The man behind the counter had a toddler with him. Did not have a mask on and no protective glass/plastic for protection of customers. He was rude!! I asked him to put a mask on he said no. I am a high risk pregnancy which puts me in risk. After inspecting the truck the interior had trash, dirty floor boards and food crumbs in the seat!! Drove to my place and opened the back of truck expecting to see the dolly and blankets I paid for and there was nothing (usually the truck has it hanging with a seal). I called the location and again the rude man said it wasn't his problem he just rents the trucks. I inquired how am I going to be charged for something he doesn't have. Again, he stated not his problem to call customer service. I phoned customer service in which I had to go to an actual uhaul store further away to pick up utility dolly and blankets. When returning the truck I left it cleaner than when I got it and full tank of gas. Completed return online. When I went to turn the key in to the store same rude man with no mask and toddler were there. I handed him the keys and he said I need to give him proof of mileage and gas. I told him I submitted to uhaul because he refuses to wear a mask I didn't want to get too close to the counter. He said no I need to give it to him I told him to call customer service because it's not my job to do his job amd that's his problem. He told me to leave his store which I gladly did and will never do business there again. Not for gas, uhaul and whatever else they sell!! Uhaul needs to discontinue service with him as he is tarnishing their good name and experiences I have had previously with Uhaul.

Location was changed one day before my rentL. Showed up an hr prior to pickup time (pickup 8am) as that what was provided in truckshare as an allowable thing, ended up waiting for someone to show up and give me the keys for two hours. Sort of ridiculous when im being charged 300$ to rent a truck. Very unhappy with u-haul, will not recommend to a friend.
This may have been the most frustrating experiences I've ever encountered with a rental service. After not being able to understand my question about insurance (I requested insurance during my online rental agreement and was asked again about insurance during checkout), I inadvertently declined the Safeway insurance option. After realizing this error and following the instruction in my email to return inside to put insurance on the vehicle, the clerk said there was nothing he could do and to call customer service. Then after being on the phone with customer service for a half an hour, after being transferred three times, customer service said there was nothing to be done because a half hour had passed! Then said if I wanted to return the truck I still be charged! Moving is already tough in and of itself, and U-Haul made it unnecessarily that much more difficult. I will look for other options should I ever need to rent a truck again.
I got overcharged! I returned my uhaul the same day that I took it out, they ended up submitting that I returned it a day late. Very upset with the way my situation is handled.
I didn't get a receipt
Guy wouldn't inspect the vehicle as your paperwork stated, no equipment introduction, and just plain not willing to help other than the paperwork. Trailer marker light was popped out.

Area was dirty and barely any room to park the truck. Using the app or website stinks. I shouldn't be responsible for taking pictures of the truck when I pick it up and return it. There should be a person onsite checking in and checking out the trucks. It was raining and I had to take several pictures in the rain and I got soaked. Ridiculous.
It wasn't a location it's just a gas station where you pick up the keys to the trucks.
I have called before I rented and they where very rud and when I picked up it was ok, but I called them because I was charged for 5 days and only rented for 1 day, they where not helpful.
my equipment I paid for was not on the truck so be sure to make sure what customers PAY FOR is available.
Not charge for a fill day because I was over by 1 hour even though when I said originally 13 hours, there was no price difference

Have a uhaul sign to make it easier for customer to locate destination
I did not like that I was not giving a balance of the cost of the rental when I returned. You withheld almost $400, but could not give me the amt that would be taken from my card????????????
I was OVERCHARGED 900.00 which has wrecked my bank account
