I dropped it off to a guy that was standing out front. He had a very strange vibe to him as he was staring off into the distance not noticing me standing next to my 26' Uhaul waiting for help. Once he returned to earth he was nice enough.

All the staff I worked with were courteous and professional. However, there were Not enough staff - very long wait time. Very dissapointed in the transfer of information from online to storefront. When I arrived, they did not have my equipment, saying it was at a different location. When that location was called to confirm, there was no answer. I made it work with an alternative but I was very dissaponted and frustrated by the experience.

Employees not very helpful. Location is hard to get in and out of and congested. Truck was needs to be scraped, it has been crashed and repaired too many times.

We set up the rental at another location, but were not informed that the pick up location changed. We arrived to get the truck and were sent to another location. I received an email, but it did not indicate a change of pick up location, it did suggest that if I wanted to call Uhaul the number was provided and it listed the address as the new pick up location, but it was absolutely not clear that we needed to go to a different site for pick up. We had a little mechanical trouble with the truck. Twice after coming to a stop the truck did not engage the drive gear. We then put the truck in neutral and when we returned it to Drive, it engaged. We weren't in danger on either occasion, but it could be dangerous for someone on the freeway if traffic is bad.

The truck had a service light on from the second I drove it off the lot. It would be good to only give out trucks for cross country trips that are in the best shape possible.

Super helpful. Central location. Many truck size options. Clean rental truck and well-maintained. Positive - any licensed driver can drive. Negative - Gas tank not full and having to guess how much gas to put in the tank. We ended up “donating” at least 1/8-1/4 tank of gas.

I think using the app to check in is stupid since you have to go in to the center and stand in line anyhow what is the use of doing it on the app which takes forever.

Not the fault of uhaul, but its very diificult to get in and out of this place. Also parking lot is difficult to maneuver around because its packed with trucks and trailers.

Please be sure to include all the customer requested. I ordered a dolly to be provided and I did not receive one. I was told I’ll be refunded the money for one, but in the receipt I received upon returning the U-Haul I was still charged for the dolly.

I ordered the trailer online from the Oddie location and even after an online confirmation, I was told that I would have to go to a different location to get my trailer but that I could drop it off at the Oddie location. When I went to drop off the trailer at the end of the day I was told that I have to drop it off where I picked it up from. The people at both locations were friendly but the computer system not knowing what is or isn’t on site really needs to be addressed as this was very frustrating.

I reserved a 5x8 with ramp and the trailer was not there. They upgraded me to a 6x12 that was way too heavy and unsafe for my Dodge Dakota. The 6x12 was very dangerous and unsafe to tow. I had to bring the oversize trailer back and do another reservation for a smaller, safer trailer. U-Hauls inability to have my reserved trailer available on the date I needed it completely changed my moving plans and the plans of the people helping me.

When I dropped off the Uhaul, the young boy who picked it up for us was extremely rude. I politely told him that he was very disrespectful and that, as a customer, I didn't appreciate it. His reply was to just walk away. I've been here before and was happy with my service, but am so upset about this incident that I will probably take my business elsewhere.

I made my online reservation at the Silverada Ave Sparks location. When I showed up the gal told me they had no trailers and that my reservation had been transferred to another location miles away. No one notified me. This is just wrong. Don't take online reservations if you can't fulfill them. The paperwork then had the wrong return time. The check in App did not work when I brought back the equipment (it went to a "loading" screen which never completed. I had to call and sit on hold for 10 minutes and then was told no one could check in the trailer because they are busy. Overall a miserable experience. The website and app are both worthless.

I would have given this location a 5 star except I was given a price on a bike hitch carrier and was assured that the one I was interested in was in stock. I decided later in the week to purchase and have the bike carrier installed. After waiting an hour the installer brought my truck around with the wrong carrier installed. I discussed the model I was purchasing and was informed by him that that model hasn’t been in store for a long time. I stated that employees checked specifically the stock level and assured they were available. It was a big waste of time for me as we were in the middle of a out of state move but also for the installer. I had it removed and the transaction canceled. Very frustrating since I wanted a carrier for the move. I was forced to go to a local bike shop and purchase the Thule I wanted. Not good to loose sales.

I made a reservation for a 20 ft truck to be picked up at 7 am on June 3, 2018. As it was a Sunday, I was unable to get the truck till 9 am. When I arrived at 9, the truck I reserved was unavailable. The woman helping did not apologize. She called the central line and put me into a 26 ft truck. There really wasn’t any other choice but to accept this truck as I needed to move on that day as scheduled, even though it was way too big. The truck I received also had sticky stains all over the center consol. It was disgusting. On top of that, it was over 100 degrees out and the ac did not work for my 3.5 hour drive. My father in the truck with me got physically ill. When I arrived in Sacramento and unloaded the truck it was too late to return it and be able to speak to someone about these issues so I took it in this morning instead. The man at the drop off location was then zero help. He refused to listen to my complaints and told me I would need to talk to the pickup location in order to have anything done as it would take him “days” to do anything. Instead of calling the pickup location because I did not want to get the run around I called the customer service line. I sat on call waiting for an hour and hung up. It is unacceptable. I expect a refund for my order. This was the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had.

Overall the truck was clean and seemed to be well maintained although the driver side wheel hub was leaking. When the truck was delivered to us the blankets nor the dolly were not in the truck and we had to ask for them. blankets were delivered but we never received a dolly.

Customer service was sub par. They were not helpful in selecting hardware nor did they help show us which trailer was ours or help hook it up. We asked to borrow a tool and they never brought it out to us either.
