Chuck was fabulous to deal with and I was referred by Jerry at another U-Haul location in Port Alberni on Cherry Creek Road because they didn’t have a truck. Chuck’s place is a wrecking yard so it is a bit rough. It didn’t deter from my rental experience at all.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulLocation was out of the way to get to but everything was good for the pickup. Staff was friendly and helpful and once the trailer was hooked up I was on my way.
Renee LFix your reservation system! I booked a truck ONE MONTH in advance fully expecting it to be available but ten minutes before pick up I was told my vehicle was waiting for me 25 miles (40km) away in a different town. The reservation clearly stated the time, date and location to be in my location. Calling U-haul was a completely unsatisfactory in the explanation and solution to my problem. A last minute call to Chuck at Twin City Auto resolved my issue only because he happened to get a vehicle returned a few minutes prior to my call. He then offered to stay open until I got there and was great to deal with. Without his help my move would have been a shambles. If you’re going to take a reservation then have what was ordered available or just say it’s not doable! Not impressed by U-haul itself, but again hats off to Chuck at Twin City Auto for going the extra mile and saving what would have been a disaster. Do better U-haul!
IAN RThis U-Haul location has friendly, helpful staff who are always willing to lend a hand. The equipment was as-promised and there were no problems whatsoever with pick-up or drop-off. Full Stars for this location. (it's an auto recycling center so be prepared to embrace this unique rental location. Sturdy, mud-puddle capable boots are recommended!).
CRAIG CThe fellow at Twin City was so friendly and helpful with hooking and unhooking and making sure everything was good to go!
