Jimmy claimed that the office opened at 9am when myself and another woman had a reservation at 8:30am. All of the online sources and our reservations claimed the location opened at 8:30am. He came in at 9:10 causing us to be very late with our schedule. He was very rude and customer service was gone. I prepaid online and he still told me I had to pay. He continued to tell me how inconvenient it was to him and how much he hates people prepaying because it makes his job harder making me feel like I'm the one who did something wrong and I was the reason I was holding people up and not because he showed up almost 40 min late to work after also having time to pick up McDonalds. Very poor customer service and I will probably not choose uhaul again because of this poor customer service from people in these offices. I was hoping to actually get some money refunded back to me because of this and how I wasn't able to leave with my truck that I prepaid for until almost an hour and 20 minutes late because of this man who represents your company. Very dissatisfied and I'm hoping for some compensation and compensation to the woman who was there with me in the morning in order to hopefully give us a reason to maybe choose your company over several other moving companies again in the future. Thank you and I hope no one else has to deal with these issues again.

Renting a truck online was easy. Picking it up in Charlotte was easy. Returning it to the place we agreed to return it to, not so much. First off, nobody was available to check us out that we had returned the rental as agreed on in the contract. If we hadn't pretty much demanded to be given a receipt stating it was returned, it would have been our word against theirs. The person that normally deals with the rentals wasn't available. That's unacceptable. There should always be people available at every available rental property that involves U-hauls. The next day we got a call from U-haul asking us to return the rental because someone else had rented it. We told them we had already turned it in. It took several calls back and forth. That shouldn't have happened to us. It was from a lack of communication from the rental properties and not us. Disappointing.

I arrived with no reservation at the Uhaul at McGee Rd and India Hook, Rock Hill, SC. They did not have a truck for rent. The owner checked the internet and found a truck at the Baskin Road, Rock Hill SC Uhaul facility. Both places were very professional and helpful, despite my mistake in not getting a reservation beforehand. Thanks! They saved the day.

Make sure the correct address is listed. There are 2 yards, my GPS took me to a drop yard about 200 yards away. Around the bend is the actual location.

Make sure that they put the supplies that u paid for in the truck. 4th time I have rented from uhaul and fourth time they forget to put a hand truck in the truck. Uhaul is also not transparent before you rent the truck. Don't ask for nearest location and then send me 10 miles away.Will not use u haul again unless they do something to regain my trust and recommendation.

The guys were nice and helpful. This is my 6th uhaul rental in about 4 yrs. The truck had more miles than on the computer by about 60 and they could not change it on my receipt but did make up for it when i turned it in. The truck back end was full of dog hair. The cab smelled like hound dogs who had not been bathed in years. One of the employees came out and sprayed some bathroom air freshener so it smelled like pine hound dog. I had to leave the windows open for a couple of days and fabreeze it to drive it home. The blow knob on the heater/ac was missing. Had to turn it on with borrowed pliers and use the on off setting to control the blow either on or off. The truck ran well.

Your uhaul Web app, to check the truck back in is painful. My phone didn't have enough storage for all the stupid pictures, yet has enough for everything else I do. This the 2nd time I've had issues with the uhaul Web application. I am not going for a 3rd strike and will seek alternatives from now on!

The office worker was smoking inside the office while I was there with my 7 year old daughter, couldn't get his computer to work and made us sit and wait for 50 minutes while he was trying to process us even though I checked in online to "cut wait time in half" and began writing my credit card information on a piece of paper without my permission....? What in the world?!?! Then he processed my credit card two times! I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone and will likely never use UHAUL again.
