I dropped off on 6/10 when the location was closed. When I called to check on my return this morning I was reprimanded for dropping in the wrong spot; even though there was nothing to mark where return should be dropped. Just a big gravel lot with a bunch of trucks and trailers in it. Furthermore, I received a $10 charge to my credit card this morning from this location, purportedly for cleaning. I don’t recall seeing anything in my rental contract about an additional cleaning charge. This seems like a ripoff to me and I haven’t yet decided whether or not to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

The first truck we attempted to rent had balding tires. She gave us another one which smelled terribly of cigarettes and had dents and scratches around the vehicle. The woman did not want to get out of her seat to help. We also were told to take a picture of the mileage and fuel on my phone to show her when we came back. I assume so she didn’t have to get up. We were disappointed overall in the condition of this truck. The shocks are bad and we bounced after every bump in the road and we ran nearly 600 miles on this trip. I would not rent from this location again. The shame is it’s close to my location.

The truck reeked of cigarettes and there was a pack still in it and the ashtray was full of cigarette butts. Also, there was broken glass all in the back of the truck. I reserved a Dolly and there was not one available but I was still charged fot it.

I was told that no one would look me up in the system. Therefore, I had to make a copy of my contract and leave it at this location in order to drop off the auto transport after-hours (to get it out of the way during my move) the day before I returned the truck. I would only recommend this location if it was close to the customer's moving address.

Truck was not terrible dirty but not sewept out called day before about picking up at other location although made reservations weeks before got worked out easy pick up but they were calling someone with reservations that they had no truck great on drop off end blue ash ohio

I believe the person running the front desk name is Barbara. She made this experience poor. I scheduled my rental online because the location wasn't open when I decided to begin the process. The online booking allowed me to book a cargo van for 4:30 on Friday afternoon. I got a poorly composed email from Barbara where the entire content was in the title, rather than the body of the email telling me that they close at four and I needed to call to reschedule because my voicemail is not working. Mind you, this was three hours before I was due to pick up the van. I manage a large store in Charlotte and cannot drop everything to call to reschedule an appointment that had already been verified online. However, I moved breaks around so that I could call and find out what was going on. When I told her who I was, Barbara immediately started lecturing me on how I needed to fix my voicemail system because it wouldn't let her do anything (which is not the case, I use my phone for business, and the voicemail is fine). After her lecture, I told her that I was working and needed the time that was agreed upon online to which she replied that she had an appointment and needed to leave at exactly four so I would need to leave work early to get there before then. Again, I cannot leave the business I run, which is why I scheduled the pickup for that particular time. I then told her that I had selected the mobile pickup, so she wouldn't have to be there. Which launched her into another lecture on how they don't do that because they had issues with it the past. This is not my problem, and as a customer I don't need to know that. She then told me that she would have to reach out to the man that owns to business to see if my agreement could be honored and that she would have to call me back, ending the call with another lecture about my voicemail not working. By this point, I was so angry that I couldn't even form words. I calmed down and called her back to tell her to cancel the rental, that it wasn't worth it anymore. To which she lectured me about how it was the end of the month and I wouldn't find another rental anywhere in town. I wanted to be done with the interaction and needed the van, so I just gave her my credit card information over the phone and ended the call. I will not be returning to this location for rentals in the future. It was the worst customer service experience I've had in quite some time. No customer needs lectures about technology from an annoyed customer service individual who acted like I was inconveniencing her because I did my rental online, using the mobile pick up which the website suggested that I do. It was ridiculous.

Trailers need to be clean and free of ants before the next customer rents one. There were five trailers available when I came to pick my rental up. All five were dirty inside and four of them had an ant infestation thru out the whole inside of the trailer. The older guy working in the office seemed very confused and must have asked me six times about my online reservation and name. He could not get me a receipt or paperwork printed out. I had to literally tell him to write down my rental information manually so that I would have written confirmation of picking up a trailer. It would have been helpful to have another person working just to help out with all the customers coming in at once.

TO BE NOTED: I have rented from this Locations about 4 or 5 times... each time has been very good. BUT, the first truck assigned this time... had NOT been inspected closely. Two inches of tire tread was missing, the cords clearly visible, around the entire tire. The truck no doubt had been stuck in mud, all the tires muddy, the drivers floor, thought wiped down, was covered in mud. The engine was 1 quart low of oil. Lucky I did a full CDL inspection. The next assigned truck was perfect.

The gentleman working Saturday morning was very argumentative and ride with the customer ahead of me. I arrived at 8:05 am five minutes after this location opened for my 8:00am pickup ( I had already completed express online check in) and due to the lack of professionalism or willingness to even listen to the customer ahead of the me I did not receive my rental until 8:45am. Having to wait 45 minutes is a little ridiculous I didn't have anywhere I had to be at the moment but this is not how customers should be treated. He seems to have no understanding of how the online rentals work. Refusing to verify information that was already present in a customers confirmation email is asinine. I will go to one of the other locations in my city next time even though this is the closest to my home.

The tank was 3/4 full, and they said it was full. I ended up putting over 8 gallons of fuel in the van for an 80 mile trip. Will not use this location again.
