Very quick checkin and hookup. The Mills Station UHaul facility is very easy to access from Hiway 50 and Folsom Blvd. I have been using the UHaul center on Pyrite Ave in Gold River but I like the customer service at Mills Station more.

I picked up the truck and it did not register full so I put 33 miles on it and put in 10 gallons of gas it still did not register full and I was charged another 14 dollars for fuel . It was a rip off - the fist time I had this happen at I haul.

Truck was dirty inside with dog hair everywhere. Also the fuel was off. I was told they'd make a note but when I returned it, the guy was very rude, calling me a liar. I'll avoid this location because of that guy.

This location absolutely needs to have customer service staff present--had to wait fifteen minutes, in a completely deserted front room, at 9:10a on a Saturday to pick up: no U-Haul rep whatsoever on-hand. Needed to wait twenty minutes to return the vehicle--again, no rep on-hand at 4:40p on a Saturday. At the time of the return, there was also a couple waiting to pick up a vehicle--who had apparently been called from the same location within the past half-hour to indicate that their vehicle was ready. That said...at least the equipment was clean (well-maintained, not so much--alignment was badly off, and the passenger front tire badly under-inflated).

Only one staff to attend to all the customers. This is terrible!!!. Why should customers wait for hours and hours to be served. Some customers had to leave unattended. You guys are losing money. I'm not coming back there.

I learned the hard way that your locations sometimes forward their phone calls. (And I think the couple standing behind me had the same thing happen.) I went online, found my preferred location, called and made a reservation, and when I got there the next morning, was told I was at the wrong location. So the employees need to ALWAYS ask the customer or confirm with the customer, what location they are planning to go to for their pickup. This is a totally unacceptable and unnecessary thing to have happen to someone. There is often a lot of stress related to moving, and this was something I didn't need. My preferred location, offered me a different vehicle which I declined at first, then came back and accepted. Didn't want to/and really didn't have the time to drive across town to the other location. So while my rating for the location I worked with was positive, my rating for U-Haul reservations policy is an "F".

Make sure truck is clean inside n out. Windows dirty n seatbelt passenger side locked up every single bump we hit pulled to right n air conditioning wasn't working half way thru ride gas gauge was off also

I rented online and received a voicemail telling me I couldn't pick up the size I requested from this location. The female I spoke to spoke very fast and was not easy to understand. It was frustrating that I had to go to a different location to pick up the truck I had ordered...the new location turned out to be less than a mile away. I felt that doing business with UHaul this time around was very cumbersome. I ordered online ahead of time to eliminate any hassles. I had to pick up on Wednesday evening instead of Thursday morning which was a bit inconvenient.

I would not recommend U-Haul to anybody. After driving to three different locations in three cities I finally had the truck I had reserved. 3.5 hours later I had the truck I had reserved but my help had other obligations so I only had help moving for a short period. I had to keep the truck an extra day and found myself moving everything by myself. Several promises of a refund and discount fell short after I received an invoice for 3x the amount I had planned and budgeted even though when checking out I had selected the option to dispute the charges.

Clearly notify people that if you make a reservation your allotted time begins at the time you expect to arrive NOT at the actual time you arrive to pick your rental.

The staff on duty told me I wasn't supposed to drop it off at that location even though I explained U-haul had specifically given me that location.She had a terrible attitude.
