First I reserved a dolly along with the 10-foot truck. The dolly was not in the truck so I had to come back and pick it up. The truck had a weak/dead battery. I could not start the truck and had to call roadside assistance twice to jump start the truck. Fortunately it was after my moving completed. But I had to wait for 1 hour for the roadside assistance to come. The roadside assistance told me to not stop the truck while filling the gas, which sounds a little dangerous. I feel disappointed because the truck should be maintained, at least for the essentials like battery. At least three hours of time were wasted because of the dead battery.

Was overcharged $8.50 for fuel despite filling the gas tank beyond the full mark, with receipts and pictures that mark the same gas mileage. This was after being told by another Uhaul facility that they had rented out the 10ft truck I had reserved.

The truck given to me with very low oil and the tenant was hesitant to provide fish supply of oil until I asked for more oil or a different truck. The oil was eventually filled and I was on my way. The truck drove fine around town, however, on the freeway it was on the verge of terrifying to drive. The existing alignment created the need for consistent steering corrections and my moving help driving behind me co firmed while the truck was driving in the lane he could tell the truck was driving crooked as if the truck had been in an accident and caused frame damaged. I've used Uhaul countless times to move and this is by far the worst truck I've been given. Clearly this vehicle is unsafe and the tenant who checked me in upon return stated they had received similar complaints about the same truck from other customers. How did this truck get cleared for customers after multiple complaints. It should have never been made available to rent to a customer. I'm completely staggered and this has shaken my confidence in Uhaul. I will think twice about using Uhaul in the future because it is clear that either Uhaul or the tenants at the 1200 Alabama location do not take the safety of their products as seriously as they claim to.

The wait for help was a bit excessive. Granted there were plenty of customers there, so clearly everyone was busy. But I would've expected to get my order in less than 30 minutes, especially considering I did the quick check-in.

The equipment I reserves was unavailable, resulting in increased insurance cost and fuel usage. Trailer was not checked in properly resulting in a call saying I had not returned it. I drove to the location and saw the trailer parked in the lot, and it had been moved, so they knew it was there. Then I was charged an extra day. I have called four times and customer care has sent 3 messages to the manager, but nobody from this location has called me back.
