Equipement was suppose to be ready at 10h but was not. Lost 45 min when my moving team is waiting. The service was horrible, the worker was unfriendly kind of unreal. Said to my father i dont talk to you because you dont have your contract. Was spitting everywhere even close to my boots. Was hardly on drug (is he aloud to drive like that ?) Was so stone that i had to pay 5 times in a row because he forgot to finish the transaction.... probably have more to said but in résumé that was a realy bad expérience.

Pour le kilométrage vous devrier avoir une charte d'une ville a une autre partant de votre magasin.sa fait tres longtemps que vous louez des camion et vous n'etes meme pas en mesure de calculer une distance ces a mon avis une facon malhonnete de faire plus d'argent .si votre camion coute 40 $ et qu'un clent ne sait pas combien de kilo il doit faire vous devier lui dire que ses 200$ ....l40$ n'existe pas ses seulement une attrappe ...en se qui me concerne je ne lourez plus de U-haul...

Trailer was dirty with gravel and sand. Person responsible for the equipment eventually "somewhat" cleaned it but made me feel I was bothering him. However, the person doing the contract part was very helpful and pleasant. My suggestion would be to hire people that seem to want to work there.

Premièrement, comme à l’habitude, une attente interminable d’au minimum 30 minutes avec seulement 4,5 personnes devant moi. Personnel sans aucune bienséance, gentillesse ou politesse ( elle a même quitté son poste pour aller à la salle de bains pendant une vingtaine de minutes...) sans même se faire remplacer! Nous étions alors 5 clients en attente... le camion que j’ai reçu avait clairement un morceau qui était cassé ou qui allait tomber dans la direction du côté droit avant, un grand bruit de métal qui cognait à chaque fois que je relâchais les freins.. ?? je conduis depuis plus de 40 ans et je n’ai jamais conduit en étant autant stressée sur la route qu’un morceau se détache et cause un accident!! Le lendemain quand je suis venue pour régler car j’avais laissé un dépôt de 200$ en argent, drôlement, selon la dame j’avais fait 71 km avec le camion quand j’avais fait un allé et retour sur la 25e avenue à montréal ce qui donnait en tout sur mon « Waze » plan de la route.. 16 km pour y aller et même chose pour le retour à 2 km prêt car je suis allée déposer un canapé chez moi et j’habite à environs 1 km du U haul. Eux, parce que j’ai eu la présence d’esprit de regarder, me chargaient 71 km!!!! C’est quand même à .41$ du km un beau 19$ de plus!!! ?? La personne qui s’est occupé.. (en tout cas) de moi, ne m’a pas remboursé et m’a dit de revenir quand le gérant serait présent pour régler le tout!!! Je n’y suis pas encore retournée.. aller attendre encore une fois un minimum de 30 minutes... grrrr À suivre... Si vous avez une autre option que U haul, en tout temps optez pour l’autre option, ne serait-ce que pour votre sécurité... nathalie

The girl at the front desk was kind of rude and constantly annoyed. Not just to me but even to her colleagues over her walkie talkie. That was a pretty bad experience, i would not want to be her coworker.

The truck smelled really bad, like someone had pee in it. Upon return, instead of coming toward me, the guy at the arrival was screaming from far and said to go inside. He then charged my credit card for the fees when I wanted to pay with my bank card. I also noticed no one has smile at any time. They did argued and complained about everything not working properly.

Beaucoup d'attente pour récupérer la remorque, même si j'avais fait un check-in en ligne, qui devait me faire sauver du temps. un seul employé au comptoir, pour le premier 15mn, (9h à 9h15), ensuite un 2ième est arrivé, mais il y avait déjà un line up jusqu'à dehors. Je suis arrivé à 8h55, et je suis ressorti à 9h50 avec la remorque. Beaucoup d'attente aussi pour la remise de la remorque. Une seule personne au comptoir. Je trouve qu'il y a abus de frais, lorsque je rapporte la remorque la 4ième journée, en fin de pm. On me facture un 24h de plus. Je trouve ça exagéré. Un demi-journée aurait été plus normale. Aussi, à ma connaissance, il est illégal de se promener avec une remorque qui n'a pas de roue de secours. Si c'est le cas, pourquoi n'y a-t-il pas de roue de secours sur les remorques que vous louer? Merci!

When I arrived to pick up the truck there was one gentleman at the counter and I had to wait 15 minutes do my turn. The gentleman was very curteous and patient with me but It was apparent the business was severely under staffed. I was 2nd in line when i showed up. When I left there were at least 6 others behind me. Given the time it takes to serve one client I feel bad for the others who probably had to wait nearly an hour. He kept trying to call for assistance o. The walkie talkie system but it seems either his colleague had turned off their walkie talkie or there was no battery. Once I was done in the office he told me to wait outside and someone would come to finalize the truck details. I had to go around the side and ask the guy in the back if he was going to come to see me or if I just had to take my own dolly and blankets and leave with the truck that had been running for almost 45 minutes. Afterwards i completed my move successfully however the truck I had seemed to have very serious transmission issues and made lots of noise. I have driven all kinds of cars in my life and if any one of them made any sounds like this I would have had them towed to prevent further damage. I felt like there was a lack of power and even took smaller roads instead of highway to be safe. When I dropped off the truck it was after hours so I didn’t get to express my dissatisfaction. The next day I promptly got my final invoice. This is around the 5th time I have rented a truck from uhaul and it’s the only negative experience I have had. But after this experience I will definitely look for other alternatives next time. It leaves me the impression that at least for this location that It is severely under staffed and the trucks are under maintained. Kinda like to say we are really too busy, here is a dying truck and load your own buggy and blankets... self serve. However I tip my hat to the gentleman In the office who was very patient and curteous amidst everything else.
