Add staff! The guy who waited on me when I picked up the trailer was very gracious considering how busy the store was and how he appeared to be the only employee. He handled a line of five customers, phone calls, a school bus driver needing to fill up with propane and, unfortunately, had to try to address a fellow who entered without wearing a face covering.
I will think twice before I book next time. Preferred location means preferred for customer, not all the uhaul locations that don't seem to want to earn your business. Tried a couple of places closer to my residence and received no effort to want my business.
When I made my reservation I had selected a different location. Nothing alerted me that my pickup location changed. When I went to where I originally made the reservation the clerk said she saw my reservation, but she didn't have a truck. She sent me to another location that may have extra. I went there but they didn't have any extras. He looked up my reservation and saw where the correct location was and check for me and gave me directions to get there. Also I called customer service and was on hold for over 15 minutes before I hung up.
Truck was ready and waiting with the keys in it when i got there. Check in and return was quick.

The truck had bad front end problem which made my move out of town much longer and more difficult.

I found out that I needed to rent a small open trailer just a few hours prior to picking it up. I called up the local rental center and they took care of me. It was a perfect experience.
On the second day of the use of the U-Haul truck the dolly well the thing to hold the dolly snapped so I was charged two days for the use of a dolly that I did not use because of the moving and the things that I had in the truck it popped the green string on the dolly but I was still charge For The use of the darling I explain to the young man that I swept behind because we did have scraps of debris and stuff behind the Dalles I swept behind it but I was do you charge for a dolly that I did not enjoy and I did not use I will never rent from U-Haul on Hershberger Again and I will not Adverse anyone to come there I believe that treatment was so unfair The plastic that is used to hold the dolly needs to be a much stronger it's a simple piece of plastic that easily can be popped

It wasn't made clear and obvious that the dolly and furniture blankets I had reserved would need to be picked up inside the building instead of already being in the back of the truck. I had to go back for them after driving off the lot without them. Clearer communication about this would've been helpful.
Horrible service, horrible customer service
Send the GM to a Dale Carnegie course.Quite rude. Doesn't seem to be proficient with computers/technology. I've been renting a trailer almost every week for the past few months and this guy was as bad as I've ever seen. I'll be looking for a new location to rent from.

Frequent user credits?? See my other comments. I've rented three vehicles the past week. Antique business is growing and I don't plan to buy a truck or trailer anytime soon.
Loyal, regular customers should be offered discounts or frequent use credits. I have an antique busy and plan to use your services or Penske. I prefer UHaul because of your location. Would use more often if I had better rates on bbn mileage. Truck rental was great but cn mileage will hurt me in the long run as I continue to buy estates.
You had wrong equipment. 17' truck was ordered,15' truck supplied. I was never notified
Equipment had worn out springs and tires would not stay properly inflated. Trailer was filthy

The online check-in process was a nightmare, but I think that's more U-haul's fault than this particular location.
