I was originally supposed to pick up my truck from a main UHaul office but was asked to switch locations. This area of the city is not well maintained, and I did not feel safe entering the building or being in the parking lot as a single woman. I did not want to take the time to take pictures of the truck because I felt unsafe in the open parking lot. It was morning so there were people around but I would never come to this location at night. The staff were nice but smoked while we were in the building and the overall experience was unsettling. I will never pickup or return a UHaul to that location again and if I use UHaul again I will do research on the location I am asked to pick up from in advance to decide if I am comfortable being there.

This is the only place that I've ever been. Where you can only rent and return the truck from the same location. U haul should not be allowed to do this. It deliberately the contradicts your entire business model. And is confusing to the point of people, not even being sure what they 're being told. Like what?I have never in my life.Heard of a place that owns and operates their own.Uhaul equipment. This was some little rinky dink buy here, pay here in north saint louis. And they absolutely treated us like such. We felt lied to. And it ended up costing us about a $125 more than we planned on. Because of this man's misinformation. I called you hall several times to try and get them to change the location.They couldn't. This has been the absolute worst. Uhaul experience i have ever had my life.And I highly doubt I will ever use your service again due to how bad it was this time.

David CThere are no tail lights working on the truck. And returned truck on Sunday and come Tuesday it was still not closed out until we spoke with UHaul.
