I was charged $75 in the morning when I checked out the truck about 9:30 or 10:00 when it was returned at 4:00 the same day I was charged $758 saying that in that short period of time and only traveling approximately eight blocks I was told we put on over a thousand miles in the on the truck I'm now disputing that charge with the credit card company this happened on Tuesday supposedly they were looking into it it's now Thursday and I haven't heard a word
Mariah was a great help and was very informative. The only hiccup was missing the furniture pads. When I called about them, Mariah said I could come by to get them or they would reimburse me the rental fee of $5.00. Otherwise, everything was easy and went very well.

I cannot recommend U-Haul itself for the incredibly poor treatment and misrepresentations made during my move, but the staff at this location was helpful and courteous. I am concerned that vehicles in Oregon are allowed to be used to transport marijuana (it's legal here) and the odor from that cargo doesn't easily leave the truck or the U-Haul cleaning process is inadequate. Three different store clerks acknowledged the smell - even at my destination days later - and the company's response was essentially â€œtoo bad for you, we are busy.â€ They should not be renting out vehicles that are not clean or ready for a family to use.
Everything went as planned. The app did not work so well when trying to enter the record of damages but otherwise it was a great experience.
It was pretty busy when I was there so had to wait longer. Maybe have more than one person working. Two would have been alot better.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. I Enjoyed joking around with the owner of the shop while doing the transaction. For my first time pulling a trailer, the staff made it painless.
They wiped down the interior before I took it, but the windshields need to be cleaned before they are rented out and someone who used the truck before me smoked inside or smelled of smoke. I had to Frabreeze the inside.

I didn't answer the â€œWould you recommendâ€ question because I would say Maybe-with a warning. I normally rent from this location, they have plenty of staff and you move through the process smoothly, even though it's a busy location. This time however was a train wreck from pick up to drop off. There was one employee there that knew how to work the computer. The other, was brand new and hadn't been trained or had very little training. Honestly, I was fine with standing in line and at the counter while we waited for the trained employee to help others as well as hook up equipment. It's the dropping off of the trailer that I had a issue with.... after I had pulled into the drop off lane I sat in my car (per their rules) and waited for an employee to come out and unhook the trailer. Knowing it's a busy location I waited. I waited for over 10 minutes and during that entire time not one customer went into the store so I went in to see how busy they were. The store was EMPTY. There wasn't even an employee behind the counter. I did hear some talking so walked around a display and saw the girl from the morning leaning against the doorway of the small office talking with the man in the office. The both looked at me and continued talking even though I said â€œexcuse me? I'm dropping off.â€ as I stood there they continued chatting and then the guy looks at me and asked if they could help me. I repeated again that I was dropping off and he said he would be right out to help me. Okay, I'll go wait in my car. Went back out to my car and waited.... I watched as one customer walked in, purchase, and walked out with their packing supplies. I waited for another 10 minutes. Frustrated I unhooked the trailer myself. Once I arrived home (West Salem mind you) I found the direct number on my contract for the store and called them. The man (Kurt, I believe he said) answered. I told him I removed the trailer myself and it's sitting in the drop off lane. He thanked me and then told me that they just get so busy that they get scattered. Seriously? I was there for 20 minutes waiting, you had one customer. He then goes on to tell me I could leave the parking lot and he would email me a receipt. That clearly showed me they never even came outside even after I left! I was home when I made that call. Receipt never showed up but that didn't surprise me. What did surprise me was the phone call I received the following afternoon. It was U-haul customer service. She was calling to ask when I would be returning the trailer that I rented the following day. I told her I returned it yesterday and told her what happened. She was not happy and stated that she will be contacting the GM for that location. I'm not sure if she did. I did however finally receive my receipt that Kurt said he would email to me the day before. This emailed receipt wasn't from Kurt though. He never once followed through with anything. The lady from customer service sent it.
They didn't have enough people working and it was very busy.
There was dog hair in the cab and small garbage like gum wrappers.
What I won't ever do is recommend the place that I had to drop this truck off at. They didn't go over anything with me. Didn't even want to see my contract. Just said I could only drop off the truck and leave. Employee took my name and phone number and promised me that the mgr of the gas station would call me the following morning, but that call never came. This is NOT how I have ever had a transaction end with ANY rental place. Also, I paid cash, I was told since I didn't go 30 miles, I would have money back. The employee at the drop off gas station said they didn't deal with cash customers, so I wouldn't get anything back. That, again, is NOT good customer service.

Renter 26' truck 2 weeks prior. When I got there I saw one 26' truck in the lot. However they told me my truck had not been returned yet. What about that truck in the yard, oh that one is reserved. Well I have a reservation too so what's the deal. I wasn't offered the $50 like the reservation said. Instead they gave me a 16' truck, I had no other choice. I had to move my home. Ended up not moving that day so returned truck 4 hrs. later and was charged $62 bucks anyway. Truck had to be cleaned before I could take it. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
The employee who helped me was extremely rude and offensive. For the second week in a row, the u-haul I reserved was not available.
Free coffee would be nice

It's been at least three years running that i've not been able to rent the size of trailer i was looking for. Usually reserve a month in advance when i can but haven't been able to get the trailer
more emphasis on mask wearing in these weird times. Chin diapers are not acceptable, even outside, should you be in close proximity.
I made the reservation over the phone at one location and picked up at another. The person making my reservation was very helpful. I told him I had never used uhaul before and he mentioned the ramp. Glad he did! Picking up was quiet and painless, the guy was very nice. When I brought it back, I was 30min late but they didn't mind. Dropping it of was quick even though they had suddenly gotten very busy! I'm really appreciative of the staff, they didn't add to the already stressful situation of moving. Thanks!
