Well, I had to do the whole process myself and without a person. I had to hunt down my uhaul on their ginormous lot, check it for damages and take pictures of the odometer and fuel tank gauge. No one helped me. I did it all through my phone. So a lack of customer service was definitely an inconvenience. I was also charged $180 for a "Multnomah County Road Beautification Fee", which I refused. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get that removed. That was also ridiculous. I don't even live in Multnomah County. The guy also forgot to give me my dolly, so I had to turn around and go back. Uhaul also didn't have any trucks available in my town, so I had to drive 30 mins away to get one. When I dropped the truck off, the location was sketchy. There was no sign saying I was at the right place. Only street numbers which matched. So that was ok. There was no designated parking area for my truck, so I just parked it in an empty slot. There was a uhaul sign on a building, but no other signage to let me know I was at the right spot. I did find a key drop box, so I followed the drop off directions and put the key in there when I was done. I'm just glad it's over. Thanks for having nice trucks to rent.

Need better key box instructions
The truck I was given had a space btwn the windshield and windshield frame where air would get in and at any speed above 55 mph would siphon into a horrendous high-pitched squeal. I have video of it. Needless to say at the end of the 32 hour trip across the country I was ready to never use U-Haul again. I did try the road assistance feature on the app but I was never connected so, after 5 attempts on the phone and over an hr of being put on hold I finally got a hold of a human to register my complaint. Unfortunately by that time there was nothing they could do. I had no time to change trucks or wait for an available service attendant. Very disappointing.

The app is horrendous. It didnt work.at all on one of our phones. Then the "take photo" button didn't work multiple times. It.took us an hour just to get the van checked out. Every person we talked to was awesome and the van worked.great.
I've rented from you guys many times you guys have come so far. this time I rented from you was so easy and fast. I don't know if you could improve it anymore
I decided to go to a location a little further from where I live because I saw bad reports about the one nearest me--dirty equipment, no masks, etc. This location was well worth the extra drive. Ian gave me fabulous customer service--he should be made a manager! He even remembered my name when I returned and another service rep was checking the truck back in. Kudos to you!
We've always had a positive experience, until today. When we picked up the van the gas light was on, there was sticky stuff all over the floor and seat, and the air seal on the passenger's side window was apparently missing. The gas light was due to this store having an issue with people siphoning gas while they're closed and then making customers refill them and charging us for it. We picked it up with 3/16th of a tank and David told us bring it back with 1/4 and that they would refund us 15$. That's a) a very lazy way to run a rental van company and b) horrible customer service to make your customers do the work of that the company is supposed to; all while moving. It just added another layer of stress to already stressful situation, first thing in the morning. Especially since we were driving 5 miles, max. The sticky substance on the floor and passengers seat leads me to believe that the employees of that location are not taking the importance of cleanliness when it is more important than ever before. I'm happy to clean and sanitize the inside of a rental if it is made clear to me that it's my responsibility. However, it wasn't. Not to mention the air seal missing. Thankfully it was only a short trip because that sound is enough to drive someone mad. All of that being said; when we brought it to David's attention he brushed it all off like it was no big deal and excused us from the store. Luckily we aren't moving again anytime soon so we don't have to deal with that hassle again. Please consider looking into how this location is able to get away with all of that sketchy business.

Mileage is a bit spendy.
We unfortunately picked the busiest Saturday of the month, but the folks moved as quickly as they could with our short notice reservation to clean and hook up the trailer - I felt we got great service and we really needed the largest trailer to move our storage unit to Medford.

This is the best location that I have experienced of all the uhaul stores.
I forgot my gopro in the truck and was called to come pick it up. I hadn't even noticed that it was missing.
I couldn't return my truck the night before because the app would not recognize my location, no matter how many times I reset the privacy settings, so I had to come back the next morning to return it in person. Fixing this would be a huge help. Thanks.
The employees at this location were not wearing masks as required by law. I felt uncomfortable around them; they didn't even put on masks when customer donned masks to enter the store. Scary.
Customer service was not the greatest they gsve sway my trailer i had reservered and was told i had to have it back that night instead if having it the. Full time i was suppose to have it then upon i would park the trailer where i was told tgrn to be told to put it sonewhere else adter thr 3rd ibended uo putting it where i got it : there was other things going on with the guy i was dealing with that was irritating and un professional

Wear the damn mask the entire time. Make sure you have your nose covered. And if you have a cough stay home. The truck was filthy. I wiped down the steering wheel and it was black. Also the driver side side mirror was broken and gave me a blind spot the entire drive. The person who help was like here are your additional items (dolly, etc) on the ground and walked away... Very disappointed
I was double charged for a dolly. first truck wouldn't start cause there was no gas and semiconductors truck didn't contain the equipment I requested.
