was quite difficult. The driver seat cover was no fastened down on the side. The floor lining by the gas pedal was loose from its mooring, and caught my foot every time I moved from the brake to the gas pedal. The ramp would not retract fully after the first time it was extended- three people tried- and so the back door would not latch. All in all a VERY UNSATISFACTORY experience. The phone staff at check in after hours was great, but I dont know what people without a smartphone would do.

The trailer pick up took much too long! Especially since I checked in online! Why bother, if you're going to ask all the same info again! I assume this is a Uhaul system issue, not the location's fault. The clerk was very pleasant.

The check in process is archaic. I checked in on line, have a history as I’ve rented numerous times, and it still takes twenty minutes to get a $20 a day trailer.

Make sure your employee Steven with the beard doesn’t explain how he’s a bitch because he hasn’t gotten enough sleep. The other guy working was very rude too but didn’t catch his name. The only worker that was good was pat an African America woman, she should be a manager or get a raise cause she was very welcoming while the other too were rude and vulgar. Also, I never asked for a dolly or wanted/needed one, so I got charged for something I wasn’t even asked if I needed. The rude man said how that location was the best location and it’s not. The other two locations I’ve been too were much better.
