I know you can only do so much with a 26ft truck but if it was front wheel drive or had better gas mileage I would have had a perfect experience. 400+ dollars in gas was twice what I planned as I got about 7mpg the whole trip.

Not a full-service U-Haul outlet. Had to go to a different location to get my blankets. U-Haul sent me here because my #1 choice did not have a 5x8 trailer. They should make damn sure they have everything on an order before they send you somewhere you did not ask for. Don't like that crap at all. A personal contact is preferred to an impersonal directive.

Computer problems caused a long delay in getting the truck. Uhaul gave a 50 dollar refund but this delay caused lots of wasted time for people who volunteered and those I paid to help move.

The after hours drop-off process is a joke with Uhaul corporate. The app or web based drop-off didn't work. It kept trying to send account validation codes to an email address that was not linked to my phone. I tried to have it send to my phone via text... but the codes didn't work. I ended up leaving the trailer at the drop-off location and putting the contract in the night box. The app and web based experience needs some help. It is horrible... and I am pretty tech savvy.

Have your people check for dirt, trash, filthy moving blankets, etc inside your rentals and try to rent clean, tidy units.

When a customer reserves a vehicle in advance, the onsite location should alert the customer that their location is not open on the day reserved. I was told the day before I needed the van that this location was not open on Sunday (understandable), but they knew this three months prior. I could have made different arrangements.. Poor actions lead to poor reactions.
