I realized after I got to Houston that the truck was full of cat/dog hair. Everyone who was moving stuff kept wondering where hair was coming from. One of the guys who I was paying to help me move finally ask me did I have a cat because he was allergic and he was starting to itch he continued and then his eyes started to swell and then it was definetly a cat! He said he wasn't allergic to dogs(go figure) I still had to pay him $75.00 , it was $150.00 for 2/guys. And I had to kind of help. My suggestion would be to vacuum your trucks and spray disinfectant and bug spray because I've been itching on and off when I unpack certain boxes( like the ones that were on the bottom).

Left front tire of trailer had a serious air leak - I had to refill tire twice over a 48 hour period

The locations were both fine, your Corporate U-Haul service is absolutely appalling. Made my original reservation, no time specified. Then when I show up to pick up my trailer, they gave it away because I was late to an appointment time I was completely unaware of. No call to me, no nothing. They just gave it away (not the Alexander Ave Location). So I call corp Uhaul and they tell me they found another trailer available across town. Drive over there and there is a sign on the door "closed for memorial day holiday". Call corp Uhaul back and the women explain to me that she is sorry, that location was closed due to an emergency. The fact that you have absolutely no control or accountability over your franchise members is incredible. Was not able to get a trailer till the next day. As you probably know with work/moving/signing leases/etc. moving can't just be pushed back a whole day without some cascading effects. Sadly it was a move set up through my company, so I was unable to switch to another moving company. I will never use uhaul for a personal move and I will probably elect for some other type of compensation through my company so I can avoid Uhaul in the future.

Customer service was terrible. I asked if they could fix the winch cable on my trailer and was told, "yes, bring it down". I hauled my trailer 27 miles(one way) for the mechanic to tell me, "yes, I can fix it but my boss won't let me. He's funny like that sometimes." Well, I don't find a thing funny about that. Next, after the salesman let two customers-apparently regulars- cut in front of me, I was told to sign the contract without him doing a walk around with me. Then I got into the Uhaul truck were I had to remove not one, but two bottles of spit out chewing tabacco from the cup holder. I later found half a Milky Way candy bar stuck to the passenger seat that someone had saved for later. I declined to eat it but I did however throw it away and clean the melted chocolate off the seat. The back of the Uhaul was also dirty and unswept, which I had to clean before use. Trust me, there's not much convenient about this place. Take the extra time to drive into Baton Rouge for a Uhaul rental or trailer parts/repair.

Small location with limited equipment. Not high on courtesy.

During our travels my trailer got a flat. I take that the equipment wasn't inspected correctly. Also, I did not like how the man who I paid didn't hand me my ID nor change back into my hand. I felt disrespected.

Nothing, just fine.

The truck I rented has a water leak that caused damage to my property, including irreplaceable photos. I had to stop unloading to savage what I could, which caused me to be 2 days late returning the truck. Then I was charged over $100 in late fees. Thanks

The connection for trailer lights was not working. A police officer was kind enough to let me know. The back right tire was 20 pounds less than the back left tire, specifically 90 vs 70 PSI. I had to fill this up when performing the Ford diagnostic.
