My issue with this experience is based on receiving incorrect pricing info, and in general receiving conflicting information every time I called U Haul. Additionally, I called on Saturday 11/2 and was told a manager would call me Monday, however no one called and now it's Wednesday. I was told that if I return my rental truck earlier than anticipated, I'd be credited for the days I didn't use it. However, I was charged in full and was told I wouldn't be refunded for days I didn't even have the truck in my possession. I expect a credit for refunding the truck on Saturday vs Sunday, as was explained to me in my initial phone call, and I would also appreciate consideration for the fact that I received conflicting information and that on one has reached out as promised. The alternative person verification gave me a hard time. The person in the chat said that the verification was sent when it wasn't. And the system gave me a hard time because my home address if in RI and my license address is in NH.

The guy was late, when he told me he would be there earlier, said his car broke down, he did the contract on his phone and sent the paperwork via email. The truck stunk like a latrine, and then I was double charged 2 days later. This place sucks!!!

Need to get someone English! We didn't understand anything guy was saying. Couldn't understand how much he taking off credit card or cost itself. We even put extra gas in truck. No thank you or discount or anything. Bad experience! Hire someone with great English!

Owner told me could have the truck up too 6 hours even if the contracts said 330pm plus I've picked the truck up at 1250pm which hasn't give me enough time to do my errands this is unacceptable and should deal with great consequences

Don't go to this place I rented a U haul and swept it clean the gas station owner told me go wash the truck or I will be charged $25 cleaning fee I rented from other places and never once was treated with such disrespect i was appalled by the demeanor of that man

I reserved a van for 8 AM. The location was ten minutes late in opening and then slow in getting my reservation processed. I will not be renting from this location again.

The authorization process was extremely unclear. I was not made aware that I needed to have two verified contacts at the ready to answer a verification phone call. While I did have two people who were able to answer the phone, this process took more than 40 minutes to resolve. Additionally, when the agent could not get through to my contacts initially, although they had their phones in front of them and never received a phone call when the agent said she called them, the agent then proceeded to tell me there was no way I could go through with my U-Haul rental. This was incredibly distressing as yesterday, 11-28, was the only day I was able to move my belongings. After I repeatedly asked for an alternative method to verify my account, the agent told me I needed to use my passport. I had a picture of my passport but she said she could not use that. I found that to be asinine as I was at the UHaul location ready to move my belongings, to which I did not have my physical passport on me, and I assume most people would not have their physical passport with them either. I understand due process but when it is unclear and there is a woefully unhelpful agent "assisting" you, it is frustrating and took away from the allotted time I had rented the vehicle for.

Hi, I'm disgusted with the company because, I delivered the truck with the same amount of fuel that I received, and they charged me $ 48 dollars for not delivering it with half a tank. I have the photos showing the miles and the amount of fuel.

The trailer lights caused me issues throughout the trip and failed to work often requiringe to stop and wiggle the wiring to get connection back.

The young man at the drop-off reception was immediately available -- came outside when he saw me pull up -- and swift in closing out the rental. He was also incredibly warm and friendly, such a gift at the end of an exhausting day of moving.

We Gas was fine. Everything was in order. The customer service rep who helped me on the phone was great. The U-Haul app and the experience of picking up the van were T E R R I B L E. It took 55 minutes, 45 of it on the phone, to get checked in. The app and website are in desperate need of fixing. Also, I should be notified ahead of time if I need to have my passport on me to pick up a rental van.

took 3 hours to pick up a trailer because pieces were missing for wiring. we had to go to the store and purchase items for the trailer to work. employee offered to just "hard wire" to our truck because light on trailer failed to work....are you kidding me?!

I had the attendant at We Gas check my gas gauge, put $3.00 of gas into the truck, then tell me I'm all set. The next day I get a bill for 13.84 for 1/2 gallon of gas. I called they said they would refund it and I haven't heard from them or received a refund.

My original reservation was taken, UNDER MY NAME, and therefore it took an hour to scramble to find a new truck in a different location. The location was not a 24 seven pick up like I had originally requested and was further away which cost me more money and mileage. Upon arriving at 8 PM like I was told to do, the truck was left with the keys in it there was no way for me to note any kind of mileage any kind of gas or any kind of damage to the vehicle. There were no moving pads in the back of the truck, the fuel was left barely above empty, and there was no paperwork at all to say that I was even taking the truck. I am a frequent U-Haul renter from larger locations, but We Gas is right in my neighborhood so I thought I'd give it a try. Seconds after I walked in Smitty greeted me by name, he had seen my online reservation and knew to expect me. I had filled everything out online so was in and out in minutes. The service was excellent. Highly recommend.

The location was great, but the online reservation cancelled my truck at last minute. It didn't make it easy for me to move in 6 hrs. Online service was POOR....

The truck that I rented had a very rough idle suggesting that it needed a tune up. The agent did not know how to process the rental on their computer system. When we tried to extend our contract by one day we were told that the truck was reserved, but the additional day we requested was Sunday, the facility is closed on that day. If their location is closed on Sunday, then how could our rental truck be reserved for that day??? The agent said that he would meet us on Sunday at the facility to check in our rental return, but when we arrived at the specified time we waited 30 minutes beyond the agreed time, the agent never arrived so we deposited the ley in the "drop box" and left. Basically, we were mislead and abandoned by the agent at this location. Our experience with this location was abysmal. We will NEVER return to the facility located at 1344 Westminster Ave. Sincerely, John and Kendra Siri

Picking up the uhaul was awful! After completing the express pick up online I expected to be in and out in five minutes- it took 45 minutes. I stood at the front desk for 15 minutes before anyone even spoke to me. The man helping me mumbled so much I couldn't understand him. The credit card that I had put on file was nowhere to be found. He called a customer service line twice and was on the phone with them for several minutes. I gave him my card again and he couldn't find the security code on the back of it. I had people at my house waiting to help me move, this was very disappointing.

When we arrived at our pick time to get the truck, the guy could not get his computer to work then he made me put in again all the information I had already filled out when I made the reservation, as if he had lost the reservation. The pick up took over 45 minutes. The guy then gave us the *wrong* truck, and then called us 8a hours later and told us we had to drive all the way back to the store and swap out the truck or sign a form. Because the truck was already filled and we were already moving, I did not get the message until the next day at which point I got an email that stated "as per our discussion [...you should return the truck to the providence store]." We never discussed or agreed to anything and it was not my fault that he gave me the wrong truck. It felt that he was trying to blame it all on me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had.

Attendant was gone/late to the check out, took forever to sign and get keys, mileage and fuel were off compared to the contract (10 miles higher and ~1/8 tank less) but as I was late, I didn't argue. I was charged for those differences after the fact though!
