The process to get our keys took us 2 hours. The computer system didn't work at this location and the man running the store didn't seem to know the system either. My original reservation, that I made online several days prior, was somehow cancelled, so I had to start the process over and had to deal with a not helpful rep from the Call Center, as I had to beg for the rental to be for the original time frame I had signed up for. That was finally straightened out and I was able to go back into the rental location and get the keys. The man said, oh I forgot about you guys, as this all took at least an hour or so, after we waited almost an hour for help when we got to the location. Poor service all around. Well we then got some bad news from the Apartment complex that we were moving my Mother into, saying we couldn't move in until Friday. I tried reaching out via multiple phone calls, which all resorted in your phone system, â€œhaving technical difficultiesâ€ and hanging up on me. I also tried the chat function, several times, which all resulted in a poor experience due to not being assisted. That system also seemed to be having issues. I requested twice to extend our rental to Friday, late evening, in which we returned the truck to a main location. I wanted to update the location before we dropped off the truck, as well, but by this time, I was exhausted by all your technical issues. Moving is already a tough and exhausting time and this rental process made it so much worse. We appreciate the truck being available and the move being able to be completed, despite all the issues.
Fast friendly service. Was very nice about the fact that I needed to bring the truck back late.

When I arrived to pick up the truck at the second location ( since there was no one at the first location and we couldn't get thr Mobil check out to work properly), While I was there in person and working with the dealer to check out the truck, the dealer kept answering his phone and putting me on hold. This happened in excess of 6 times. It took over 45 min to get the truck. It hadn't been cleaned or prepped for me as the next customer - trash left in the cab and the box was filthy. All this in addition to not being able to check out the truck at the first location in Baldwin. Now, I have to allow that God orchestrated this experience for my good - it maybe that the other truck would have broken down or that in picking up the truck early we might have been in a crash or something else. So while my experience as a customer during the entire pick up process would have been very frustrating to most customers, I thank God for doing exactly as we prayer for in orchestrating the events of our day and trip. Praise God for His hand of protection during our trip (but also work on improving the service for those that aren't trusting God in their day).
There was only one worker with only one computer. He made his uhaul customers wait while servicing a huge line of parts customers. Both for pick up and drop off I waited for at least 45 minutes each time. Even when I made it to the front of the line he called up parts customers until all that was left was Uhaul customers. I will never use this location again. I am very disappointed.
Had to change locations from Ludington to Reed city Michigan when I got there wrong information on equipment to be used to tow my car behind a 10 foot truck. Revised that info to correct info then car was damaged. Need to submit a claim but can't reach UHaul international by phone.
Don't rent 10 foot truck when it snows more thanj2 inches lol Too lite in rear

Inside of truck was muddy and had a lot of candy on the floor.
My problem was with the 800 CSRs. When I had a flat tire on the transport trailer it took over an hour to find where I was at. The text with the link for the "locator" was only advertisement. No other option than ads. The uhaul.com site was more confusing than anything. It is not friendly.

Man at the counter was very surly. Was trying to juggle three to four other customers at a time instead of dealing with one and it ended up taking far longer to process everyone through.
tires were low on air , trailer was not very clean
They took advantage of me. I ended spending way over my limit (400)

Had reservation on credit card but the system insisted on cash deposit. First time in nearly a decade that the system failed me. I understand there may have been issues network wide earlier this week.

The trailer was available and waiting, however, when I got the trailer and started loading it we discovered one tire was not holding air. It looked fine until we had weight in the trailer and when I checked the tire pressure it was 10 psi. (Should be 55). When I pressed it up with an air compressor, you could hear the air hissing out of a hole in the treads. Another tire on the trailer was bald (less than 2/32" tread). When I called the store, they were no help and told me to call roadside assistance. I had to wait 2 hours to get the tires replaced. This trailer should not have been rented with the tires it had on it. If I had discovered this at the store, there wouldn't have been a trailer available for me, which is why I believe they rented it to me.
This will be the last time i use uhaul next time I'm going through penske or ryder
The dealer didnt seem to want to offer help. I was renting this truck for my son in law from Florida, and he was walking. I had to call their traffic department in order to get helped. He should have said "well let me see what I can do for you" instead of "we dont go get trucks and they dont bring us trucks".
