I dropped off the truck 2 days before, talked to an employee that said it was all ok and I could leave, 2 days later I receive an email saying that I should drop off the truck at a different location (?). I call support and they transfer me and say that I had not picked the Portage location??? Thank God I had printed my contract when I got the truck, they changed, but still made me go back to the store to talk to the same person that had told me it was "all good" so we could actually check out the truck this time... and guess what? U-haul charged me for an extra day for "delivering it late". Scammers!

Chardonay HI have two issues, one with this location, and one with U-Haul in general. First, I went to another location and the truck I was scheduled to pick up wasn’t even there and then had to call to find another store that had the truck I needed. After coming to the next store to pick up the truck, they were closed and I had to do an online check in, which is fine, other than the fact that I didn’t get any of the additional equipment I had reserved and then had to go out and buy a hand dolly. Now my issue with this truck/location is that the truck itself absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and the truck needed a front end alignment so bad that the steering wheel had to be steered to the right just to get it to drive straight, which was made worse when you hit a bump to the point it was sketchy.
Jason TDealer had bad attitude . Even said that he doesn't care about U-Haul. And with me being a former AFM, I wouldn't want my Dealer saying that to a customer.
