Nothing needs to be improved at the South Rd location, however, your website and follow-up customer service left a lot to be desired. I was not allowed to choose the South Rd location. I was told all their vehicles were reserved. They gave me the Garden Street location. I asked if they guaranteed there would actually be a vehicle there for me as the last time the website sent me to Thrifty Beverage, there was no vehicle available. Guess what? Your Garden St location doesn't know why you send people to them. They have NO VEHICLES EVER! I wasted time and my own mileage going out there, only to go to the South Rd location, and guess what...PLENTY OF VEHICLES. I will NEVER use your website again. I will call or go directly to the South Rd location.

I rented a pick up truck to tow by boat. The truck did not have a 7 pin set up it only had a 4 pin set up and your customer service rep. did not ask me questions regarding this and I had to purchase a 7 pin adaptor from your store in addition to paying for the rental. I rented from another location in Poughkeepsie without any issues because all of their trucks had a 7 pin & 4 pin set up already on the truck. Please equip your all your trucks used for towing with this set up so customers like me don't feel like they are being ripped off when the customer rep. says: "There is nothing he can do but I can buy the adapter to correct the situation".

I went to the Hyde Park location which is MUCH closer to my house and it was closed despite its hours on the website and the store front saying it was open. Because of this I had to spend an extra $30 going back and forth to the Poughkeepsie location when I live in Hyde Park. I will not be using this service again.

Seemed a little disorganized and the staff all defer decisions to the Manager. Was trying just to return unused boxes and supplies to the store I purchased them from and with no receipt they seemed powerless. Went to the location three times without resolution and the store still has my products which I left with them.

Worst experience ever! They moved locations on me last minute and I had to end up going 40 extra a miles out of my way! And my movers which were paid by hr ended up having to wait on me for 40 minutes. Worst part is when I called and told them about this issue they were still making me drop off the truck way out of my way! Worst customer service will never rent a uahul again

Next time they tell me the DAY BEFORE i have to move that the truck I WAS GUARANTEED AND CONFIRMED FOR was not able because it was booked at a location that’s closed on saturdays PER YOUR STORE, they might want to consider a little more notice than the day before.

I put in my order for a 26 foot truck. I arrive at the UHaul location and was told the 20 foot truck was what I was getting. They said someone was to call me about this but no one ever did. When asked if there was anything they could do because of this they said take it or leave it, and we’ can have our manager contact you. Nobody has contacted me, and it makes me never want to deal with UHaul again.

Laryssa gave exceptional service. She was polite, professional and accommodating. Most times when using similar services the employees tend ro rush you, make you wait, or they're rude. Laryssa explained everything thoroughly and still managed to get me in and out very quickly. I've always had great experiences at my local u-haul and will definitely be using your services in the future.

The experience was great until I went to drop off the vehicle. The woman (laryssa) was rude, nasty, and aggressive. Completely ruined my experience and will likely never use this location ever again. I will inform my friends and family of the poor service so that they know not to make the same mistake i did.

I got my 10’ truck from the location’s GM and asked for a hand truck with it. I spent $300 today for this rental!! I left with the truck and when I got to the house I was moving I noticed the hand truck was NOT in the truck. I called 5 times to try and speak with anyone at all. No answers. Ever. First call I was on hold for 2 HOURS!! No one picks up a ringing phone for 2 hours!? Absolutely unacceptable service.

1) I went through the trouble of pre-ordering a van online but I still had to wait behind customers who did not. So this step really did not save me any time. 2) Going back to point one, the process of renting a truck takes a long time and there are not enough clerks to keep up with the demand at this store. 3) The point-of-sale equipment at this store does not function properly, even the employees complain about it. 4) Unfortunately for me I misread the fuel chart and filled the truck with an extra 1/4 of a tank. This is non-refundable mistake for which I could not be compensated. It would be better to just top-off all of the trucks before renting them to customers to avoid this problem.
