Tried online check in, took 15 plus minutes for them to verify info I had already provided. Finally got the truck and it had unmarked damage on the outside, it was dirty in the back, torn seat, drink spills in the interior, and the tank was empty. Staff eventually replaced the truck, but it took 30 plus minutes to get everything sorted.
I made a reservation a week in advance just for the to call me the day before we moved and told me they don't have the size truck I needed and I could only have it for 5 hours instead of the original 12 my reservation was for. So they gave me a smaller truck then what I needed plus charged extra then what my reservation was for. The next day we moved our stuff and returned the truck to a different location than we picked it up ( which on the website it says you can drop them at any uhaul location) The next morning uhaul calls me asking we're their truck was. I told them I dropped it at a different location and the lady said she would charge me a wrong destination fee if we didn't pick it up and bring it. So we called the location we dropped it off at and they were closed. I called Uhauls 1800 number and the lady said they were gonna charge me for another day and I could bring it back the following day. Overall my experience with uhaul was awful
The young girl that mounted my trailer was far from an expert and a little rude. But they were swamped and seemed understaffed. The trailer worked awesome.
First canceled my reservation of three weeks then I ly gave me a 10 foot truck when I need d a t 20 foot truck then gave me a truck with barely any gas had to spend 60 to fill it up and still charged me 60 bucks for estimated milage and I have to fill the truck up at the end of the night with another 40 bucks cause I had to do two trip cause it was a ten foot truck not a twenty like I asked for and after stoping off the truck after hours it tried to tell me to spend another 86 bucks so yeah didn't like that so please get back to me asap about this whole situation
I made a reservation but they didnt have it when I showed up to get it. I was sent to 4 different locations and told at each location they didnt have the car dolly until the last place found it.
Staff was expedient and efficient.
need to hire more staff to cater to the customers needs this particular U-Haul location appears to be extremely busy and when we went to pick up our truck we had to wait quite some time , nevertheless I would recommend you haul...
Everything was ok for me no improvements needed fast efficient service I definitely use their service again
More communication about the mileage breakdown for long distances. Was not clear and end price ended up being a lot higher than was told.
The two gentlemen working were delightful. One checked me in and the other checked me out. They were both knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and made the experience easy and great!!
Please stop enforcing useless rules that require constantly wearing a mask. If people are afraid of catching a flu-like virus, they should stay home and let the rest of us continue to live normally.

Everyone was great. Truck was clean and did the job. Drop off was simple and easy.
Again, the self return process was horrible. I again had to fill out the form multiple times. Then it tried to charge me for a cleaning fee even though I returned it cleaner than I borrowed it. I hate your self service app. It really sucks.
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. My brother in law needed help renting a vehicle. I was told by the attendant that I could give my card number over the phone on the day of the reservation. When I called to complete the transaction, the attendant, a different person, refused to take my payment. This put my brother in law in a very bad position. This facility and possibly U-Haul will not be used by me ever again. Make one S.O.P and stick to it.

I would not recommend UHAUL next time a friend wants to move. The day before @ 1pm I found out that my 12x6 was not available and the closest one was 2.5 hours away and I needed to leave RIGHT than if I wanted to get to the rental to secure I had it for the next day's trip. I understand Covid is causing problems but not a SINGLE 6x12 in a community of 400k people is unacceptable. And to say that your "dispatch" did not see a problem coming is a straight up lie. The staff @ the Virginia office were amazing but the overall reservation process @ UHAUL is horrible.
After making reservations for the trailer and paying for it, i still had to do it again when I picked up the trailer. Being over 70 years old, I am trying to limit my contact with people for long periods of time. Having to take 30 minutes in the U-haul office to fill out paperwork is exactly what I was trying to avoid by making the reservation and paying for it via a phone call. BUT this U-haul location was 1000 time better than the last one - other than the paperwork..

We rented a trailer and they sent us out with faulty lighting and frayed wiring. The running lights didn't work at all. Huge inconvenience as we were driving at night, so also very dangerous.It damaged our vehicles wiring and we had to purchase an additional set of lights because the ones from uhaul were inoperable. They refunded us for having to buy new lights, but we still had a balance on the rental plus have to deal with the damaged wiring it did to our vehicle. Totally unacceptable and the person helping us was in a big hurry so obviously didn't go through the safety checklist.
Location was fine and don't have any service complaints. However the booking process was a nightmare via the website and even over the phone. Everyone was professional, but getting a confirmation online, then receiving a cancelation notification is frustrating. So, i called uhaul directly and made a reservation over the phone which required me to drive an hour out of my way. Then receiving a call a few hours later saying my 2nd reservation couldn't be completed the same day and they didn't have the auto transport i confirmed a couple of hours ago within 300 miles. I was offered a $50.00 credit for my troubles, but didn't help with my situation to move a car from CA to AZ. After I gathered my thoughts, i called back and inquired about a tow dolly instead of a full transport trailer and was able to secure the tow dolly. However i was towing a 1982 dodge d50 that required restoration and I was unsure if the tow dolly would work for my application. It all worked out in the end, but left me with some hesitations about future uhual rentals.
