Jocelyn provided exceptional customer service. She opened her office earlier than expected so we were able to get our move completed faster than expected. She was most pleasant and accommodating to our needs.
The actual location was fantastic! The only problem was their app! They wouldn't allow us to drop it off and we had to call customer service. They fixed our issue promptly, but as always technology is finicky. Just make sure you have some spare time during pickup and dropoff.
I had great service with Jacqueline at the St. Clair location. She was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend all my friends and family at this location. I was very satisfied with the service I received.
Educate staff on drop off options
She (Unfortunately, I don't remember her name) was so helpful, she knew the equipment and extremely personable.
Your on line app doesn't work and it would not let turn in the vehicle on line so I got charged $20 extra dollars for nothing. No one would answer the phone to help me.
This location was good, but another location gave someone else the truck we rented and really didn't care. Reserved a truck at other location to get call back, oops didn't have one. Overall I would NEVER recommend or use Uhaul again.
This is the second time I used this location. Once for storage and the most recent for truck rental. They are not organized, do not follow promotions by uhual and low support.
The location is small and is located right next to a car wash so picking the truck up was a pain with the car wash customers. The truck was clean though and got the job done just beware picking it up in the morning you will have to go around the car wash customers.
Staff at this location was very informative; professional; and pleasant to deal with. Too bad all other interactions with Uhaul couldn't be this good.
Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped us at the St. Clair Fred Moore Hwy location, but she was exceptionally helpful and worked to ensure we saved as much money as we could. She made this part of our move effortless and I greatly appreciate it.
I dropped off the rental after hours and had no interaction with anyone there. It was easy enough to park the truck and drop the keys in a box.
Too expensive for renting
Bad experience. Was never given a contact number or receipt when booking. Quoted 71.00 chargeri 213.00. Was told to download app so I can get code to truck. It made me put in credit card again and a different rate. Used vehicle for for 5 hrs system would not allows to check in. On the phone with cs rep for an hour waiting for a traffic manger, did could not check it in. Was told that notes were in file and they would check it in on Saturday for us. Nope checked in on Tuesday. Very upset. Call the St. Clair uhaul, and they cannot help. I have to call their manager to get it resolved, bad service. They should be calling not me. Called Bethany their man and got vm.

You're not asking the right questions, you need to ask questions about the U-Haul service itself. I felt it was a bait and switch when I got there the price said 19.95 on the side of the van and then when I had to get the van it was a hundred and thirty some dollars. I will never use Uhaul again if I don't have to just for that reason right there
Wind shield wipers need to be replaced. Traction was very poor. Tires should be checked and probable replaced, On the good side the young lady working there was very nice.
Awful and we were lucky to get the truck back. The steering column came apart and the power steering went...never again.
First class operation. Will rent a moving truck again and storage unit, also.
I placed my van rental and then completed the check in registration. The check in process showed an estimate of your bill which matched with the verbal info from when I spoke to the U-haul staff placing my order. Then I arrive to pick up the van, you add on a $11 charge for CDW insurance coverage. I am requesting my $11 refund for this not communicated or in writing fee. You can not surprise your customers. This is not fair. I did not agree to this charge when you never told me about it until the rental pick up. Thank You, Dawn Forsyth 586-484-0082

Where should I start? My issue has nothing to do with the specific location, but my overall Uhaul experience. I booked a truck on a Monday, by Wednesday my reservation was not in the system when I called to confirm since I had not received a confirmation email. I rebooked online Thursday. By Friday, I was receiving a call to confirm a pickup time and location that were not what I had booked. When I called to fix this, I was told I had two reservations. Moving on to pickup. The location and staff was very friendly. That is the one plus of my experience. The truck, however, was a different story. It sounded like it was going to fall apart on the side of the road! I returned the truck to the drop-off that night. The drop-off, by the way, looked questionable as the signage was not very visible because of the giant liquor store in front. Anyway, this brings me to Sunday when I received an email that I had been charged an additional $57. When I called about it, I was told that I was charged an extra day. I'm not sure why since I returned the truck the same day I picked it up. I disputed the claim and received an email telling me the situation had been corrected by Monday. I had only moved my items to a storage unit as we are looking for a house. This means I'll need a truck again. However, after this experience, I highly doubt it will be a Uhaul. I'm sure my more than 300 Facebook friends and 600 Twitter followers would be happy to hear how you do business. Thank you.
My only issue is and I will call there are the charges. I was given a quote of $29.99 and that amount was charged twice. So I will call them for clarification. I expected the $29.99 charge , the mileage charge and $1 for something they explained but not the additional $29.99. My name is Pam and my number is 810-335-8835
