Checking in or out with the app. I had to try more than once to get checked in (took a while) and to check out, I ended up going into the store to do it.
richard fThe storage facility started out ok but towards the end of me moving out the process was horrible. Nobody answered the phones nor returned a call back. The security gate has been broken down for several months now with many complaints but nothing was done about it upon my departure. The storage unit I was renting was mice infested so all my belongings had to be done through and a lot was thrown away. I would say this storage unit is the worse I've ever seen and the reason I moved out. Gracias.

edward FI was there 7 years . Nit once did I have problem. Except I kept adding to the stuff in there. I would use again in heart beat if I needed too. Always had access. If I needed to ask anything they returned call right away.no problem with billing. It was a great place to store our stuff.

KANDI C | Overall ExperienceLocation was not open at 3pm in the afternoon when we went to drop off. There was no information to where to park the uhaul or instructions. Storage unit was in fenced lot with a coded gate. Office was in the parking area of a carwash. Note on door said to call with questions , no answer. We did not feel safe leaving the dolly in the back of unlocked uhaul, so we had to lock it in the front of cab to insure it was still there in the morning. We parked it along a fence and hoped for the best. Very poor setup. Worst location I have been to.
Brenda SThe appliance dolly I requested with my truck was not in it as the pickup stated it would be. I was picking up after hours and had to call the uhaul customer service. They sent me to another location the next day making it seem it would be easy to go in and give my reservation information to pick up the dolly. According to the worker at the second location it does not work like that, but he gave me a dolly anyway. Weird and stressful experience.

jason rDrive Shaft fell off the truck within 15 miles of driving! Was only able to move one load that day, really messed my moving plans. Made arrangements with uhaul to pick up another truck the next morning at Howard street (PtHuron) it took over a hour because they couldn't find my reservation that you people made for me. Wasn't even offered a discount for the hassle of the poorly maintained truck! I'll be renting a truck from you for the next several Wednesdays & Thursdays, I'd appreciate some kind of discount on one of my future rentals. On a better note every single person I've Dealt With was extremely helpful and kind! Especially a girl named Jody!

Anthony B...this was a Sunday pickup with no staff at the location....U-haul did everything Uhaul could to make sure that I never call Uhaul again .. Pick up..I show up an hour or so late...there is nobody there so it should not be a problem....I can't get my keys out if the box....I try using online help ..every time I do what they say..,I mean each step, I would be disconnected from the person I was talking. To and have to get a new person to help me.. terrible....so I call "customer service"..I definatly got the service. I am told that because I am late you can't get you truck...BTW..the website was not working properly...I spoke to several different people..nobody could help me..finally somebody told me that h could not have the truck that I was standing next to...rather I can have a truck in...either North/westbranch .an hour and a half away..and I get to pay for extra milage and gas ...so I keep calling....eventually..I contact o e lady who understands her job well...she gives me the code to the truck...it's now been over an hour and a half of arguing with U-haul before ONE GOOD female enjoyed gives me the code ..I have my truck . .the truck is making questionable engine noises...I drive it anyways....so..at the end of my truck use..maybe 430am...I try to return the truck...I call...I'm told use the website..I say it was broken earlier today and I really don't want to deal with it....nope I. Told the only way to turn in the truck is in the website....irritated as all hell..I start the website..then you want me to watch a training video...NO! I do not work for you...you work for me....so tell the lady that no I am not watching a trai I g video...I am told that I will be charged $20 extra for not watching YOUR training video...so I leave and get charged....I never even looked at what you charged me..I am just going to assume that you charged me for filling the truck up with gas also .I got it at 1/4 tank.....and ..the ONE good female employee you have told me that management was supposed to call me... Management never called me....YOU SUCK SO BAD.....I rent a truck 3-4 times a year ...UHAUL is nolonger a possibility for me....
Harry KImprove by making it easier to self scan check in. I wasted over an hour of moving time trying to get the truck 'cause the office was closed in St Clair, MI. I called the U-Haul service number and it said 85 min wait! So frustrating!
Monica LApp wouldn't work to return 2nd truck.Location contacted me and said would be open Monday the 8th but they where not. I expected that it was a Holiday. Called the Customer service and they couldn't get the app to work for me tried different phone numbers. spent 3.5 hours attempting with 2 long hold times. They did put notes on account so will know later today if that helps. All in all was an alright experience. Not as good as my other experiences.
Roy MReturning my rental to this location was a complete and total nightmare. When I made my reservation, this was the location selected to return my U-Haul as it was within walking distance of my personal vehicle (I moved from North Carolina to Michigan and do not have family that could give me a ride in Michigan). I was scheduled to return the truck by 12:00 pm on Friday, August 6th. I arrived on time and the office was closed. I called the 800 number for U-Haul for assistance, and the representative told me that there was nothing he could do and that I would be charged late fees since no one was there to check in my vehicle. I was in shock. I did my part, drove cross country and was there on time to return the vehicle, and had made the reservation accordingly, and now was being told it was my problem that the office was not open? I will never, ever rent from U-Haul again. Ryder, Penske, any and every other truck rental company will be my choice going forward but never again will I rent from U-Haul.
JOHN CThe truck, although new (7,630 miles), is in need of repairs. The drivers door handle broke and would not work. The door opens but only from inside the vehicle. The passenger door was not installed tightly when it left the factory causing the insulation on the door to fit loose. This prevents air and noise from entering the cabin. Therefore, when talking with the driver you need to yell in order for them to hear you. We wore ear plugs when driving because of the noise.
Kurt VThe unit was leaking and wet. I should have been given a refund because of its poor condition and the fact that I never moved in. Terrible customer service. You lost a customer for good.

