The assistant manager was wonderful. a lot of trucks came in at once and he remained calm and gave each one of use very professional and quick service. This is why I only use Uhaul.

Have the employee taking phone reservations listen to what the customer is looking for. I told the employee on the phone I would need a pick-up truck for 24 hours (5:00 pm - 5:00 pm and when we rented the truck a different employee (in the store) said I had to have it back by 10:00 am in the morning. I told her about the previous conversation and she said they would deal with it in the morning. I thanked her very much. We always use this location as it is near our home & very clean. The employees are very courteous.

staff was extremely helpful , we wound up in need of a truck earlier then our reservation and they were able to offer us a smaller available vehicle which handled the job perfectly . we finished earlier than expected and saved well over the original expected cost. can't thank the staff enough for their expertise and pleasant helpfulness.

This experience was horrible. I called and confirmed my pick up and was told my boxes would be ready. I then got multiple phone calls stating they would be ready. Then I got another call stating I need to change my pick up time because they were going to be too busy to help me. I tried to call the day of pick up and my call was forwarded to a call center that didn't have any correct information. When I showed up it took over an hour to get my boxes ready then I was told the truck I had would not pull 6000 lbs when it pulls 6500 lbs... I had to spend another $100 and rent a truck. The employee Guy... did what he could to help. After everything was done I got another call asking if I was done with my ubox... I dropped it off the day before... your company needs to work on their communication skills!!

THE ONE THING I HOPE IS RESOLVED IS: WE REFUSED THE $14 INSURANCE CHARGE WHEN WE COMPLETED OUR EXPRESS CHECK OUT ONLINE. HOWEVER, WHEN WE CHECKED OUT AT THE LOCATION, THE MAN IN CHARGE HAD INCLUDED THE CHARGE WITHOUT ASKING. HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE IT OFF BY THE TIME WE RETURNED. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. HE THEN SAID HE WOULD REMOVE THE CHARGE AFTER THE RECALCULATION OF OUR MILEAGE. I AM HOPING THIS IS DONE. IN THE ALTERNATIVE: I HOPE THIS NOTE IS READ AND SOMEONE CHECKS WITH US TO SEE IF THE CHARGE WAS INDEED REMOVED.

I picked up my cargo van at 9am and there were already 2 people ahead of me. There was only one worker there checking us in and bringing the trucks/vans around. Only 1 suggestion is to have maybe 2 workers checking in people. Otherwise, I was happy.

Vehicle was dirty and had a ton of damages. I have pictures of the vehicles damages from before hand. The interior lights did not work. I cleaned the vehicle the best I could to avoid cleaning fees.

The experience turned out very good because I ended up deciding to cancel my Uhaul rental after getting everything paid for because I realized that renting it didn't end up making sense. I was worried I may still have to pay for a day or at least a fee but no, the representative canceled it no questions asked.

My reservation was originally made at a closer location, and switched automatically to a further location. This was said to be done based on supply. But it added to milage and cost, so I am suspect that there might be other motivations as well. The employees that work the counters are always helpful and quick.

Include the address and/or a map on the email confirmation page. When I booked the reservation, I failed to write down the address. Then when I started to drive there, I pulled up the email confirmation on my phone to get the address, but neither the address or phone number was listed.

My problems are with the registration process. I did an online reservation and got a confirmation and then waited all day with no call to let me know where to pick up a truck. When the time came for when I needed the truck, I went to my "preferred location" and was given the "we have nothing for you, why are you here" speech. They did get on the phone and helped with a reservation but I then had to drive an extra 20 minutes and 10 more miles out of the way to get a truck at a new location (after a little frustration because they couldn't find me in the system nor had a truck initially but they did get a timely return to help me). So this added over 4 hours to my day because of the hassle of not having the truck where the online system said it was available and no call for confirmation. Very poor customer service ... again. I've rented a truck for many years and the last 3 years has been very poor when it comes to making the reservation, finding a location to actually get a truck, and then hassles last year in trying to return a truck. I've definitely written off U-Haul after this latest experience.
