I did not want UHaul insurance the dealer put it on the bill. Did not need an adapter for the trailer lights but told my wife she needed one and charged her $20

Update the online booking service, It allow me to make a reservation at a location that was not open on Sunday causing an emergency situation, ie stress.

Truck was greasy and dusty when I picked it up I returned it in the same condition I received it I was told $175 was my bill and that’s what was being charged to my card I checked my statement and I was charged $221

We reserved a 15 ft truck for our Feb 2019 move date online. We chose our destination and started prepping for our move. The location for Uhaul pick up was very near the house as we expected and had confirmed a month prior. We had changes to our destination and called 10th ave location in Port Alberni B.C. to again confirm pick up prior to actual date. The attendant on the phone was very rude. The day to move arrives. We go to the 10 ave Uhaul location, the attendant can't find the reservation. 20mins later they send us to 'twin city towing' location...out of town. So we are already possibly behind on our ferry reservation. We drive to "Chucks yard" from directions given by 10th ave location. The office is filthy. The attendant does not bother to go over any instructions or safety checks: ie; walk around, And we signed nothing. He did not leave his desk chair....he simlpy pointed to a filthy truck in an over full scrap yard. The truck had mud and dog paw prints and overflowing ash tray and garbage. No washer fluid and the inside of windscreen was filthy. We missed our ferry sailing. We returned the truck to the 400km closer drop off destination we had previously confirmed with pick up attendant .Did NOT received ANY refund. The people at your Savona B.C. Uhaul drop off location (*at Millers Crossing) were kind thorough and helpful. But even they were confused and it took over 45mins and a few phone calls until we were permitted to leave w our receipt. No refund at all. We have never used U haul before..I doubt that we would ever recommend or use Uhaul again. Both your Port Alberni locations are terrible and the people your company pays are not helpful.

Have business owner be ready at opening 9am. He had to start up his computer and myself and another customer were waiting. Have the truck aired out or air freshener added. extreme smell of smoke in the vehicle.

The van was ready as promised. Both pick up of van and the dropping off of the van went smoothly and efficiently. Our move went by without a hitch. We would use UHaul again when a truck or van is needed. Thank you UHaul.

Truck was clean but, sounded pretty worn, Wasn't the most updated of places. Very slow, outdated computers, wasn't able to use debit card. Would only recommend because the owner was pleasant, and was willing to rent on a long weekend, nexcar outright refused. Which happened to be the first of the month.

We needed a 15 foot truck, we ordered a 15 foot truck, and when we went to pick it up, there was a 9 foot truck or a 20 foot truck. We took the 9 foot truck but we didn’t have enough room. Next time we’ll use Tilden.
