The authorization process was extremely unclear. I was not made aware that I needed to have two verified contacts at the ready to answer a verification phone call. While I did have two people who were able to answer the phone, this process took more than 40 minutes to resolve. Additionally, when the agent could not get through to my contacts initially, although they had their phones in front of them and never received a phone call when the agent said she called them, the agent then proceeded to tell me there was no way I could go through with my U-Haul rental. This was incredibly distressing as yesterday, 11-28, was the only day I was able to move my belongings. After I repeatedly asked for an alternative method to verify my account, the agent told me I needed to use my passport. I had a picture of my passport but she said she could not use that. I found that to be asinine as I was at the UHaul location ready to move my belongings, to which I did not have my physical passport on me, and I assume most people would not have their physical passport with them either. I understand due process but when it is unclear and there is a woefully unhelpful agent "assisting" you, it is frustrating and took away from the allotted time I had rented the vehicle for.

Hi, I'm disgusted with the company because, I delivered the truck with the same amount of fuel that I received, and they charged me $ 48 dollars for not delivering it with half a tank. I have the photos showing the miles and the amount of fuel.

The trailer lights caused me issues throughout the trip and failed to work often requiringe to stop and wiggle the wiring to get connection back.

The young man at the drop-off reception was immediately available -- came outside when he saw me pull up -- and swift in closing out the rental. He was also incredibly warm and friendly, such a gift at the end of an exhausting day of moving.

We Gas was fine. Everything was in order. The customer service rep who helped me on the phone was great. The U-Haul app and the experience of picking up the van were T E R R I B L E. It took 55 minutes, 45 of it on the phone, to get checked in. The app and website are in desperate need of fixing. Also, I should be notified ahead of time if I need to have my passport on me to pick up a rental van.

took 3 hours to pick up a trailer because pieces were missing for wiring. we had to go to the store and purchase items for the trailer to work. employee offered to just "hard wire" to our truck because light on trailer failed to work....are you kidding me?!

I had the attendant at We Gas check my gas gauge, put $3.00 of gas into the truck, then tell me I'm all set. The next day I get a bill for 13.84 for 1/2 gallon of gas. I called they said they would refund it and I haven't heard from them or received a refund.

It was just a little awkward returning the truck, not a lot of space in the lot, so we pulled in, and let the owner park it.

My original reservation was taken, UNDER MY NAME, and therefore it took an hour to scramble to find a new truck in a different location. The location was not a 24 seven pick up like I had originally requested and was further away which cost me more money and mileage. Upon arriving at 8 PM like I was told to do, the truck was left with the keys in it there was no way for me to note any kind of mileage any kind of gas or any kind of damage to the vehicle. There were no moving pads in the back of the truck, the fuel was left barely above empty, and there was no paperwork at all to say that I was even taking the truck. Seconds after I walked in Smitty greeted me by name, he had seen my online reservation and knew to expect me. I had filled everything out online so was in and out in minutes. The service was excellent. Highly recommend.