MARK AJocelyn provided exceptional customer service. She opened her office earlier than expected so we were able to get our move completed faster than expected. She was most pleasant and accommodating to our needs.
WILLIAM CThe actual location was fantastic! The only problem was their app! They wouldn't allow us to drop it off and we had to call customer service. They fixed our issue promptly, but as always technology is finicky. Just make sure you have some spare time during pickup and dropoff.

Robert HThis location was good, but another location gave someone else the truck we rented and really didn't care. Reserved a truck at other location to get call back, oops didn't have one. Overall I would NEVER recommend or use Uhaul again.

Marcus LI reserved this unit under my name and for some reason they put it under my husband's account as an added unit, people on site are rude and unprofessional as well. I will be moving storage units ASAP
SUSAN C | ReservationThe location is small and is located right next to a car wash so picking the truck up was a pain with the car wash customers. The truck was clean though and got the job done just beware picking it up in the morning you will have to go around the car wash customers.

Richard BUnfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped us at the St. Clair Fred Moore Hwy location, but she was exceptionally helpful and worked to ensure we saved as much money as we could. She made this part of our move effortless and I greatly appreciate it.
Taylor WI dropped off the rental after hours and had no interaction with anyone there. It was easy enough to park the truck and drop the keys in a box.

Pete LBad experience. Was never given a contact number or receipt when booking. Quoted 71.00 chargeri 213.00. Was told to download app so I can get code to truck. It made me put in credit card again and a different rate. Used vehicle for for 5 hrs system would not allows to check in. On the phone with cs rep for an hour waiting for a traffic manger, did could not check it in. Was told that notes were in file and they would check it in on Saturday for us. Nope checked in on Tuesday. Very upset. Call the St. Clair uhaul, and they cannot help. I have to call their manager to get it resolved, bad service. They should be calling not me. Called Bethany their man and got vm.

Sandra BYou're not asking the right questions, you need to ask questions about the U-Haul service itself. I felt it was a bait and switch when I got there the price said 19.95 on the side of the van and then when I had to get the van it was a hundred and thirty some dollars. I will never use Uhaul again if I don't have to just for that reason right there
Gary HWind shield wipers need to be replaced. Traction was very poor. Tires should be checked and probable replaced, On the good side the young lady working there was very nice.

ERIC LI placed my van rental and then completed the check in registration. The check in process showed an estimate of your bill which matched with the verbal info from when I spoke to the U-haul staff placing my order. Then I arrive to pick up the van, you add on a $11 charge for CDW insurance coverage. I am requesting my $11 refund for this not communicated or in writing fee. You can not surprise your customers. This is not fair. I did not agree to this charge when you never told me about it until the rental pick up. Thank You, Dawn Forsyth 586-484-0082
