I think allowing a few (1-3) package deals for customers would be great... Instead of the .79 a mile, maybe packages that allow 25-50 miles at a total, which would be fair for both sides. 51-100 miles and 100 miles and over, etc.

wanted pick up in my local town no trucks available for the size I wanted was not notified at time of rental had to go out of town to pick up truck. First time ordered on line will not do it again.

We rented a truck on Saturday and was told to bring it back on Sunday morning. When we arrived to drop off the truck, the gate was closed and locked and there was no employee on site. We waited and no one showed up. We called the McHenry location and they called the Salida office in addition to instant messaging them, with no response. They attempted to be helpful but could offer no explanation. They logged our issue into our record. We were on our own. We had to call a friend who rents a space at your Salida location. He had to leave his job and come down to swipe his card and let us in the gate so that we could secure the truck. We put the key in the lock box. Monday morning, we received a phone call from the Salida store confirming that they got the truck and keys. We were told that they decided to close on Easter Sunday. That is great.... except NO ONE TOLD US. Someone could have called us and let us know and given us some kind of instructions, instead of letting us sit outside of the gate for 2 hours and then inconveniencing a friend. We wasted 2 hours of our Sunday because of your lack of communication. Then, when I asked about our bill and an unidentified $35.00 charge, I was told that it might be a pre-authorization. Might be???? :( I was surprised that I was not offered any kind of compensation in bill reduction for the 2 hours wasted and the inconvenience. This was NOT a great example of customer service.

Have them actually be open when I get sent there - by the location I actually reserved a truck at but who didn't have one! - only to find the new location closed in the middle of the day because the clerk apparently had car problems!

Very clean. The truck was easy to drive and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely choose this location again, how every I hope to never have to move again! ! Moving is just awful!

Exterior of the trailer was extremely dirty. We had to unhook the trailer ourselves when we dropped it off because there was only one lady working. The lady was nice so no big deal..



There was only one person there and he was dealing with another customer. He said just to drop the keys and he'll take care of it later which he did. The only thing that we didn't like was having to leave the gas at the same level as we rented it. We would have liked to picked up the rental with a full tank of gas and left it with the same. We picked the rental with 5/8 of a tank, and filled it to 5/8. When we started the truck the gauge was reading close to 2/3.The customer the guy was dealing with had the same issue. When he filled his truck up the gauge showed 1/2 tank, when he started the truck and moved, it showed a full tank.
